I've read most books by CL Taylor and this one is just as good. Quite easy to guess the who/what/why (mostly), but that doesn't stop the enjoyment of this one - it is easy to fall into the story and get totally invested in the characters.

Another very good offering from C.L. Taylor. I got through some long wet dog walks listening and it was an excellent distraction. If I have to criticise I did struggle to get all the characters sorted in my head but I did in the end.
Don’t miss reading/listening to the authors notes at the end they are very revealing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐
Every Move You Make by C.L. Taylor, an audiobook narrated by Clare Corbett was intense! When you have a stoker, it's not easy as you feel that your life doesn't believe you! You must watch every step, every move, every call, and every person you meet as it could potentially put them in danger.
I was blessed to have an e-book and an audiobook and this is one of the rare situations when it's easier with an e-book as there is a lot of WhatsApp messaging and it was so confusing in the audiobook! I managed to combine both and it worked out well.
As there are a lot of characters it was confusing for me to get to the essence of who is who and what is going on. This book gets more intense halfway through. Suspense and nerve-wracking moments follow one after another.

Alexandra, Lucy, Bridget, River, and Natalie are stoker victims who find support in a closed WhatsApp group. Things emotionally escalate when one of their group is murdered, days after their stalker is released from prison. If this is not hard enough the group receives a threat that one of them will die in ten days... No one knows who is the target but they know they must come up with the plan! They can't go to the police as there are some dark secrets buried but who will help if not the police? Can they take justice into their own hands?

I believe it could be triggering for stalking victims!

Thank you, NetGalley, HarperCollins UK Audio, and Avon Books UK for this copy! I highly recommend this book!

This story follows 5 people who are victims of stalking and have a WhatsApp support group - FYST - Fuck You Stalker Twats. Natalie's stalker is released from prison and kills Natalie on her doorstep. The FYST members - Alexandra, Lucy, Bridget and River, attend Natalie's funeral where they are handed a wreath with a card telling them that in 10 days time, October 20th, one them will be killed.
The chapters alternate from the telling of each of the remaining 4 FYST members and the run up to October 20th. The WhatsApp chat lets them all check in on each other regularly and show their support for each other as well giving them a safe place to voice their fears and anything their stalkers have done recently.
I particularly like the relationship between River and his girlfriend Megan. I felt it was portrayed really well and the toll it would take on any relationship. Sometimes River gets so hellbent on trying to stop his stalker and helping others he forgets about Megan and the difficult situations he puts her in unwittingly.
The countdown the October 20 really made me want to keep listening and see what unfolds next, and I so wanted the ordeal to end for them all. Some parts of the book where it details abuse and the lengths stalkers go to were eye opening and really made me think of the people who actually live in fear like this. Especially C.L. Taylor's authors note at the end. The statistics blew my mind.
I would highly recommend this face paced thriller to everyone and I look forward to more of this author's work.

Thank you to Netgalley, Harper Collins UK Audio and C.L. Taylor for this arc in exchange for an honest review

Natalie, Alex, River, Bridget and Lucy are part of a stalker support group, allowing them the support of others in the same situation. They use the group to check in with each other but one night a member of the group doesn't reply. She's been murdered by her stalker.

At the funeral the group received a threat that one of them will die in 10 days time. The fear each day consumes them as they try to figure out who's next.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, although I did guess a few of the twists ahead of time. There was a lot going on with trying to follow the lives of four different people, but it built a detailed story.

I rated it 4/5 because some of it was a little predictable.

I really appreciated the author's note at the end regarding her own experience with stalking and the statistics were eye opening to say the least.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to review this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A group of people with one thing in common... stalkers!

Starting off with Natalie, River, Alex, Lucy and Bridget who form a whatsapp group to check in on one another to make sure they get to their locations safely.
Unfortunately Natalie is killed by her stalker ex boyfriend, at her front door. At her funeral the group are scared when a wreath with "rest in peace" turns up, for a date in 10 days time. Could it be a mistake and they have the date wrong for Natalie's funeral, or could the wreath mean one of them is next?

A great thriller set in England, plenty of twists, including ones I didn't guess.
3 stars as I felt so much was going on that I was losing track occasionally, but we got there in the end and everything fell into place. Narration was also great!

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

It's not often a book gives me the shivering heebie-jeebies, but boy this one did! I was also completely addicted to it, willing the characters to finally be free of their stalkers. Anything that evokes strong feelings like that is always a winner.

From the moment I cracked open this thriller, I was sucked into a whirlwind of suspense and terror. The way it tackled the nightmare of being stalked hit close to home, sending shivers down my spine as I imagined myself in the victims' shoes. The constant fear of death looming over them was like a weight pressing down on my chest, making it hard to breathe.

As the story unfolded, I found myself grappling with the same questions of trust as the characters. Who could they rely on in their darkest hour? The bond between the group of protectors and the victims was a ray of hope in the darkness, but it was also fraught with tension and uncertainty. Every twist and turn kept me guessing, never knowing who was friend or foe.

But it was the ending that truly left me speechless. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, the author pulled the rug out from under me with a twist I never saw coming. It was like being hit by a freight train of emotions, leaving me reeling and desperate for more.

This book isn't just a gripping read—it's an experience. A rollercoaster of emotions that had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. If you're looking for a thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end, look no further. This one is a must-read.

**Listened to the audiobook along with the electronic copy**

Ahhh super gutted with this book! Usually love a CL Taylor book, and look forward to reading. The premise of the book sounded really intriguing, and the topic of 'stalking' is very prevalent in the news at the moment, or the amount of documentaries recently released. It followed different cases, and this allowed for the idea of 'stalking' to be broadened - but I think it was just there as a 'padding' or to make more people relate. It felt like Taylor wanted to cover multiple bases but by doing this, it felt too vague and broad. I think it would have been more intense to just focus on one subject, or one case.

After listening to the note from the author at the end, I think this book was a bit too close to home for her - and think this was evident in the writing.

The narrator was great in bringing the story to life! I definitely enjoyed listening to the audio version more than reading the electronic book.

This certainly isn't my favourite CL Taylor book - all just a bit vague and nuts - wanted to get to know the characters and motives more - wanted some 'truth' to feel more empathy.
