This was a fast paced psychological thriller that had many twists. LG Davis is a new Author to me but I'm looking forward to reading more books from her.

The only negative I had about this book was towards the end.when parts of the story made no sense. but I still recommend.

Thank you publisher and netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own and isn't influenced by anyone else

OMG. The way I could not put this book down! It’s a captivating story from beginning to end. I love a book that keeps you guessing. I had about 6 different theories for the ending and ALL OF THEM were wrong! Absolutely loved this book. This is my first book from L.G. Davis but I will definitely read more of her books.

his is such a great time. The weeks before your wedding where you can pick the things you want to have and dream about that wonderful day that lays ahead. When the date of the big day gets closer and closer, you see it all come together.

This goes for Brynn too. She cannot wait to say yes to the love of her life, but it seems like someone does not want this to happen.

A lot of unpleasant things start to happen, but Brynn is determined. No one is going to stop her form exchanging her vows with Nathan.

And that's when the author starts dropping a few bombs...

Every book I have read by this author has been a compelling read. The characters are great and you are fascinated by them. It's very easy to love some of them and dislike others deeply.

This was a book with a gripping plot and wonderful twists. A must read for the fans of this kind of stories. I cannot wait for the second book in the series. 5 stars

Thank you

A captivating rollercoaster of deceit and misdirection! Brynn is organizing her wedding whilst her fiance is working on a big trial. Her awful mother-in-law Debbie shows up out of the blue and Brynn's carefully laid plans start to unravel. This is a pacey page turner that will keep you on the end of your seat. Great twists and turns and well-thought-through character development.

4,5 ⭐️

I have learned about L.G. Davis’s books that it’s better not to read the blurb (a hint to the publisher this is…). In the Nanny series everything would have been given away pretty much. So I rely on the knowledge that everything Liz writes is amazing anyway. I have much more fun going into this blind. So I am keeping it this way and won’t say a thing about the content.

What I loved about this, I could feel Brynn, I could see her clearly. Liz has such a lovely way to describe things. I could see the beach house, the dress, I also felt with Brynn, she felt very real and relatable.

The reason why I didn’t give it full stars is that I had it figured out fairly quickly. Thus the big twists did not work for me. I still enjoyed the book and the writing. I am a bit on the fence about the ending. Yes it set it up for a second book, but it was different to what I initially expected. But I am excited to see what’s to come!

I always loved wedding stories and the drama around them. So this was a story made for me.

Say whatever you like, but I loved Debbie. The wit, the dry humour, her sharp thoughts, she was the very best of this book.

⭐️Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my advanced copy. All opinions are my own, I was under no obligation to review.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for providing this book, with my honest review below.

The Woman at My Wedding once again proves that L.G. Davis is one of the most consistent thriller writers out there! We follow Brynn as her wedding gets nearer to Nathan, with a wrench in her plans coming in the form of Debbie, her caustic mother in law who may have it out for her. Of course things aren’t always as they seem and while someone is certainly coming for Brynn, it is up to the reader to discover and judge if they’re deserved.

A great thriller with fun twists, I’d recommend it to fellow thriller fans in a second.

Brynn is home getting ready for her wedding, while her fiance Nathan is defending a woman on trial for murdering three husbands. Nathan's mom shows up out of the blue to wreck havoc on her day. Brynn receives other threats and is convinced someone from her past is out to get her. Brynn isn't sure who to trust and who is a friend. On the day of her wedding, Brynn has a hard time getting to the altar. Parts after the wedding seemed maybe out of place, but there were a lot of surprises I didn't see as to connections characters had with each other.

I enjoyed most of this book until the last few chapters. I felt it got a bit silly! An interesting read though with a good plot. I will be looking out for more books by this author.

Fabulous heart pounding domestic drama. A story full of manipulation and secrets. I could not put this down and the ending certainly was no let down.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.

Brynn and Nathan are getting married, and everything seems to be flowing well, until Debbie appears on the scene.
Is she the one that is sabotaging the wedding plans?
Or is the mystery character. "Sam" trying to stop the wedding?

This was a very entertaining, suspenseful read. There were twists I wasn't expecting, and characters that seemed to be really nice, and then they weren't what they seemed.

I was gripped until the wedding scene. To me, the plot just got ridiculous, Brynn overhearing the conversations going on around her.... it just ruined the book for me.
However, fans of psychological thrillers will love this book, and I can recommend it to them.

Unfortunately, the last few chapters forced me to award a 3/5 for this book.

Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read this book.

Could not put this down! Excellent attention to detail in every chapter. Due to the authors writing style, I was connected to the characters immediately. I was guessing until the end, and enjoyed the plot twist. I will be looking out for more of the authors books,

Brynn is preparing for her wedding while her lawyer fiancé, Nathan is in the middle of a huge case out of town. Brynn prepares for her upcoming wedding with the help of Nathan’s friends, Elena and Hannah, who have become her best girl friends, while a series of events attempts to ruin her big day. In the middle of final preparations, mother in law Debbie has decided to stay at Brynn’s house to make sure the wedding is perfect. Is she there to help or add to the chaos? Everyone has secrets and Debbie knows Brynn’s. Who is really trying to ruin Brynn’s wedding?

Simply addictive!
The story is super captivating and the characters fascinating.
Love the writting of the author.
Although I started to suspect, at a certain point, who the Woman was, I confess that I never thought it would end up like this and that Brynn would have such a hairy secret, I was totally surprised by the plot-twist in the story.
I loved it and can't wait for the second book in the Broken Vows Series. Thank you very much for the opportunity to read this magnificent book.

📖📖 Book Review 📖📖 Burying Brynn’s wedding veil in the sand for her to find is a pretty clear message that someone does not want her wedding to happen. While she thinks her wildest dreams are about to come true, a nightmare she could have never imagined has begun. While I wish the best for my friends’ marriages in real life, I am absolutely guilty of loving a doomed wedding on the pages of a book and The Woman at My Wedding did not disappoint! A gripping read on the beaches of Florida with an unwelcome visit from an estranged soon to be mother-in-law that will keep you turning the pages and guessing until the very end…

Review is posted on Goodreads and will be on Instagram well before publication!

You might just clench your jaw from beginning to end - manipulation, deceit, secrets, and oh right the narcissist mother is the cherry on top. Tense and sometimes downright aggravating, a definite page-turner to the end.
