Sadly this was a DNF for me as I found it too slow going. I didn’t really gel with Abi, and found very little happened despite reading a quarter of the book. I’m sure some people will enjoy this book as it if you want a lazy read where you can pick it up and put it down and not have to remember what happened before, you’ll like this, but for me, I prefer books that I can’t and don’t want to put down

Thank you to NetGalley, Aria & Aries and author Carrie Walker for this eARC.

Just like book one in this series "Escape to the Tuscan Vineyard" was super cute and fun.
The setting is beautiful and Walker does such a great job of describing it and sucking you in.
Our FMC Abi is a bit thightly wound but still very loveable and relatable.
I fell in love with Tony right away and could not get enough of him.
A fantastic summer read that I'd 100% recommend!

Absolutely love, love, loved this one.
I loved the previous book in this series (although this one can easily be read as a stand alone story) so had high hopes for this one, and I was not disappointed!
The author certainly has a way of drawing you in and making you care greatly about all the different characters.
It’s not your typical love story with lots of things happening with the different characters. Yes, you could probably say it’s a little predictable but in a good way, you really hope things are going to work out how you want them too.
The author is fantastic at setting the scene, you really do feel that you are there. I can vividly see the places the characters visit and the places they stay, she really brings this story to life in your mind.

All in all a lovely read, I hope for more!

What a lovely romantic read and a romantic setting. Italy and love just go together like peaches and cream. 5 stars.

Thanks to Netgalley, author and publisher for this ARC

This is a light-hearted, easy read.
Abi has closed herself off from adventure and commitment after a devastating loss.
Travelling to Tuscany to see her best friend, she gradually becomes open to living life to the full.
I love the way this author immerses you in the location in both her books.
I just wish Abi had been a stronger character. I felt she was being controlled by the other strong characters in the book.

Really enjoyed this light hearted escape to Tuscany. Abi is a make up artist who has an unpleasant experience with a client. She ends up on holiday in Tuscany and helps with the grape harvest at the vineyard belonging to two brothers...she embraces Italian life and one of the brothers...and ends up getting revenge on her unpleasant client.
Loved the characters and the setting.
A great read.

Such a wonderful escapist read.

I loved Carrie Walker's first book so I knew to expect armchair travel, warm-hearted explorations into love and relationships and some laugh-out-loud antics. This book didn't disappoint! I loved the portrayal of Tuscany - a location I love and thought was captured beautifully. And it was fun to peek behind the scenes of a makeup artist's life. It's also SO romantic.

Highly recommended.

Real easy to read romance that grips you from the start. Love that the lead character is a make up artist, this enables the author to write in lots of interesting locations for the story. Lovely picture on the front to suit the mood of the story.

This was a stunning summery read that I could have only dreamed of living for myself. I really enjoyed the romance and had a lot of fun with the story in it's entirety.

This is a cute story where make up artist Abi is forced to re evaluate her views on love and not always being able to control everything after she is given a month paid leave between contracts. She visits her friend Holly in Tuscany, Italy and soaks in the sun and Italian culture. Abi meets Tony who sweeps her off her feet and is a breath of fresh air in contrast to her past relationships, he is the epitome of a gentleman. Together they explore themes of grief and moving on from a tragic period of their individual experiences.

The plot is simple and the attention to detail in immersing the reader in Tuscany is good, but I would have liked more character development to understand Tony’s character in more detail and look beyond his attractive exterior. The fact that he works in film is not really touched upon and would have made the ending stronger. I think this needed Tony’s POV to create more chemistry in their growing friendship and romance.

Overall, a fun and easy to read book with low stakes that had me envious of Abi spending two weeks in beautiful Tuscany. Once the story got going I couldn’t stop reading.

I absolutely loved this book. My second novel by Carrie Walker and just as good as the first, which I absolutely adored too!

Tuscany sounded idyllic and I really enjoyed reading about Abi’s job as a makeup artist, everything sounded really interesting.

An amazing, summer read. Would 100% recommend.

A lovely bit of chick lit that makes you dream of jetting off to Tuscany. An easy read that has you thinking of summer.

Reading the book was like a lazy break in Tuscany, all hot days, cotton dresses and beautiful sunsets. I loved the dynamic of the group working and living in Italy, making vineyards run, b and bs welcoming and restaurants enticing. Abi and Tony are both fun characters that are made appealing. There are lots of little twists of good and bad individuals and a great twisty ending that I didn’t spot which made the plot,

Let me start by saying I love the colours and design of this book cover. It makes me want to escape to Tuscany myself.

Abi Mason likes to be in control of everything, so when things go wrong at work in her busy London job and she is put on gardening leave, she decides to take a trip to Tuscany to visit her best friend Holly under some duress. Having sworn off men for life after having her heartbroken, she has a firm rule, no second dates (if you don't let them in, they can't leave you). She gets more than she bargained for when she meets the dashing Tony. Having kept herself career focused, Abi has managed to steer clear of love but somehow she seems to be breaking all her rules.

This book makes a lovely summer read, it's about friendship, starting over with some beautiful scenery, delicious food and likeable characters.

Thank you to NetGalley and Aria for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
It is one of those books that made me wish you could give half stars as I would actually rate it as a 3.5.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ - It was just okay, didn’t move me, but don’t feel like I wasted me time reading it either.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Really liked it. Will read more by the author and other books in the series.

After things go wrong with Abi with her work she decides to go to Tuscany to visit her friend Holly. She meets Tony who she thinks is American but is actually Italian. She has sworn off getting involved with anyone after a terrible tragedy.
