Based upon a true story. Heartwarming, and uplifting. Helps the reader understand why studying in the wild is best. I learned about orcas. Wonderful illustrations. I was blessed with a free ARC, and I’m voluntarily leaving my review.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. In this true story, two whales are kidnapped from their ocean home to learn more about their species. They discover that the whales like music and a man plays the flute. When one dies, the other stops eating, but the man with the flute saves him by paying for it. It's a cute story, but I hate glorifying the horrible things they did by taking the animals out of their natural habitat.

My son loves orcas | killer whales and is always interested in reading and better understanding things about the species. The illustrations were wonderful and a good read.

I really wanted to love this book because it seems like a title that I would love.
Even though I love the actually story behind this, I felt like the text could have flowed a little easier. All the talk about the 2 "Pauls" was confusing at first.
Illustrations were beautiful!

Absolutely precious. I had no idea about Paul Horn and his music. It was a very touching story with lovely artwork and a message. Fantastic!

Thank you to NetGalley and Tundra Books for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
