Loved the relationship between the sisters and the set up and the setting. Felt the hero and heroine weren't together enough, particularly in the first half, which diluted their relationship intensity for me, but that said loved their first meet and ending and the happy ever after with the sisters.

Reluctant Bride's Baby Bombshell by Rachael Stewart is part of the four part one year to wed series published by the True Love series for Mills & Boon.

Eve fled the Australian outback and her home town of Marni after discovering her parents had lied to both her and to her sisters. She has built a life in London and a loving relationship with her maternal grandparents whilst remaining estranged from her parents and sisters. She returns home after her father dies to discover that to inherit the cattle station, Garrison Downs, the sisters must all marry within a year. Nate Harrington is the son of George who was Eve’s father’s lawyer. As he is I’ll Nate has move home and taken over his practice. Nate resents his father but slowly discovers her was absent for most of his childhood as he was busy helping others. Nate and Eve meet and have a one night stand the night she returns to Marni. She finds out she is pregnant and the storyline goes from there.

The storyline is very formulaic and there is nothing fun or memorable about it. The characters don’t seem to gell or work very well together. I also thought that they didn’t really catch the reader’s attention. I enjoyed that that bothe characters worked through their childhood and parental issues. I wouldn’t reread this novel and normally I enjoy Rachael Stewart’s books.

This is a four-part multi-author tale about a father’s legacy and the condition that to inherit, each daughter must marry within the year. It can be read as a standalone.

Our Eve lives in London after discovering a family secret many years ago and leaving the outback to return to her maternal grandparents house. At the reading of her father’s will, learns that she and her sisters must marry within the year if they are to inherit the estate. Eve returns home to try to break the will and has a fab night with a tattoed hunk, Nate. Our tattoed hunk has returned from Syndey to take over his father’s law firm, but he resents said father for always putting work first (not family). Eve reunites with her sister and then goes to talk to the family lawyer, unfortunately he's retired and she finds his son, Nate. He tells her that it’s impossible to break the clause and her best bet is to find someone to marry and he’ll help set up the pre-nup. Four weeks after returning, Eve has a suspicion that the night with Nate has lasting consequences and goes to buy a pregnancy test (or 15) and meet up with Nate outside the pharmacy. He sort of invites himself along for the mustering at the ranch the following week; meanwhile our eve discovers that she is indeed expecting a child.

This is a sweet romance without spice. A lovely beach read.
