The main strength of this book lies in its practical exercises and reflections, which effectively illustrate the book's core ideas.

However, it tries to cover so much that it lacks specificity. I would have liked to learn more about the goddesses and their power. It touches on midlife issues, but I didn't gain a better understanding of the actual challenges beyond the stereotypical ones, despite approaching this stage myself. Although I was initially excited to gain new insights on how to navigate and overcome the hurdles of female midlife, I found much of the content to be surface level and similar to what I’ve heard before.

The book's design is lovely and a delight to see. It really enhances the reading experience.

Radiant is definitely worth reading for its aesthetic appeal and the opportunity to learn about incorporating magic through engaging exercises. It provides good reminders about how to approach midlife from a place of power.

Thank you, **Wellfleet Press**, for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

As a woman entering midlife, I was intrigued and excited to pick up this book. I found it to be an enjoyable, easy read that lifted me up! Probably the biggest advice I took on board was to clear out the house. Not sure why this book in particular prompted me into action but I have taken this advice on board and feel clearer for it. There is a spiritual element to the book which I found very interesting but I don’t feel I am quite at the stage of creating an altar just yet. Lots of great advice and suggestions to take on board in this book.

"Radiant" is a transformative self-help book that goes beyond midlife, offering journal prompts, practical advice, and self-care exercises to ignite inspiration in everyday life. Despite not being at midlife yet, the book's insights prompted reflection and a desire for positive change. It emphasizes the idea that regardless of age, embracing radiance empowers individuals to illuminate their world and make a meaningful impact.

Radiant : Embracing Your Power and Beauty at Midlife. This is a light hearted self care book for women at midlife. It uses the characteristics of well known goddesses to introduce each chapter and includes all sorts of topics from clutter clearing to beauty. It is more of a gift book with a gentle approach rather than an in depth self help guide, Just dipping in over a cuppa will give you a bit of a boost.
