First - thanks to NetGalley and the author for giving me ARC copies of this entire series! If you are a fan of Sarah J. Maas or Jennifer L. Armentrout, you need to check out this series!

I am a huge Romantasy reader and I always struggle to find series that live up to SJM and JLA series. This series really does the trick. You will love the characters, the story, the action, and of course the romance.

Add this series to your TBR immediately and cure any ACOTAR or FBAA hangovers you may have!

I finished this book about a week ago and just haven’t been able to bring myself to write this review. For me, it is bittersweet and I couldn’t wait to find out how the story of Morgan, Draven and all those that we have come to love would eventually end, whilst simultaneously not wanting to story to end because I have grown to love the FMC and MMC! This finale had it all: heartbreak, action, adventure, angst, edge-of-your-seat-tension and of course great romantasy! I have been an ARC reader for each book in the series and have devoured each one.
Draven is a brilliant morally grey MMC (who doesn’t love one of those?) and what a final journey he went through along with Morgan. I honestly can’t believe that this series has come to an end and I would strongly recommend this to anyone who loves the genre! Now to (impatiently) wait for a collectors edition to be released so that I can have a beautiful copy of this series to add to my bookshelf.

Thank you to NetGalley and Briar Boleyn for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

In this final book of the series Morgan and Draven race to their allies which are under attack by a new force. This means they must leave their nice behind to make sure she is save and must face the truth that long ago all was set in motion to this final fight good egainst evel.
Morgan is aware that this final fight can cost them all they love but that it the only way to not only save the fae or mortals, no this final fight is about the world.

For me it is the perfect ending of this series.
I really like the idea how the well know story of Camelot, the persons linked to it and also the grail and Excalibur are used here to present us a totally new story line. In this book we learn so much about Morgan, her past, what was started so long ago and we have several twist in the story which I really like and think are well done.
In this final fight the friends or better the family they formed are aware what it can cost them and all are willing to fight for the greater good. Again the fights are not small, the price is high but I really like how it is written and also the end of it. The trust and love between all of them is well written and I really felt with them.
I really enjoyed this dark series and can recommend it.

"Knight of the Goddess" by Briar Boleyn concludes the captivating "Blood of a Fae" series with a masterful blend of fantasy and romance. This final installment carries Morgan Le Fay and Draven into the throes of a newly-brewed conflict, threading their enduring love through trials that test not just their strength, but the depth of their bond. Boleyn skillfully interweaves elements of Arthurian legend with original magical lore, elevating the tale to more than just a story of good versus evil. The quest to destroy the grail, sword, and spear adds a thrilling layer of adventure, igniting a sense of urgency as the protagonists unravel ancient mysteries. The narrative’s poetic undertones, such as "Blood calls to blood, the dark shall rise, Forged by the gods under sacred skies," enrich the saga’s epic feel. This book is a testament to the power of love transcending mere lifetimes, positing it as something nearly divine—an enthralling conclusion to a beloved series.

Emotional damage…

I was not emotionally prepared for the fourth installment to the Blood of a Fae series, “Knight of the Goddess”.

🥀 Found family
🥀 Heartbreak
🥀 Redemption
🥀 Second Chance

My heart was broken for nearly every chapter and I had to remind myself to breathe. This was intense.

Blood isn’t always thicker than water. Sometimes, the best family are the ones we’re not even related to. For Morgan, family definitely goes beyond blood.

I found myself hoping that certain things weren’t true for Morgan, and I cried when the moment called for it. She really grew into her role as a leader, not a ruler.

Morgan and Draven’s love may be eternal, but he is still my book boyfriend. I dare anyone to challenge that.

Special thanks to #NetGalley and #StarwaterPress for this ARC by #BriarBoleyn.

This is the fourth and final book and definitely a fitting ending to the Blood of Fae series. Briar Boleyn very effectively wrapped up many storylines, introduced us to Medra’s very complex personality, furthered the intense bond and love story between Morgan and Draven, gave us more insight into the secondary characters, took us through epic battle scenes and offered a very satisfying conclusion to the entire series.

Briar effectively pulls on your heart strings and takes you on a gamut of emotions from compassion, exhilaration, fear, anger, shock, disgust, satisfaction and humour. I was very surprised at some parts of the story, felt the injustice at others, enjoyed the tender moments and cried at the heartbreaking ones. Overall this was a very satisfying read.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this series.

Such a stellar conclusion to the Blood of a Fae series!!! Morgan's growth as a character was so phenomenally written. The chemistry with Draven was hypnotic. I am going to miss these characters and this world so much! This will be a series that I find myself re-reading for comfort. Thank you Netgalley!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

What a thrilling end to the series!

Morgan, Draven and their friends went through so much to get to their final destination.
All the loss and death that happened in this book was really emotional.
And OMG!! Medra 😪 such a brave soul.
I would have loved for this series to have a happier ending but the one it had was truly amazing.
I want to know more about Morgan and Draven and I’m wondering how long until Kaye takes over the duties of the throne.

Highly recommend this series to anyone

Knight of the Goddess (Blood of a Fae book 4) by Briar Boleyn is an enemies to lovers, fantasy novel. I guess they say all great things must come to an end right. This book did not hold back on the emotions. I spent the majority of the book going through the whole range of emotions. I adore the characters and the continued growth and development that they go through. The plot is interesting and exciting all while being centered in a beautiful world.

Morgan and Draven continue on the path of trying to defeat her father. At the same time their love continues to grow and develop. They bear a lot of responsibilities now and carry a lot of weight on their shoulders.

What an incredible finish to the series. There were tears but also happiness. I am so glad I got pulled into this world and enjoyed it all.

Beware the dread curse of Three...
The sword, the spear, the grail’s mystery…

This last book in the Blood of the Fae series is spectacular! What a fantastic end to an amazing journey. This book was an emotional roller-coaster that answered the mysteries set up in the other books, although it broke my heart in the process!
I really enjoyed the introduction of the third point of view in this book, which made it stand out from the other books.
Overall, what I have loved with this entire series is how each book is truly original. They aren't standalone books and there is a linear progression of the story, but each book introduces new characters and elements, changing the story from what we might have expected at the conclusion of the previous book.
Thank you to Netgalley and Starwater Press for proving me with a digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is the final book in the series and honestly, I did not want the story to end. I couldn't imagine a world without Morgan, Draven, the Exmoors and everyone else in their circle.

"There is darkness in all of our souls. But there is also light. Just because the darkness threatens doesn't mean the light won't win out in the end."

The author makes realistic, though heart-breaking, decisions when it comes to character deaths which play important roles in the plot advancement as well as development of the central characters. Their grief, trauma, heart-break, love for one another all drive their actions as well as the need to save the people of Camelot and it's neighboring places.

This book sets the stage for Morgan's final quest to destroy the grail, the sword and the spear through which she discovers truths not only about herself, but her family and her origins. As she moves to confront this truth, it's a race against time to save the people she loves. The finale though slightly predictable, is very well executed and provides the much needed closure to this beautiful series!

We all need the kind of love Morgan and Draven have. This can be felt from this one quote: "Be everything you truly are. That's all I'll ever ask of you, my silver one."

With this concludes my journey through Blood of a Fae, a series that I highly recommend for fans of retellings of legends with magic, romance and adventure all wrapped up in one!

Short summary - In the aftermath of the previous book there is a calm before the last storm - Morgan’s father. Morgan and Draven set out to destroy the three objects of power - the grail, the sword, and the spear.

Wow, if this is the end of this series then the author did amazing. If it is, I do wish that there were more parts but everything was tied together beautifully.

All of the deaths in this book were heartbreaking but I’m so glad that some good things did come out of it. This book was magical and I absolutely want my own exmoor!

Thank you Netgalley for an ecopy for review.

Morgan has assisted in bringing the end of the war to her home people and those she loves there. However, it is uncovered that there are more pressing issues they need to work to resolve. There is an evil that is closing in. Morgan, Kairos, and other friends will move to meet it head-on to save the world. It does start slow, but does pick up. There are some losses that are heartbreaking, but the finality of this story/series brings together the friends and lovers to closer relationships. This book is great for new adults and finalizes the series, closing all loops and answers all questions leaving nothing untied. Overall, good job with this series!

What a fantastic series this was and I’m sad to see it come to end. I ate this series up and truly enjoyed the story and characters. Yes, there was some very evil people, committing evil deeds but I believe the story would have been lacking without. This ending had parts that made me sad but it was great to see it all wrapped up. It did feel abrupt in regards to the end conflict but that’s ok. I want to say so much more but I don’t want to reveal any spoilers. What’s not a spoiler is Morgan’s bio dad really sucks!! And Draven is the absolute best, he had a rocky start though lol. I believe this is a series I would definitely read again. I also will be keeping an eye out for Briar Boleyn books :)
Thank you to Netgalley for letting me read this ARC.

The Blood of Fae series by Briar Boleyn Author is EVERYTHING!
I have come across very few authors that write well enough that I am actually devastated when something happens to a character but Briar Boleyn had me wanting to throw my kindle and rage! This series held me captive from the very first chapter until the end!!! She has definitely become an auto-buy author!

I was eagerly awaiting the fourth book in the ‘Blood of a Fae’ series and it did not disappoint. It wrapped things up nicely, and wasn’t just fan service. All of Morgan’s past gets connected so you can feel a sense of closure. There were a few unexpected turns that were heartbreaking (I grew attached).

Morgan meeting her father was everything.

I want a battle cat of my own now.

Thank you NetGalley and Starwater Press for providing me with this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

The first book was the only one I liked in this series. Honestly, this series could be a duology, dont know why there had to be 4 of them...
Also "dark fantasy romance" seems to be pushing it a bit
