Easy and entertaining read with a lot of action, and this time the characters are excellent and the plot is pretty unpredictable.

Bob is back in action!

Now transplanted to Arizona, Bob has been living under the radar for 6 months. He has a job, he's volunteering and he's even made another friend. A nun with as many secrets as Bob. When a user of a hostel is almost killed Bob steps in to give the guy a helping hand. Inadvertently he's stepped into a pile of trouble. His Samaritan act leads him to cartels, corrupt cops, incompetent gangsters and all while trying to keep a widowed father and his son out of danger!

I wanted to really like Tito but he is his own worse enemy. If Bob tells you to sit still you sit still!! Sean wants nothing but happiness for him and his dad and he has to do some growing up when his dad gets into trouble. Angel and Co. are complete scum, I had no sympathy for them at all. I have to say I called "The Gravedigger" connection, I was so proud I got that right, lol.

Bob can survive just about anything I'm sure but a jaguar was a new one! I love that he's touching base with Nurse Dawn still. She is his grounding point I think - she stops him sliding back to who he used to be.

There was plenty going on to keep us all happy and I'm on tenterhooks waiting to see where Bob ends up next time!

I enjoyed this book as well as the series. A tight written plot full of action, mayhem and humor. Good characters with Bob. as the main character, added to support his role was well done. ...Given arc by Net Galley and Inkubator books, for my voluntary review.
I recommend this book. Releases April 21

Ian Loome keeps writing entertaining stories. Hell Bent is the fourth adventure with ex CIA assassin Bob Singleton. In this Rogue Warrior series we find Bob trying to keep a low profile since he is supposed to be dead and if not the CIA wants him eliminated. He can't stay to long anyplace and he keeps finding himself in situations where people needs his help. This book is one of the best in the series and there are some great twists that I didn't expect. The characters are as usual great and the fast paced stories include some humor as well. I really enjoy reading these books from a great author. I must thank Netgalley and Inkubator Books for letting me read this advance copy.

I was able to read this ARC on Netgally and I didn't realize that this was the fourth book in the series. Nevertheless, I was able to read it and didn't feel too lost. The book reads like an action movie and main character who is fearless and deadset on vengeance no matter the cost.
