A solid mystery that kept me reading and guessing.

I love the Bangalore Detective Club series and was really excited to read this next instalment and it didn’t disappoint. It was wonderful to be back with Kaveri and Ramu investigating the disappearance of a celebrity magician. All this in the lead up to the visit of the Prince of Wales and the simmering political and colonial atmosphere of 1920s India. Beautiful and delicious descriptions of food are such an added bonus and always makes these books such an enjoyable and engaging read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely loved returning to the familiar ladies of The Bangalore Detective Club and can't wait for the next installment. Please hurry and write it!
