I enjoyed this book very much! That's not surprising, considering the author. Daniel is a great writer, and one of my favorites! As I always am with his books, I was hooked from the beginning, and it was so hard to put it down. I couldn't wait to find out how it ended. I wasn't disappointed! This book had plenty of great twists and turns, and ended perfectly. I always look so forward to reading Daniel's books, because I know they will be great!

Absolutely loved everything about this book. The character building was great that made it even more personable for the reader. Lots of plot twists and turns to keep you on your toes right till the end.
Highly recommend.

Thank you to Netgallery and the publisher for this ARC. The publication date is the 31st May. Another fantastic and gripping book Daniel Hurst he never fails to deliver the gripping, twisty plot in his book that keeps you gripped until the very last line.
I loved this book and the setting I’d highly recommend it. The book had many curveballs thrown in that kept me intrigued to read on.

4.5/5 (rounded up)
Overall I enjoyed this story a lot. I wish we got more at the end. I didn’t see the twist at the end coming that’s why it got the rating it did. Up until the twist I would have rated the book 3.5, it just didn’t have much excitement. I would still recommend the book, as the ending did surprise me.

The Family Trip had me hooked from page one. While the story was intriguing, I felt I knew the premise early on, but I kept on due to the authors writing style. The story telling still made for a fun weekend read. I had mixed feelings on the likability of some of the characters, but was satisfied with the ending.
Donovan and Rosalind are a wealthy couple on holiday overseas with their son and his nanny. Money is no object and they spare no expense, including hiring a private tour guide to show them around the countryside. What looks like a family trip is not what is seems to be. What are their real intentions and what secrets are they hiding?

Daniel Hurst is an incredible author. This is the second book I’ve read by him and it’s a thrilling, gripping story. Had me on the edge of my seat and the twist at the end was incredible. However I found the main character really irritating haha! Highly recommend!

Once you start reading this, clear your schedule because you won't want to do anything else but read to the end!
From the very beginning, The Family Trip is a fast paced captivating read. The character development was surreal, I was so angry at some of these characters, I was seething! The book has two POV's. Shannon lives in Ireland where she is a tour guide. Rosalind is a wealthy mother from America who contacts Shannon to be their private tour guide when they head to Ireland. Rosalind did not contact Shannon out of the blue, she has a plan and it is to destroy Shannon. How are these two connected? Read on and you shall find out!
From the beginning, Rosalind is a piece of work. She will get your blood pressure up and you will wish you could give her an attitude adjustment. Shannon believes she is giving a private off the beaten path tour for Rosalind and her husband Donavan but when she meets them, they have their 7 (or is he 8?!) year old son and nanny in tow with them. This is the beginning of all the red flags which start to pop up faster than I can keep up with!
I binge read this over the course of an afternoon. Weekend chores had to wait, this was a ride I was on until the end! And the end did not disappoint, just while everything started coming together, a twist comes out from nowhere and had me stop to blink and digest. Did that really just happen? Yeah, it did.
Great job Daniel Hurst. Loved it. Thank you SO much to NetGalley and Bookouture for the advanced digital readers copy to review.
An easy 5 star quick read!

I love Daniel Hurst so always expect great things and this didn't disappoint! Original, captivating, and just incredibly moreish. I flew through the book and the twists kept coming. Jist when you think you have it sussed, everything is thrown in the air again. I had this read within a day and have no regrets

Love all Daniel’s work and this was no exception. Fresh and dynamic... Fast-paced and spellbinding...a book you will have a hard time putting down.

I devoured this book in one sitting. Daniel Hurst is one of my favourite authors and I’ve read all of his books. This is definitely my favourite one so far.
It’s the perfect domestic thriller with plenty of twists throughout and intriguing characters.
It’s definitely a big fat 5 star read.

Daniel Hurst has quickly become one of my favourite authors and this new release does not disappoint. I really can picture this as a drama on tv around a family holiday to island but the couple booking the tour actually have much darker plans as their children’s lives may be at stake. I won’t spoil this but it’s a great read which would be perfect by the pool in the summer with a cocktail in hand.

Title: "The Family Trip" by Daniel Hurst: A Thrilling Page-Turner with Unexpected Twists and Characters You'll Love to Hate
Daniel Hurst's "The Family Trip" is a heart-pounding thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end. With twists you won't see coming and characters that will stay with you long after you've finished the book, it's a must-read for fans of suspense. Just be prepared to feel some strong emotions towards certain characters along the way!

As always I love reading anything by Daniel Hurst, this book was very thrilling and a very twisty read overall, definitely recommend it.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this arc. I will read every one of Daniel Hurst's books!! He has a way of drawing you in, and he describes each character so well, you feel like you know them. I felt like I was in the room, watching what was happening! Lots of twists and the ending was soo good! Did not see it coming. Five stars, wish I could give it more.

Daniel Hurst does it again!! From the many twists and turns in this book to the endless unlovable characters, I was hooked from the beginning!
All of his books are complete page turners and this one is no different! How far would you go to keep your child with you forever? Well this couple has a devious plan. One that will keep you relentlessly turning the pages!

This book was absolutely amazing. The beginning pulled me right in, and I couldn't put it down. The anxiety I felt reading through some of the situations described was palpable. This is for sure one of the best reads I've read! You will enjoy twist after twist in this psychological thriller,
The writing is so smooth, and easy to follow, descriptions are at a perfect level (not TOO descriptive or not descriptive enough) and the characters are well built.
I highly suggest giving this book a go!
It's a five out of five stars from me !

4,5 stars!
This was my first Daniel Hurst book and definitely not my last.
A family traveling from America goes missing while on a trip to Ireland. We get Dual POV in this book. The wife of the family who came to Ireland on a family vacation, and the travel guide they sought out to give them a private tour of the country.
Such a fun, fast paced thriller that will keep you guessing and unable to put down. I absolutely flew through this book. I would recommend for fans of Freida McFadden and Kiersten Modglin.
Thanks so much to NetGalley and Bookouture for my advanced copy!

Wow! What a read! Started this morning and couldn’t put it down. It was addictive. The twists were fab and didn’t see them coming. Really enjoyed it!

A great read! Although I guessed one of the twists, I was so engrossed in the story and the character's motivations. I really enjoyed the Ireland setting and loved the last couple of twists!
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

What a great read. I was gripped by this. Loved the plot, the twists you don't see coming and the character formation. The setting was lovely and the end you just don't see coming.
