Amigurumi Friends is a great resource for beginners in crochet. The book explains how to get started, providing detailed information about materials, crochet techniques, and stitches. It also gives an overview of making an amigurumi, including the sewing process and choosing eyes.

The patterns are very cute and easy to follow. The patterns for a basic head and five different bodies are provided at the start of the book. With a bookmark you can easily go back to this part and make your critter. But it doesn't end here. The author encourages you to use your imagination and create your own unique plushies.

I’d recommend this book to anyone starting to crochet amigurumi and to crocheters who attend markets.

I loved how customizable the animals are––three poses for each animal. there’s also very clear tutorials on invisible round changes and indented eyes, among other techniques. I will say that not all of these animals are equally cute, but overall this is really fun!

Thank you for providing me with a copy of this book. Such cute and fun patterns with helpful videos. I would say that this is definitely more suitable for those who are already quite confident in crochet otherwise it might be a bit tricky to get around the patterns, although the videos do help with this. I loved the variety of animals and the adaptability of the patterns and especially the ability to scan a QR code to watch a video. I would definitely recommend this to more confident crocheters who want a cute and fun pattern. It would also be good to get a really beginner friendly version of this for those who are less confident.

Creative, easily to follow step by step guides with pictures. It even has clothes, a section to encourage the spark of your own adventures!

Each of the 20 creatures has 5 different body shape possibilities turn this into a 100 pattern book before you even start on different colour ways or different yarn types.

It has something for everyone! Easy to follow for beginners & plentiful buggers for a seasoned pro.

I cannot wait for it to released so I can add a copy to my shelf!

very detailed crochet patterns with all the information you need to make the perfect plush, including photo examples and step by step instructions. i loved that it included how to make clothes for the figures and a variety of creatures to crochet too. definitely recommended for those who want to make cute amigurumi plushes.

This is a great collection of amigurumi animals from Jade Gauthier-Boutin has easy to follow directions for anyone with skills from beginner to advanced. I liked the variety of animals and really enjoyed the options of different body styles for each. It's a very clever way to to make each animal unique, even though they have the same basic components.

The pictures in the book are creative and helpful and there are step by step instructions for some of the more complicated directions. Gauthier-Boutin (@allfromjade on Instagram) offers lots of variation - from the body type to eyes and cheeks and a variety of tips to make your amigurumi extra cute. There are even QR codes that point toward YouTube videos for people who want to see specific stitches and joining techniques rather than read about them - what a helpful resource!

Easy to follow patterns and cute ones too. I enjoyed making a couple of them and it’s a good place for amigurumi newbies to start.

This was a great adorable book that I will sure be referencing to for years to come. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, while also building a foundation so you can later on create your own amigurumi design. As someone who only recently started doing crochet, this was an amazing find.

Jade is one of my favorite crochet designers. This book is full of amazing patterns with clear directions and lovely pictures. It is a nice collection of amigurumi patterns for crocheters.

Learning to crochet as a beginner is a challenge. While YouTube tutorials and books with crochet patterns exist, they are usually difficult to follow (what's a half double crochet? How do you single crochet in the back loop?). Somehow, Jade Gauthier-Boutin has written an easy-to-follow crochet book that is perfect for those who are crochet beginners to those who are experts.

Amigurumi can be a tough thing to learn, especially if you want to crochet your favourite characters. Yet, Jade has a mixture of clear pictures, detailed written instructions (clarifying any key terms or techniques), and optional steps that make any amigurumi project less intimidating. This is truly a book that I'd recommend to anyone who wants to get into amigurumi crochet and don't know where to start (seriously, go through this book before trying to find a YouTube tutorial, Pinterest page, or Ravelry pattern).

A great resource for learning Amigurumi whether you are new to crochet or an experienced crocheter. There are also patterns included to practice using these techniques. I have already created the unicorn and it was well explained and easy to follow. The finished product was amazing and I cannot wait to do the dinosaur next. I like having all of the information and instructions for creating basic body pieces in one handy book.

When I saw this book available for review I knew I had to give it a try. I've been crocheting for years, so I know the basic stitches. I loved making these cut little animals! My daughter who is 9 saw these, and now she wants to learn as well! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun cute book that is very detailed and easy to follow along!
