I think this would be perfect for somebody looking for quick, easy romance. It’s a collection of various romances by different authors and I picked it up at random points to dip in and out of.

Light hearted short stories which are ideal to read and pick up whilst travelling or holidaying.
Some stories are longer than others, some pack more punch or ‘spank’ than others but are all saucy in background. Obvious advantages are no
Cliff hangers or further series to purchase and would be an ideal book to pack for a weekend of sightseeing and travelling or something with intermittent breaks.
Overall no great substance, easy to follow and a simple pleasant reading experience.
This is my voluntary review for a copy of this book from NetGalley

An entertaining selection of short stories by a variety of writers. This was an enjoyable book to dip in and out of when I had a spare five minutes.

Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review.

Eh. I was expecting better if your a bridgerton fan probably not for you. The stories need more information and work.

This was a easy read with varied short stories that you can dip in and out off. Really timely for those who wanted more after watching Bridgerton!
Thank you to Netgalley & publisher for my copy.

This is a collection of short stories perfect to whisk you back into regency Britain. Some stories I liked better than others.

This is a set of short stories for the very adult reader indeed. I was not expecting the content to be quite so sandm as it turned out. Whilst no prig in my reading habits, some of these stories went further than I was comfortable with, but then I'm not a 50 shades of grey reader. If you are. Then enjoy.

The Duke Who Loved Me
by Heather Towne; Tudor; Rose de Fer; Mina Murray; Flora Dain; Morwenna Drake; Alegra Verde; Donna George Storey; Ludivine Bonneur

A collection of historical tales marketed as for the lovers of Bridgerton. The only
similarity to the stories is that they all have a historical setting. I felt as a regular reader of a variety of historical fiction and Bridgerton I found this selection very poor at its attempt at historical/erotic fiction failing badly at both.

Sorry to say a very disappointing read. It did promise to have such potential but failed all round for me. 1.5/5

Meh...

A couple of stories were great - others not so much...

I did not get any Briderton vibes at all - Just so you know!

Average read! There was something missing for me but I definitely still enjoyed it, some stories more than others. Fans of Bridgerton would definitely enjoy and its great to pick up for a short read

Despite the hype around the release of Bridgerton on Netflix, I only recently found myself catching up on the first 2 seasons and immediately wanted more! The Duke Who Loved Me is perfect for fans of the now-infamous Bridgerton series and promises to give you 9 steamy historical romances featuring explicitly spicy scenes. You can tell this book was published in 2013, as it focuses more on the explicit scenes than it does the plot whereas newer erotica tends to focus on character development and plot, with a sprinkling of smut to balance it all out. Often, the stories were just too short for you to truly connect with the characters and lacked enough story, so while the scandalous romance and spice were great, I would have liked to have more beef to the stories. After all, the book is being marketed to fans of Bridgerton and we all love and connect with the unique stories of each character within the family. There were a handful of stories that I liked and would like to see become their own books so that I can read more of their story and revel in their love and romance.

This is a great read that is full of adventure and takes the reader on a journey of self discovery. The characters are interesting and engaging, and the chemistry leaps off the page. There's an element of suspense and intrigue, which adds to the fun.

A short and sexy collection of historical erotica and erotic romance; Initially published in 2013 and reissued digitally as 'The Duke Who Loved Me', Intended for fans of Bridgerton's steamier scenes.

It's an interesting collection of explicit but well-written stories with good historical context and detail.

Short, sometimes too short, and very sexy stories of the aristocracy and their servants. There is just enough character in each tale to draw you in, and then some very good twists as the characters get it in and get together. A quick read that comes in bite size chunks.

If you enjoy the second half of Bridgerton Season 1 with all the spicy scenes then this is a book you would enjoy. Personally I prefer the build up to the romance and regency context therefore this book was not to my liking.

More steamy than Bridgerton, this collection of short stories knows how to hit the spot that's for sure.

Still on a Brigerton high? The duke who loved me is a collection of short stories perfect to whisk you back into regency Britain with a little spice included ofc.

I enoyed some of the short stories more than others. There is something for everyone in this collection.

A collection of short stories also known as “The Duke Who Loved Me”.

I decided to read this collection as it was aimed at fans of Bridgerton, which of course I am.

As with all short story collections, some were great and so not so great, but I think there is likely something for everyone’s tastes in this collection.

If you’re looking for slow burn epic romance then this won’t do it for you, but if you’re looking for some hot and often decadent erotica, then this just might be for you 😉

This is a collection of short stories which is great when you’re super busy or have a lot on like I do at the moment.
I enjoyed some stories more than others but found there is probably something for everyone in here.
