Yet another brilliant and gripping novel by Heather Burnside.
Fans of her writing will get a huge kick out of what she has created here.
Those who puck this book up and walk into her writing clean are in for a real surprise and treat.

Book Four in the Manchester thrillers series.
Hannah Conway single mum to Kai working nights at the Gilded Cage nightclub,
her boss Jez Reilly along with Pake Holdings LTD both want to turn Rovener Street into a new luxury development, Jez owns three shops, her Nana Pat Bennett owns her house and she not selling up without a fight. After a vicious mob attack on her nana, Hannah swears to hit back with the help of handsome customer Russ Cole, so will justice be served.
Harrowing, Biting, fast pace read that you will be unable to put down.
This has to be my favourite in the series so far that will leave you reading such nail biting chapters all the way through.

This was an ok read for me. Having read the author's earlier books and enjoyed, I found this one plodded along. There was just no oomph, no surprises, and it was pretty predictable.
If you want an easy read that you dip in and out of, then this would be perfect.
Thanks to Netgalley and Head of Zeus for the ARC.
