I was really looking forward to this book, it sounded brilliant. Unfortunately it fell flat for me, with too many characters (many of whom were caricatures) and too much bedroom action. It was touted as “if you like Jilly Cooper” but unfortunately it didn’t come anywhere close. A sad 3*.

This was pitched as 'if you like Jilly Cooper' (which I do), but I'm afraid it didn't meet up to the hype. Funny in places, and some of the characters were interesting, particularly Christian, who could problably have won the election for Labour if he hadn't got appendicitis, but I did get a bit tired of all the sex. I don't think I'm being a prude, I like Jilly Cooper, but she makes me laugh, and I'm afraid that 'Cleavage' didn't. I think a lot of readers will get a great deal of fun out of it, but it wasn't for me.
