I have loved this whole series, and the finale to the Green Creek quadrilogy (I think that’s a word!) is no exception. There’s the content that I’ve come to love this series for: family (both genetic and found), love, friendship, acceptance, excitement, fear, joy - and a happy ending. That’s something that the inhabitants of Green Creek deserve, after all.

Whatever will I do without this series? Other than go back to the beginning and start again, of course. Because that’s a perfectly acceptable thing to do, isn’t it!

Look, I know this might seem like a very uncharacteristic series for me to get caught up in, but sometimes life throws curveballs that you need to find some escape from. And TJ Klune just does that for me. These books are my shut-the-world-out books. The goodies are good, decent people, and the baddies get their just desserts. Nothing wrong with that at all. Read what makes you happy, read what makes you feel better informed, read what educates you, read what snatches you up into another world you’d never otherwise experience (my favourite kind of books, incidentally).

This series really should be read in order, so I’m giving you permission to go and buy all four books or borrow them from your library, OK?

Spoilers!!!

And that’s it, the end of the Wolfsong series. I have adored this series so much, all of the characters all of the pack.

It took me just a bit longer to get into this one just because we’re away from all of the loved ones, but seeing this different side or Carter was so great as he’s been one of my favourites throughout the series. Watching him & Gavin grow together and come back to themselves and the pack was so well done and you’re rooting for them the entire time.

I just love TJ Klune’s writing and how he’s so lyrical & poetic. He gave these characters life and this series will stay with me for a while.

Because of you
All of you’

1/5 stars! Sadly, a queer PNR doesn't negate all the harm that T.J. Klune has done and this series seems to embrace elements of grooming and age-gaps that weren't safe or appropriate. It's a no from me dawg.

Such a beautiful follow up to Wolfsong. I loved the realism in this book and the undercurrent of magic throughout. TJ Kline just creates something no one else can! I don’t have the right words to name it! But I’m never disappointed with his writing!

3/5 Stars – A Bittersweet Finale with Mixed Execution

“Brothersong” brings TJ Klune’s Green Creek series to a heartfelt conclusion, shifting the focus to Carter Bennett as he grapples with family legacies, personal identity, and an unexpected romance. The novel maintains Klune’s signature blend of humor, deep emotions, and found-family dynamics, offering moments of warmth and intensity.

Carter’s journey is compelling, and his relationship with Gavin provides an intriguing contrast to the pack dynamics explored in previous books. The emotional weight of the story is undeniable, with powerful themes of acceptance, love, and sacrifice running throughout. However, the pacing feels uneven—some sections drag with extensive internal monologues, while others rush through key developments. Additionally, while Klune’s dialogue is often charming and heartfelt, there are moments where it leans too heavily into banter, slightly undercutting the tension.

As a series finale, Brothersong delivers closure, but some plot resolutions feel a bit too neat, and certain character arcs could have been explored further. While it doesn’t quite reach the heights of Wolfsong or Ravensong, it still offers an emotional, if somewhat imperfect, conclusion for fans of the series.

TJ Klune has done it again. I have loved every single book in the Green Creek series and even though I never wanted this series to end, Brothersong feels like the perfect ending. This series comes full circle by starting with Ox and ending with Ox. This book wasn’t from Ox’s POV like the first novel but he is the most integral character that has a huge moment towards the end which proves he is the heart and centre of the Bennett pack.

Brothersong is about Carter and it is his turn to find the love that his brothers already have and to never let it go. Gavin has run off with his father to save the pack and Carter cannot understand why his heart broke in that moment and why he didn’t realise what this feeling was sooner. I really loved Carter’s perspective in this story and although he is a little dumb, he gets there eventually and his character development throughout grows stronger and stronger with each chapter.

The first 100 pages of the book did seem to drag a little as we follow Carter who is looking for Gavin which feels quite repetitive but once he finds him again it really picks up and I didn’t want to put the book down. This is also the first time the reader has met Gavin as a human because in the previous book he was stuck in his wolf form and could not shift. I really enjoyed getting to know his character and his personality was so sweet and protective. Klune also gives him a very humorous side which makes him all the more lovable.

The one thing I love the most about this series is the overwhelming sense of family and pack that runs throughout. They always have each other backs, always love each other even when one does something stupid and are always together especially when it is needed most. The amount of love that pours out of this series is incredibly vast and you will laugh and you will cry and you will even feel like you are part of the Bennett pack.

As I got closer to the end of the book and the climactic fight scene where I knew something bad could happen, I kept wondering who could possibly die out of all these incredible characters and I was so scared for every single one of them. Klune definitely knows how to write a fight scene (there is one in every book after all) and I love how badass and united they all are. Even the humans of the town got involved to protect their own and I loved Will so much! There are moments that will make your heart hurt and moments that will make your heart soar with love.

Brothersong and all the other books in the Green Creek series are such wholesome reads and I am so sad that this is the end. By the end of the book, I was a crying mess and not just from the events of this book but because this series is now over. This is one of the best series I have ever read and I envy anyone who hasn’t read them yet who gets to experience all the feelings that come with it for the first time.

Wow, this series! I've adored every single book and am now feeling extremely sad that it's over. The pack dynamic was beautifully written and the cast of characters had me howling with laughter at times and then bawling my eyes out at others. TJK is a fantastic writer and I cannot wait to start on his next book

I absolutely LOVE the green creek series and after being lucky enough to have book 3 on netgalley I was screaming to get book 4, Brothersong!
I love reading about the Bennett brothers and Carter and Gavin and I felt so satisfied with the story when I turned the last page. I love the banter between the characters and the dynamics and the grumpy Gavin was so funny. Probably my favourite book out of them all yet!

Brothersong by T.J. Klune is an emotionally charged and heartwarming conclusion to The Green Creek series. At its core, it’s the tender and complex love story between Carter and Gavin. Their relationship is messy and layered, full of personal struggles, past trauma, and the slow but powerful evolution of their bond. Klune masterfully explores their love—not just as a romantic connection, but as one rooted in trust, healing, and mutual respect. The raw vulnerability between the two men makes their story deeply moving.

Beyond the romance, Brothersong is a celebration of family in all its forms. The pack, bound by loyalty and love, feels like a true, unbreakable unit. The bonds between Carter, Gavin, and their chosen family are epic and meaningful, providing the emotional backbone of the story. This sense of belonging, the strength of the pack, and the unwavering support of loved ones are as central to the narrative as the couple’s love.

Klune’s writing is filled with emotional depth, bringing to life characters who are complex, flawed, and wholly deserving of happiness. Brothersong is a poignant and unforgettable exploration of love, family, and finding home. Fans of the series will find this fourth book to be a beautiful and fulfilling conclusion, leaving readers with a sense of emotional resolution and warmth.

This is a bittersweet review for the last in the Green Creek series that follows the lives of the Bennett family. I’m so sad that this is the last book as I love this series so much. This book mainly revolves around the story of Carter as he tries to follow the trail of Gavin, his soulmate. This series has everything - werewolves and witches, love and family, loyalty and community but also action and adventure with an awesome monster/villain.No spoilers just go and get reading. I’m jealous that I can’t read it for the first time again. Pack, pack pack… I will miss you . Many many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC of this novel in return for an honest review

I have really enjoyed all of the books in the Green Creek series. After listening to the previous 3 books on audio, it was an interesting change to read Brothersong digitally.

Each book follows a different member of the Bennett pack, and I have been particularly impressed by how the author makes each book so distinct. The voice of each character shines through the writing.

Brothersong follows Carter, the eldest of the Bennett brothers. I have appreciated seeing how his character has developed so much over the series.

I felt very moved by his story and his relationship with his brothers. Carter has to come to terms with things about himself and his family history while discovering his mate. Following him on this journey was both exciting and emotional.

This addition to the series was very emotionally charged and also had some intense action scenes. I’m not sure whether this is the final book in the series, but if it is it was a fitting conclusion. But if T J Klune writes any more books in the series I’ll be very happy as I have come to love these characters!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC.

This series may be one of the best I've ever read for character development and LGBTQ+ representation, and this final installment was no exception. Carter's story was just as engaging and exciting as the previous books and Klune manages to bring the series to a satisfying conclusion without compromising on any of the characters or their relationships. Be warned, if you read this series you will suffer emotional trauma, but in a good way!

It is finished! I have loved this series and hate that it has ended but what an ending!

I love Klune's writing, and my favourite book of the year will surely be Somewhere Beyond the Sea, and yet Brothersong was also the perfect way to finish this series. The Green Creek series starts with Wolfsong where we read about Oxnard Matheson whose father told him would amount to nothing all his life and yet he meets Joe, a young wolf and part of the Bennett family pack, and his life changes forever.

We have read the stories of Gordo, the Bennett's witch in Ravensong and Robbie in Heartsong and know all about Robert Livingstone who is Gordo's father and a terrible witch. We know all about Michelle and the fight to be the alpha of all and in Brothersong it starts with Carter's story, one of the Bennett brothers who has left to search for Gavin, Gordo's half brother. But on the return to Green Creek there is much to sort out and the pack will not be protected forever. The town must support the werewolves and remind them that love conquers all.

Gosh it all sounds faintly ridiculous when you write it down but I love this little pack of gay werewolves and these books always have a lot to say about loyalty, love and acceptance as well as representation for all kinds of love. Ox has been my favourite character from the beginning and I loved that we came back to his story and he gets his moment to shine.

I'm a little sad it's all over and will be getting a gorgeous purple edition of the book soon. Ah what a lovely series... 💜

In the fourth and final book in the Green Creek series, we follow Carter as he leaves the pack to track down Gavin, the wolf he is so used to having by his side

Gavin has recently had a family bombshell dropped and what this will reveal will shake the of not just the Bennets but their ties with the Livingstone line as well

Secrets and long forgotten histories are Unearthed and the Pack will need to deal with the threats in the now, whilst also processing things that have passed and how this changes what they thought they knew

Great conclusion of the series, obviously a lot of this is Carter and Gavins story but as it is book four, and the last in the series, we pick up with the other characters we have grown to love and see everything all come together

All and all, a great series with family, love and what it means to be Pack

TJ Klune has created something truly special with this series!

Brothersong is full of joy and pain and love and friendship. I love how this book is able to pull you in and make you feel a part of the packpackpack.

Being back in Green Creek has been such a pleasure; I love getting to revisit old characters and have been waiting patiently for Carter’s story.

“All I care about is that he sees me. Like, really sees me. And I see him.”

I don’t think I can adequately articulate how precious these queer wolves are to me. Beautifully written with such a wonderful depiction of family and loss and community. Every single book in the series has made me cry and this was no exception. I really hope we have the chance to explore beyond the core Bennett pack!

I can’t recommend this highly enough! Even if you aren’t one for paranormal romances, I think this queer wolfpack will change your mind!

A good TJ Klune book. I was waiting for this tome to see those characters again. Carter was my favourite character in all the books so I'm so happy to see him again. It was great divertissement and plot.

"Brother, wolf, pack, love"
A truly phenomenal ending to the stunning Green Creek Series.

The fourth and final instalment of the Green Creek series focuses on the Bennet brother Carter and his blossoming relationship with mysterious wolf Gavin. I have loved all of the books and separate romantic relationships within the series but I personally found this one the most special the grumpy x sunshine dynamic was done perfectly and the banter between the two gave me all the butterflies they also had a special kind of magic where they gave each other the support to find themselves as individuals and learn how to be their own people and part of a family.

On top of the romantic element of the book the storyline itself was breath-taking it wrapped the entire series up beautifully and gave us as readers even more of the perfect found family element that encapsulates this whole series. I found myself sobbing and reading through blurry eyes throughout the end of the book and although it was completely perfect I am sad that there will be no more books for one of the best series I have ever read.
TJ Klune is an absolute master at writing feel good, found family, LGBTQIA+ books and I will always recommend him and continue to read his books for as long as her publishes

I seem to love everything TJ Klune writes and this was no exception. Ideally you need to have read the others in the series for this to fully make sense, but it is a brilliant way to finish this series and Carter and the pack will stay with you for a long time after you have put the book down.

It was candy Canes and pinecones and epic and Awesome.

This book BROKE me. I didn't think I'd love a couple like Joe and Ox. However Carter and Gavin had me from page 1.

This heartbreaking ending was just perfection.

PERFECT 😭

Anything TJ writes, I will read 😂 and this last book in the Greek creek series was everything I wanted it to be and more 🤩

Carter and Gavin’s relationship was so interesting to read about. Elizabeth is a precious angel as always and the rest of the Greek creek family behave as they always have, sarcastic and stupid but surrounded by a whole lot of love.
