This is my first book by this author and it is a great read! No spoilers but readers will love how Destiny handled Ryan’s “proposal” that she was hired to create!!

I love a good rom-com and this truly fit the bill! Looking forward to reading the other series from this author.

Overall score:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to NetGalley, and the author, for the opportunity to read and review this title.

Grumpy/Sunshine, Fake Dating, Friends to Lovers, and fun frisky pets, what more could you need for a great romance.

Destiny's dream business is setting up perfect proposals. On her first job everything goes horribly wrong. She actually sets up a perfect proposal for a stalker. It's even worse when the groom to be turns out to be Grumpy Gus, father of Molly, the sweet dog she grooms.

Ryan, AKA Grumpy Gus, does not believe in love, and after his failed marriage, never wants to get married again. After hearing Destiny's business plan, he agrees to help her in exchange for her being his date to his brother's wedding. They both agree knowing that neither is right for the other. Destiny has her checklist for Mr. Right and is looking for forever, and Ryan is only looking for something casual and never wants marriage.

This is a cute romance. I enjoyed their love story. Ryan was the perfect grumpy character that was romantic without trying. Destiny was always happy regardless of what she has been through in her life. I absolutely loved that Ryan called her Sunshine, such a fitting name for her.

If you like Grumpy/Sunshine, Fake Dating, and Friends to lovers' tropes you will love this book. There is even a little jealous MMC added into the mix.

Thank you NetGalley and Montlake publishing for this book in exchange for my very honest review.
