Definitely my mistake for not catching that this was a kit and not the actual book but…
Kit is great for book clubs (and it turned out to be a solid read!)

I think I may have misunderstood because I thought the story was included! Well, turns out it was not so I can only review the little kit! Unfortunately I can't say a lot about it but the overall look and presentation was really cute. I love the way everything was set in a certain color and fitting to the book it's about! There also was pretty much every information you could possibly want such as the content warnings!

I have to admit, I originally thought this was the full book, so that’s my mistake! 😅 This turned out to be a book club kit, which is actually quite useful and creative. I loved the cute bookmarks, the extra details about the story, and the author insights. The recipe ideas sound fun, and I’d definitely try them out. Overall, this kit made me even more interested in reading the book once it’s released.

It's a good guide for a bookclub management! Gives unique content that you won't find in any other places!
It also presents you with many suggestions of similar books from the same publisher and from the same author(s).
It's a great curiosity that under this pen name are in fact 2 authors.

This is a super cute and helpful resource for Bookclubs or just a big fan of Christina Lauren and/or Tangled! The interview with the author is fun, especially since they are a writing duo that got started with fanfiction, and this is a retelling. The addition of the cocktail and snack recipes is great as I’m often on Piinterest before book club looking for something themed.

Das Interview mit den Autorinnen war sympathisch, humorvoll und gab interessante Einblicke in die Entstehung des Buches. Es hat den Autorinnen wirklich Leben eingehaucht und unser Verständnis für bestimmte Szenen vertieft.

Die Diskussionsfragen waren abwechslungsreich – sowohl tiefgründige Fragen zu den Themen Selbstfindung, Vorurteile und gesellschaftlichen Erwartungen, als auch leichtere, charmante Fragen zu Lieblingsmomenten und Charakteren.

Die Zusatzmaterialien (z. B. Rezeptideen und Playlists) sorgten für einen schönen Rahmen bei unserem Treffen und machten aus der Diskussion fast ein kleines Event.

➖ Was uns leicht gefehlt hat:
Ein paar Hintergrundinfos zur Disney-Vorlage (Tangled) wären eine schöne Ergänzung gewesen, da nicht jede in unserer Runde den direkten Bezug erkannt hat. Außerdem hätten wir uns vielleicht eine kleine Aktivität oder ein Mini-Quiz gewünscht, um den Abend noch interaktiver zu gestalten.

I thought this was a book to read so forgive my confusion on a 23 page leaflet.
I'm not quite sure what I'm meant to be reviewing to be honest.
It looks like a couple of bookmarks that could be printed off. Some drink recipes and then covers showing the titles of every Christina Lauren book that's been published along with a few recommendations for other authors.
A bit pointless really.
