What an expected read and interesting premise. The book is twisty ,thrilling and a page turner and what you think you know you don't know. The book is set around two bodies found as a result of a home invasion and what surprises detectives is the knives in their hands. What happened? Oh what a read!

A gritty and gripping thriller that examines how stories are shaped by perspective. The alternating truths were compelling, though I wanted more emotional depth from the ending. Still, Holten delivers a dark, timely exploration of trauma and justice.

Unfortunately, this book didn’t resonate with me. While the premise sounded intriguing, I found the reading experience quite challenging. I didn’t connect with the characters, which made it hard to stay invested in the story. Plus, the ending felt hurried and left me wanting more depth.

This was very much a standard thriller, enjoyable, but nothing to write home about. I don’t typically enjoy a dual POV but it did work quite well for this novel. The FMC was pretty unbearable and I struggled to empathise with her.

I thought this story line sounded great but unfortunately it wasn’t for me. I found it a bit slow and I didn’t like the main characters - this is always something I struggle to get past and likely the reason I didn’t enjoy this book. Thanks for the advance copy

Unfortunately His Truth Her Truth just wasn't for me. I thought the description was interesting and appealing but once I started the book I found it a real struggle. I didn't like any of the characters which made it difficult for me to care what happened in the story and I thought the ending was really rushed.

This is a gripping and cleverly constructed psychological thriller that keeps you guessing until the very last page. The narrative unfolds through the alternating perspectives of two central characters, each presenting their own version of events surrounding a complex and disturbing crime.

The "his" in the title belongs to Tom, a seemingly ordinary man whose life is thrown into turmoil when his estranged wife, Nicola, is brutally attacked. Tom insists on his innocence, portraying himself as a victim of circumstance and a concerned ex-husband. The "her" belongs to Nicola, who, even in her vulnerable state, paints a very different picture of their relationship and the events leading up to the assault, hinting at a history of manipulation and control.

I couldn't put the book down once I started. Loved it.

His Truth, Her Truth by Noelle Holten? Five stars. No hesitation.
This book grabbed me from page one and did not let go. It’s raw, intense, and deals with some really heavy, important topics—domestic abuse, justice, and how truth can look completely different depending on who’s telling the story.

Told from dual perspectives, this one messes with your head in the best way. You’re constantly questioning: Who’s lying? Who’s protecting themselves? And what actually happened?

The writing is razor-sharp and emotionally devastating. Noelle Holten doesn’t just tell a story—she makes you feel every complicated, uncomfortable moment. I was on edge, heart in my throat, but couldn’t stop reading.

5/5 stars. Thought-provoking, powerful, and impossible to forget. Highly recommend if you love thrillers that make you think and feel.

I really wasn’t drawn in by the characters and struggled to finish the book. The ending was abrupt and I found that the book just wasn’t for me.

I gave this ook 5 stars. You must get this book or you will miss out! I could not put this book down!

I don’t think I have a read a book where I have disliked so many of characters. A good story line but the ending was a bit rushed.

His Truth Her Truth is the unreliable narrator you NEED to read.

Split narrative pov between Beth & her fiancee Joe. When Beth's father dies she has to go back to her home town but Joe is unable to go with her due to work. As Beth drowns in her grief & alcohol she starts receiving silent phone calls & feels like she is being followed. When they are both found almost dead each with a knife in hand we need to know who's truth is actually the truth.

Both characters are unlikable & frustrating but it works well as you switch between them trying to work out who to believe.

I must say I struggled to get into this book! The chapters were short so that made it easier to get through. It's my first book by this author so I will give other books another go!

Fabulous premise - home invasion x 1, people with knives x 2 - who is telling the truth! If I am telling the truth, it fell a little short for me! Mainly because I could not warm to Beth! Couldn’t relate to her or even empathise!
That being said - I love a good duel POV book and I did find myself hurrying to finish! Not bad - but would have been better with a more likeable lead!

I was so excited when I received this book to read!

There is so much mystery, and the characters are developed a tiny bit as the story goes on! I like it!

What I liked about the whole reading experience was the plot and the resolution…. Everything makes absolutely sense, and all the loose ends bend together.

Absolutely recommend this book for a thriller lover!

I liked how this book started. The back and forth narrative was great. But it ended so fast and abruptly I was wondering where the next page was. I thought the main character was losing her mind. That drinking was causing her to see things that weren’t there. I was hoping for that twist. The last chapter you find out who was behind it all and it felt like it was missing something. Everyone just moved on from this husband and wife fighting and the book was over.

His Truth Her Truth shows us how secrets and miscommunication can upset lives causing the ultimate penalty..

This was another one that wasn’t for me.

It started out with a bang. We have two people stabbed, each one holding a knife. Who exactly are they? What was their relationship like? Did they stab each other or is there something more nefarious going on? These are some of the things that run through your mind with the opening chapter. It’s an exciting opening with a lot of promise. Unfortunately, the rest of the book doesn’t live up to that promise.

Most of the rest of the book is basically a picture of the everyday life of two miserable and unlikable people and the dysfunction and breakdown of their marriage. One of the most frustrating things about this book was that a lot of what happened could have been prevented with some simple communication between Beth and Joe. Things start to pick up about halfway through, but by then it was hard to care about what happened to either one of them.

Beth was insufferable, even more so after the stabbings. The writing around her was a bit off and had me rolling my eyes in places. She doubts her ability to trust a particular person and then a couple of pages later Pete tells her to be careful trusting that same person and suddenly “desperation and disbelief are warring within her." Girl, what? You were just doubting that person yourself two pages ago. There was a good amount of this throughout the story.

For most of the book it also seemed like we were reading the story of Beth and Joe, but seemingly out of nowhere it became someone else's story. Here again was a situation where the reader has to suspend disbelief. A lot of what happened in the second half of the book was dependent on Beth picking Allison as her therapist, and out of all the options available to her she does. Surprise, surprise! Suspending disbelief to buy this would have been possible if not for all of the other moments in the story where we kind of have to shake our heads and just go with it.

The ending was also maddening. That's how we're ending things? Really? Really??

This one was just too messy for me.
