It is a very interactive and engaging with the theme of the graphics. Everything is concise and clear. It includes guidelines for creating profiles, tips to maintain ratio and much more useful information.

Helpful book for writing guides however I didn’t think this book would be included in books I needed to review. I originally didn’t review this and it has effected my feedback percentage.

I learned so many extra tips from this guide and so many things about netgalley that I didn’t know!

This guide was very helpful! I hadn't realized that different publishers have different approval preferences, so I'll be sure to check that going forward. Netgalley is my first experience with arcs and leaving a full review as opposed to just a star rating. Due to this the book review tips were also extremely appreciated!

I’m new to Netgalley and the ARC world, so this was a super helpful guide on how to thoughtfully construct a review and general tips on getting started. I honestly didn’t really understand how even the feedback ratio worked, but this book did a great job explaining terms I was unfamiliar with! Will definitely be implementing these tips as I get started on my ARC journey.

For anyone just starting out their NetGalley journey, this toolkit is indispensable! It helps with prepping your bio in order to heighten your chances of being approved, how to write your requests, as well as how to write and submit feedback for the ARCs you are approved for. Highly recommend reading through it for a better NetGalley experience.

It’s a great and important resource for both newcomers to the platform and those who are already using it.
It offers excellent tips and serves as a fantastic tutorial to help guide users through the platform.

This was such a useful and generous little toolkit from NetGalley. I found a lot of good information and some tips on how effectively to submit feedback. And the best advice? Requesting too many titles at once really lowers your feedback score and after the initial approvals everything gets rejected. Good reminder to temper the greed 😂

As someone who has been an avid reader my whole life, but is relatively new to the world of reviewing books on NetGalley, this guide was extremely helpful! It covered both the basics of how to use the website (including creating your profile, browsing and requesting titles, and submitting feedback) and tips for writing effective book reviews. The advice given is easy to understand and the guide itself is a quick read.

I wish I had read this guide when I first joined NetGalley — it would have saved me a lot of confusion. If you’re just starting out on NetGalley: start with this guide! Do not skip this resource, trust me. Even if you’re an experienced user, this guide has a lot of insight that could be useful for you.

Wish I read this before I read any other book or posted any reviews. Really helpful, I loved all the links and extra information not just the book. It’s been quite scary doing reviews. At first I requested books I liked then was shocked when I got sent them! Reading this, along with the extras, has been really reassuring. I do love a flow chart and that gave me confidence to complete a book I knew I would struggle to review. It doesn’t take much time to read and the bright colours make it feel fun rather than a chore. Hopefully it will improve my reviews. If this one is anything to go on I need all the help I can get. Thank you, I wish my mandatory training in work was created by the you!
