Very helpful with managing my accounts that are just starting out and still finding their footing. I really appreciate the support and guidance as I work to build a stronger foundation and grow in the coming future. It’s not always easy starting from scratch, but having helpful resources and encouragement makes a big difference. I feel much more confident moving forward knowing that I have the tools I need to succeed. With time, consistency, and the right help, I’m excited to see where this journey will lead. Very handy guide to NetGalley! It really helped me understand what I should include in my profile and the best way to layout reviews. Some of the info was pretty self explanatory but overall a helpful compilation.

Generally very informative, but quite basic. A lot of the information given is fairly self-explanatory and I feel that the bigger issues that I've faced as a Book Advocate aren't covered here, or in the support sections of the website.

I would also say that some sections (particularly the beginning) come across as quite condescending and patronising.

This is such a helpful Toolkit to begin your journey on NetGalley. It covers everything you need to know about setting up your profile up to becoming an established book advocate. It is definitely a must read before you start requesting and reviewing books. I am glad that I will always have access to it on my shelf. So that I can go back to it whenever I need a reminder!

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a great resource for anyone who is new to reviewing ARC's on NetGalley. I learned a lot throughout this short book on how to properly review ARC's. It was incredibly insightful and I am thankful the resource was provided. Thank you for making this available for reviewers.

I wish I had read this sooner! I think this is a crucial handbook for any new Netgalley members. It explains how ARCs work and how to use Netgalley to your best advantage. I also love that it provides actionable tips on writing reviews and when to post them. Not only is it meant to hand-hold any new member in setting up their profile, but it also serves as a useful guide to get answers to common questions that arise even after a member becomes more seasoned in ARC reviewing and Netgalley as a whole.

This was a concise and easy to follow guide on using NetGalley as a beginner. I really liked the walk through of the site, reviewing, and tips on writing a useful book review for other readers and the publisher. It also gives you a headstart on reading via the NetGalley Shelf app - which is how you'll access books in the future. Definitely would recommend to all beginners + anyone who needs a refresher on review writing tips.

NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit is a great resource for helping write your reviews. I actually found it after my first review and after reading it I have a better understanding of how to write reviews and provide feedback. I really loved how they included a review example. I have been using that template since finding it. Everything was very easy to understand. It’s worth taking a look at and having it on hand to help with your feedback. Great resource!
