This was a great guide to NetGalley. I love how there’ are links through out for more in-depth information. The fact that they keep it up to date too is great. I think you should definitely read this if you’re a beginner.

The NetGalley's Book Advocate Advocate Toolkit is a helpful tool for all those using NetGalley, but especially so for book reviewers.
It outlines the various accounts that are available to NetGalley users and walks reviewers through all aspects of using the website and app.
In addition to walking readers through the process of setting up an account, how to request books successfully, and how to review and upload those reviews the book even outlines what to do if one was not able to finish a book. It includes a handy flow chart for readers to figure out what to do in such a situation.
I would recommend NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit to all those who use NetGalley to review books, particularly those just starting out.

This guide is an overview of the review process at NetGalley. I found it extremely helpful and will refer back to it again in the future. I recommend reading it as soon as you set up your NetGalley account and wish I would have read it then instead of after completing several reviews. However, I still found it extremely helpful. I’ve already made some updates to my profile and taken a few notes on submitting reviews. The format is very graphic and easy to consume. Thank you NetGalley for putting out this guide.

It not only helps you create your profile but also gives tips and tricks for requesting and reviewing books, including how to structure and write good reviews! It is well formatted, easy to read and access, and contains links for additional information.

Those new to NetGalley will find this toolkit invaluable for understanding how it works and the reviewing platform. Even those who have been using NetGalley a while will find some of the information in this revised and updated edition of the toolkit helpful, or at least a good refresher! I found a lot of useful tidbits that will help me boost my review ratio and stay on top of my reviews!

A great guide to making the best use of NetGalley from creating your portfolio to requesting and reviewing books. As a new user I found the section on structuring and writing book reviews particularly helpful. I would imagine experienced users would still find some nuggets of helpful information here.

The guide is also well formatted, easy to read, and contains links to additional information on each topic. Highly recommend for folks to gain a better understanding of the NetGalley platform.
