This is a great resource on how to be a good literary community member. While I've written reviews before, it's nice to have a ready checklist on what else I can do to ensure authors get nuanced, informative reviews on their work and set expectations for readers.

This was a very helpful and concise overview explaining the basics of book advocacy on NetGalley. Thank you for the free resource NetGalley!

This book was very helpful in learning tips and tricks for using netgalley! I think that readers will be able to utilize the tools given to them in this book to help further their book reviewing.

Good beginner resource! I will keep as a reference to return to. Recommend to newbies to NetGalley to check out

I love this tool kit! There is a lot of good tips and tricks in here. I really enjoyed reading the book review tips and reminders. I loved that they included a review example in there.

Okay, where was this when I started on NetGalley and had no idea what I was doing and killed my feedback ratio by over-requesting??!!
This book is seriously helpful, so many great tips about how to get the most out of NetGalley. Plus little insider tricks (like what the orange bookmark means on your reviews and how to save publishers you love). All of it was super helpful, I will definitely be saving this as a resource to reference when I have a question.
If you are new to NetGalley, or trying to get your account started up again. I highly recommend downloading this and giving it a read. It's super quick, easy to digest, and filled with helpful tips and tricks!

A great and easy to understand guide on all things NetGalley and how to review. If you're new to NetGalley, I recommend giving this guide look... if you're an old hand on hear it's a great refresher.

Very helpful information I plan to utilize! I haven't been using this resource to its full potential, but I hope to be better.

This was super helpful to get started on NetGalley and on bookstagram! As someone new to both, understanding expectations of publishers, guidelines for sharing information about books, and tips for reviews were great tools to get started. I got approved for my first few books and I’m excited to dive in.

The guide gives helpful hints on how to set up your profile. There is a link to an article written by a publisher about what they actually look at in your profile to determine if you receive an ARC. It was very interesting and I changed my profile. I only rate this book a 4 because the information was brief and did not create a clear format for writing a review.

I was looking for specific tips on starting a bookstagram, how to write reviews and post on social media. This was a helpful "101" guide, along with the social media toolkit. I

This is an incredibly valuable resource for both new and experienced reviewers. Its clear, practical guidance on writing reviews, utilizing social media, and connecting with publishers has made my experience as a reviewer more effective and enjoyable. I particularly appreciate the tips on structuring reviews, balancing honesty with professionalism, and how to emphasize a book’s strengths without glossing over weaknesses.
The social media strategies were especially helpful, offering actionable advice on increasing engagement and reaching a broader audience. As someone sharing book recommendations on Instagram, I’ve already seen a noticeable improvement in how my posts resonate with my audience.
One suggestion for future updates might be to include more templates or examples of reviews across different genres. Having a variety of examples for genres like literary fiction, historical fiction, or thrillers would make the toolkit even more tailored and accessible. Additionally, more insights into emerging platforms like BookTok could keep the toolkit aligned with the latest trends in book advocacy.
Overall, this toolkit feels like an essential companion for anyone looking to grow as a reviewer and make the most of their NetGalley experience. Thank you for such a thoughtful and comprehensive guide!

This is such a helpful resource for people new to reviewing books! The information is presented in a way that’s easy to take in and understand.

I downloaded this after taking a hiatus from doing reviews and my book social media accounts. I wanted to pick up some tips to refresh my skills. This toolkit is well-laid out and even helpful for a long time reviewer. After reading it, I updated my bio in NetGalley and updating how I do reviews. I'm going to be less stressed out about pumping out reviews now and I'll get them done quicker!
Thank you NetGalley in renewing my motivation to give better reviews and stay consistent with this!

Great guide for those beginning their journey as a book reviewer and advocate. Includes great tips and advice for growing your online presence in book world.

I find it so hard to crop pictures to size for Instagram posts and hoped this would help but it directs me to Canva and I am clearly not very Insta friendly! Thanks though! :) I'm sure it works for most.

Another great tool from NetGalley! I loved how easily things were broken down and the great info provided on how to make the most of the eARC experience! Thanks again, NetGalley!

Very helpful guide especially since this site looks like it was made in 1999 and hasn't been touched since. There are some helpful tips in here.

This is very useful content for anyone starting out or interested in developing their book advocacy skills.
Easy-to-read content with great advice included. I only wish I had found this earlier!

This toolkit is a fantastic resource for readers to familiarize themselves with the Netgalley website and app. Even users who have been on the platform for some time will likely find some information that they did not know previously. I recommend this toolkit for all Netgalley users and reviewers. The sooner you download this on your Netgalley journey, the better!
