This is a wonderful resource for not only NetGalley, but for all bookish accounts you might have to help promote various books and authors. When I first saw a post about NetGalley for ARC reads in one of my book groups, I had no idea what to do or how to get started. This quick guide has all of the info you'll need for making a profile with relevant details, and how to get your hands on some ARCs! I'm headed over to my profile to make some changes that this guide suggested and get to organizing my shelves!

This was a great way to familiarize myself with NetGalley and understand my responsibility when agreeing to read and give feedback on books. I also loved the examples and screenshots that provided a great representation of what is expected. I'm excited to continue my NetGalley journey and hopefully grow my profile and receive advance copies of books that are projected to be popular.

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is for everyone, new members and more practiced reviewers alike. There are tips here about writing reviews and what to do if you are stuck (you long time reviewers will want to read this). There’s something for everyone here and the advice is good. If you take it, of course. “Your feedback ratio is impacted when you’re approved for a book so it’s wise not to request too many at once.” I just can’t help myself. Sigh…5 stars.

This guide was a helpful tool for getting my NetGalley account started. I now know how to leave reviews, create a better profile, and how to navigate the site better. It was very useful and I will probably refer back to it again!

As someone new to NetGalley I found this Toolkit very helpful and comprehensive. From how to put your page in a dark mode, to navigating the website, requesting books and writing reviews. There was a lot of useful information like what to do if you have to DNF the book, or cannot leave feedback, etc. Highly recommend for anyone starting on NetGalley!

This toolkit really helped me get a better understanding of how Netgalley works. Everything was explained in a very clear way. It laid out how to start your Netgalley profile all the way to how to write a review for the books you get approved to read. I would recommend this toolkit to every beginner and also even seasoned reviewers as well.

After being curious about this handbook for a while, I can say with certainty that the ten minutes it took to read it were well spent. This is worth checking out for anyone new to book reviewing or NetGalley, but it's also helpful if you want to improve the quality of your reviews or profiles. For a short book, it packs a big informational punch. My favorite aspect was the user friendly the layout. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to brush up on the finer points of reviewing.

This toolkit was helpful extremely helpful for someone like me, just starting out using the NetGalley platform. I was initially very overwhelmed at the different requirements and steps to be a reviewer, but this succinct toolkit provided me with a vast amount of information. I love how it was laid out, and especially appreciated the detailed examples.

This is a wonderful and helpful guide that I wish I had read before my first request spree! I instantly used several tips in hope to take my book advocacy to the next level. I strong recommend reading this guide to both new and seasoned reviewers. It contains many links to additional information and videos that are worth the time to read and watch.
