Very helpful insight for using Netgalley and making the most of the service! Features many helpful tips to get started and avoid newbie Netgalley mistakes. I liked the example provided for how to review as sometimes I get writers block when it comes to finally writing up the review for a book I've read.

I appreciate how informative it is, and just learning more about how to be able to be a more effective reviewer!

This Toolkit was super handy and gave me all the info I needed to tailor my profile as a bookseller. I will definitely be referring back to it as I continue my Netgalley journey.

"Netgalley reviews are feedback for publishers" I had to let that one sink in for a minute. I thought the primary reason was to create buzz, I learn everyday.
The information on app features and publishers is a game changer, it felt like I was getting cheat codes. It's up-to-date with changes in social media platforms which is amazing for staying relevant.
If you don't read this you are only wasting your own time.

Succinct intro to NetGalley and reviewing, highly recommended to newbies, and even if you've been here a little while, there still might be one or two new bits of info / features. A breezy read in its language, and a good length at 31p.

This is a very helpful tool in creating an effective Netgalley account! Upon reading this book, I am now more comfortable with all aspects of this site, and how to effectively use it and ensure my reviews turn out smoothly!

Want to start reading ARCs? This guide was amazing for the steps to take and gave lots of tips and tricks. I have notes made for how to review, rate, and build my NetGalley profile, and cannot wait to take the next steps on this journey!

This is a really useful resource for anyone new to NetGalley! Or even if you’ve been here a while I imagine it is a good refresher, filled with helpful information and tips to have the best experience here.

This guide is perfect for a new user like me. Helps to get my head around the giant world of ARCs. Great resource.

The Netgalley Book Advocate Toolkit was very informative. Teaches you the best way to set up your Netgalley profile. Your bio to what publishers are looking for and gives advice and information for best results. Helpful and I recommend to check out.

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is an amazing resource for those using NetGalley to voice advocating for books on the platform. It gives a breakdown of NetGalley: member types, creating a profile, and requesting books. How to write a review and the process if one does not finish a book and other useful tips and tricks for success. I would recommend to others who wish to start their book advocacy on NetGalley.

This booklet is going to be incredibly helpful as I begin my NetGalley experience. I have already referred back to it a number of times and I imagine I will continue to do so. It’s super handy to have saved for when I need a reminder of something.
Thankyou to We Are Bookish for providing this resource.

This toolkit was a lifesaver for me when beginning my journey with Net Galley. I am excited to use this guide to assist me through my reviews of ARCs in the future!
I look forward to working with many publishers by providing positive and constructive feedback. Most importantly, I am excited to discover new favourite authors!

What a great breakdown of everything you need to know about NetGalley! I loved the information on optimizing your profile and what publishers are looking for in a reviewer. Really great simple graphics that help the info feel concise and easy to follow. I wish I had read this from Day 1 of joining NetGalley!

The Book Advocate Toolkit is a resource I did not realize I needed until I started reading it. Whether you are brand new to NetGalley or already a seasoned reviewer, this guide offers clear, practical, and encouraging advice for making the most out of your membership.
The layout is easy to follow, and the toolkit covers everything from setting up your profile in a professional way, to understanding feedback ratios, to writing thoughtful reviews even when you do not finish a book. I especially appreciated the sections on review writing tips and the Social Media Handbook, which make the process feel approachable and customizable to your own voice. The inclusion of examples, checklists, and linked resources makes this feel comprehensive without ever being overwhelming
.
What stood out most to me was how much emphasis is placed on honesty and individuality. The toolkit does not push you toward a single right way to review; instead, it highlights the importance of finding your voice and sharing it with authenticity. The advice on balancing professionalism with personality is especially useful for reviewers trying to build credibility with publishers while staying true to their own style.
Overall, this guide is a must read for anyone who wants to strengthen their presence on NetGalley. It is approachable, thorough, and full of actionable tips. I will definitely be referring back to it as I continue building my book advocate journey.

This Toolkit is an incredibly helpful guide to using NetGalley and understanding how to write a better profile bio and reviews. The information is clearly laid out and easy to follow. Highly recommend to anyone just starting out on NetGalley!

A perfectly adequate guide to using NetGalley. I'm not a big user of the service, so I did learn some things, but I guess I found the interface already easy enough to use and most of the information in this guide was self-evident to me.
I did appreciate the information in Requesting Books which explained who approves requests, the section on the basics of a good review, and the page on what to do if you don't finish a book (this links out to a website with more information).
Also, the cover and graphics are quite nice.
The book was provided to me free by NetGalley (as it should, seeing as it's a "how to" for their service). All opinions are my own.

I struggle to format reviews, but this gave a very helpful guide! There were a few other things I had learnt despite having used Netgalley for over a year now. Very helpful.
