I got accepted to review this book years ago, but unfortunately never got around to reading it. Apologies for this.

I found this to be a particularly harrowing read. It affected me in a way that I did not expect. I thing Clare Furniss is a very talented writer and I would love to read more of her work. I cannot put into words exactly why this book made me feel so overwhelmingly anxious. I cannot say that I enjoyed it, I struggled through it which is not a criticism of the writing. I just feel like me and this book met each other at the wrong time.
