Had fun exploring this! It’s my first year with a netgalley account and I enjoy a sense of community with other readers generally, so activities like this are always up my alley. I especially enjoy a bingo or checklist to follow! It motivates me immensely as a reader.

This was a fun activity to do in the summer and to learn about books. I especially like doing the bingo and all the activities. I will look for this to do next summer.

I thought this was such a fun idea and then got busy and never ended up participating! I hope to next time.

I am not able to give appropriate feedback on this one as I was not able to participate in the program as I had planned. Instagram was very finicky this summer and I spent a lot of time dealing with that. Maybe next summer!

I was only able to use part of this book. I loved the idea but wish there were more frequent email reminders about how to participate.

I was very confused by this and also simultaneously didn’t have a lot of time. So for that I am giving it 3 stars because I did read it but I also did not have time to fully commit and participate.

This was a fun activity for the summer...wish I did more with it. Maybe next year? Summer is a busy time -maybe better as a spring or fall thing? Idk.

Camp NetGalley Welcome Packet by We Are Bookish was an inspiring initiative to bring the NetGalley community together for some fun during the summer months in the USA.

Unfortunately, I got super busy with readathons and work, so I couldn’t participate as much as I wanted. However, from what I did experience, it was a fantastic way to unite the reading community for some lighthearted fun. I sincerely hope this event returns next year.

This is a really cool packet for us readers who like to add a little extra flair and challenge to our reading goals! Please keep doing things like this in the future, it really takes reading and reading challenges to the next level, makes it fun, and helps me get out of my reading comfort zone!

Thank you for this program. I wish there had been more clarity on how to participate in it. I didn't quite understand what the goals or outcomes were let alone how to achieve them.

This was a fun activity. It took me a minute to figure it all out, but thanks for this activity to add some fun to summer reading!

The Night Guest by Hildur Knutsdottir

This book was so fast-paced and kept me hooked the whole time. I read it all in one sitting. It was very suspenseful and I couldn’t put it down.

The main character is always waking up exhausted, as if she hadn’t slept the whole night. She keeps waking up to mysterious aches and bruises. As the story progresses, it gets even creepier.

While I absolutely loved the storyline, the quick chapters, and the humor of the main character, the ending left something to be desired. I was ready to give this 5 stars until I was left thoroughly lost in the end. Despite that, I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a quick, suspenseful horror.

This was such a great idea but sadly I couldn't fully participate this time but hope to if you do it again.

Thank you Netgalley for such a fun event!! I got so much reading done.. I loved all the prompts and interactions. From the bingo board to the counselors and which cabin you will be in due to your favorite genre. Can’t wait for next year.
