Thank you for allowing me to read and review.
Having read all of Debbie Macomber’s books, I was really looking forward to reading this Book
Must Love Flowers.
This book was well written and drew the reader straight in.
The story follows Joan who takes Maggie in who is having a rough time at home. It was so refreshing to see what can happen if the right people meet at the right times in there life.
This book was fantastic I can’t wait to see if we revisit in the future

Book Review: Must Love Flowers
I recently had the pleasure of reading Must Love Flowers by Debbie Macomber, and it was everything I hoped for and more. This heartwarming novel is a beautiful exploration of love, friendship, and new beginnings, set against the backdrop of blooming gardens and second chances.
Joan Sample is a character I instantly connected with. After spending too many birthdays in solitude, she decides it’s time to shake things up. I admired her journey from recluse to someone embracing life, even if it meant tackling her overgrown lawn and inviting a new tenant into her home. It felt inspiring to watch her step out of her comfort zone, and I found myself rooting for her every step of the way.
Maggie Herbert, the young woman who rents Joan’s spare room, adds another layer to the story. Her struggles with her family dynamics and her hectic life as a student and barista are relatable. When I discovered that she was living in her nemesis's childhood room, the tension and humor were palpable. The way their initial animosity slowly transforms into a genuine friendship was one of my favorite aspects of the book. It reminded me of the beauty of unlikely connections.
Macomber’s writing shines when it comes to depicting the evolution of relationships. The interactions between Joan and Maggie are filled with warmth and wit, making their bond feel authentic. Additionally, Joan’s budding romance with a local landscaper added a delightful layer of sweetness and hope to the narrative.
The themes of love and friendship permeate every page, making Must Love Flowers a truly uplifting read. I appreciated how the story addresses the challenges of opening up to others while also emphasizing the rewards of taking those risks.
Overall, this novel is an absolute gem. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a cozy, feel-good story that celebrates the joys of connection and the unexpected paths love can take. I couldn’t put it down, and I left with a smile on my face and a renewed appreciation for life’s possibilities. I highly recommend it!

This was the perfect book to kick of my summer holiday reading, and I managed to devour it between the airport and the flight!
It's always a sheer pleasure to curl up with a Debbie Macomber novel and she has certainly struck gold once again wtih this novel.
Joan is four years on from losing her husband, still deep in grief but is starting to realise she needs to change her life.
Whereas Maggie is young, studying nursing and dealing with an alcoholic father. She is desperate to move out, and Joan is compelled to have Maggie as a boarder once she learns to Maggie's situation.
Between them, a kind hearted gardener, and Edison who is utterly adorable, wounds start to mend, and both ladies are richer for having met each other.
This is s heart warming story of female friendship and second chances, and it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling to read it.
Thank you to Sphere and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

So ecstatic when I realised there was a new Debbie Macomber out and she hasn’t lost her touch at all, this is another fantastic story, full of relatable and likeable characters, an interesting story you won’t want to put down. Looking forward to more, if I’m lucky

Another lovely book from Debbie Macomber. Joan has been grieving for her husband and the life they should have had. Maggie is trying to find a place to live where she isn’t worrying about the bills and her father when the two meet they help each other start to live again. A great read with heart

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
I enjoyed reading this book.
Joan lost her husband and Maggie is living with her father, but wants to find alternative living accommodation.
She moves in with Joan and they help each other with their problems and become great friends.
I couldn’t put this book down, the characters were all likeable, and some you could relate to.
The topic of grief was written in a way that was true to life.
I recommend this book.

Well I am really glad that Debbie Macomber found retirement boring, because this book was lovely. Basically read it in one go. Well written characters and an interesting story. Quite a hard subject to write about, but it is handled brilliantly. Must read some more of her books

This story follows Joan and Maggie who are both at different times of their lives but become great friends and really help each other.
The book was a joy to read and I couldn’t put it down. The characters are all likeable especially Joan and I felt that the subject of grief while a tough one is written about in a realistic and touching manner.. The romance as always is an added bonus but does not take over the story.
I would definitely recommend this book.
Thanks to NetGalley, Debbie Macomber and Little Brown Book Group UK for an advance copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

What a brilliant book to come out of retirement to write, it's so well written. Lots of trigger topics grief, sudden death, losing a child and alcoholism. All handled with care and obviously greatly researched
Loved it. Thank you netgalley for the advance copy
