Wow what a fast paced thriller this was I was gripped from the first chapter and could not put it down. The characters were so well written I was so invested in how it was all going to be for them. I loved the family drama and the suspense throughout. I will definitely be recommending the great book to everyone. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my advanced copy.

Ahhhhh so many twists! It just kept coming and coming though a couple I was able to predict! Such a good thriller and I read in one sitting on a Sunday.

I was able to finish this one in about two days. I absolutely enjoyed it. I did predict one of the twists, but the twists kept coming. Very good and I’d definitely recommend to my audience. #netgalley

This was another great thriller by Nicola Marsh. Twist after shocking twist this was a fast paced book that I couldn't stop reading. Domestic fiction at it's finest!
Family will protect family at any cost and this is the theme of this book. Told from multiple POV'S and in the past and present we get to know each character and what lengths they will go to protect their own.
Main characters Brooke, Lizzie, Noel and supporting character Alice all have secrets that are about to unwind and cause major upheaval. Not all are keeping secrets for a good reason. Someone's secrets will have dire consequences.
Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the advanced copy of this book

This book had me hooked at times but unfortunately I was able to figure out the twist pretty quickly. It was a well written book, but not as gripping as I hoped

This book has lots of twists. I figured some stuff out along the way but it didn't deter me from finishing. I liked the characters in the story. I'll be looking for more books by Marsh.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for ARC.

This book was slow to start but if you stick with it you will not be disappointed. A few twists and turns and a shocking ending.

I really, really wanted to give this book more stars! It started out really good... I kept looking for the answer to questions that I feel like I didn't get on the sisters side of things. And, I knew immediately something was off with the MMC. I figured it out very early on.
There were some parts that had me hurrying through to find out what was going on but overall it was just okay.
Thank you Bookouture and net galley for access to this ARC for my honest opinion.

Thank you NetGalley and Bookoture for this Arc. As much as I would like to say I was enthralled by this book. Honestly I almost put it down multiple times as a DNF. I pushed through and it was not as thrilling as I hoped.
The overall premise was good but I guessed everything that was going to happen. It wasn’t a mystery the more I read. The characters were calculated but not to the point where there was an aha moment or something that took your breath away.
It could have been great but Noel’s character was very predictable.

Absolutely amazing from beginning to we! This one had me completely hooked! I loved the way it was told from multiple POVs helping add depth to the storyline.

Excellent! A fast paced thriller that kept me guessing until the very end. I finished the book in one day; I just had to know how it ended. I cannot wait for more from this author. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

I wanna thank NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
this book had me hooked at times and wanting to know what the hell was going on.. but as i was reading on, I figured everything out which wasn’t surprising to me in the slightest. The minute we met Noel, I knew something was off and I got it instantly. Still very creepy at times while reading so points for that sure. But not as gripping as it could of been..
2.5-3⭐️

Oh my god this book… it literally has me lost for words!
It is absolutely fantastic, full of gripping twists and suspense. It will definitely have you on the edge of your seat.
So many times I was scared for the main character throughout, and I was terrified of what was going to happen next.
No doubt about it this is going straight to the top of the charts!

My Sister's Boyfriend by new to me author N. Marsh, published by Bookouture is a gripping pageturner when I ever saw one.
Lizzie and Brook, her sister and Brooke's boyfriend Noel. Lizzie is a psychologist meets Noel, the newly released ex-con. And surprise, he's her sister's new boyfriend. Something about him just isn't right and Lizzie gets suspicious. Told in multiple povs - not my fav but fitting, the story is a bit hard to follow. Plot twists at large, twists and turns that had my head spinning and the furious finale oh my.
A fabtastic read, 4,5 stars

A good read that held my interest in the storyline with excellent characters that added to the story.
Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for this ARC which I can thoroughly recommend.

wow! this was an absolute page turner. I read this in 2 sittings. Which easily could have been 1 if I didn’t pick it up late the first time. I don’t want to say much more because I don’t want to give away any spoilers but the twists in this book kept coming and coming! It did take me a second to realize who all the characters were and how they were connected to eachother but other than that it was an easy quick read and I would absolutely recommend anyone who likes thrillers/ mystery’s to pick this up!

Really great read. Wasnt clear that the book qas the 2nd in a series. Liked it so much though, that i went back and read the first. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

What a thrilling read, I loved it. The suspense and world building are unmatched. I quickly began to feel for the characters and at times wanted to shout my opinion into my kindle.

summary:
This book is about two sisters, Brooke and Lizzie. When Brooke starts dating an ex-convict, Noel, Lizzie is admittedly concerned, having met Noel as part of her job working as an art therapy psychologist for the local correctional facility. While Lizzie gets to know Noel better, more red flags go up as she begins to wonder what his motivations are with Brooke, and if there’s more to it than just a casual relationship.
The story alternates POV’s between Brooke, Lizzie and Noel, both pre-incarceration and now. There are a LOT of secondary characters - Brooke’s housekeeper/Noel’s roommate Hazel, Brooke’s daughter Hope, her birth father, Noel’s brother, etc. which makes it a little hard to follow. There are a lot of backstories as well that are hard to keep up with, so highly recommend reading this book when you’re able to pay close attention! The plot moves quickly though which is great, and keeps you guessing on where it’s heading. The ending came as a COMPLETE surprise to me — I didn’t see it coming at all, which is the best kind of finish. My only complaint is that I felt like all of the sisters were fairly unlikeable, and I couldn’t find myself rooting for them the way I wanted to.
Thanks to Bookouture and Net Galley for the advanced copy! For a quick thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat, check this book out when it releases on September 9!

Thrilling, quick paced read. Categorized as a psychological thriller, I was absolutely captivated by the family drama. There’s plenty in this book! The authors writing kept me intrigued from start to finish. I found myself guessing scenarios all throughout and found myself invested in the characters. I’m looking forward to reading the authors other works.
The story centers around Brooke, Lizzie, and Noel . Noel was recently released from prison and begins dating Brooke. Lizzie has doubts about him, but with all they’ve been through, will Brooke listen to her sister’s warnings? Noel has been honest about his past, but does Brooke really know the man she’s dating?
