These Logan sisters are not to be messed with. This is the third attempt on this trio and oh boy what a ride!!

I was in fear for Annie’s life. Even from the weirdo in Italy, I was worried what was in store for my main character. As with her sisters’ stories, I knew this would be a bumpy ride but I didn’t know which way we were headed as Annie headed stateside.

The backdrop of the swampy bayou made for an unnerving location. The scenes within the mist, the victims found within river added to the atmospheric feel to this read.

Over the series, Peggy Webb has a knack to develop fear in this reader. The characters she’s carefully crafted have a level of vulnerability but they are a feisty bunch and when they’re together, they are a force to be reckoned with. They are bound by their abilities and sisterly love – they’re just brilliant. Without A Trace is atmospheric, addictive and intense – a cracking way to meet the final sister properly. I really hope there is more to this series!!

"Without A Trace" resumes the gripping series of the Logan Sisters, with the focus on the youngest sister. Her Creole roots heighten her awareness of the perils hidden within the Louisiana bayou. Driven by an innate curiosity, she finds herself entangled in a sinister web of murder, secrets, and deception. The story follows her from Italy to the Louisiana bayou. There she faces a murderer intent determined to destroy her while leaving behind a path strewn with corpses. This installment promises to keep readers thoroughly engaged with its suspenseful plot twists.

"Without A Trace" marks the exhilarating finale of the Logan Sisters series. In this gripping installment, Annie Logan, an artist living in Italy, ventures to her mother's hometown where she embarks on a quest to unearth long-buried family secrets. While on this quest, she finds herself embroiled in a treacherous mission. A mission where she attempts to stop a stalker/killer who preys on young girls, who bear an uncanny appearance to Annie herself. The author delivered a tale filled with suspense and mystery. A story where Annie unearths the secrets of her family's past while trying to prevent a sinister outcome.

The story was a rollercoaster of suspense and danger, skillfully crafted to keep the reader on the edge of their seat. While the identity of the killer became apparent quite early, the plot's twists and turns captivated me until the very last page. The anticipation of the murderer's subsequent actions kept me thoroughly invested in the story.

Diving into this book without spoilers is a must. It's a journey that should be embarked upon with fresh eyes. Readers of books one and two will find themselves captivated by the unexpected twists. Also, the revelation of family secrets will leave them eager for more.

'Without A Trace' delivers a thrilling ride from start to finish, concluding the series with a skillful touch. Readers will find themselves on the edge of their seats, eagerly turning pages until the very end. This book not only provides an exhilarating experience but also ties up the story threads in a satisfying conclusion.

This is book 3 in the Logan Sisters series. This book was so good ! I love a combination of romance and suspense/thriller. Loved the setting. Im a huge fan of settings in Louisiana. You can read this as a standalone but I recommend to read the others to get a better background. Peggys writing makes you feel like you are there with them.

I love the Logan sisters! Each story is focused on a different sister. It’s been great getting to know each one individually in this very addictive thriller series! Youngest sister, Annie’s book is gripping read & was exciting to have characters from the series back for this third installment.

Thank you, Peggy Web, Bookouture, & netgalley for my copy. All opinions are my own.

Without a Trace is the third, explosive installment in the Logan Sisters series and my favourite to date.

This time round it's Annie's story and what a story it was! Annie has herself a stalker, with all of their victims resembling her - creepy or what?

It's a fast paced, exciting read that's high on suspense and is guaranteed to get your pulse pounding. The characters were fantastic and I found the sisters (and their gift) such easy characters to become invested in.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this eARC.

Without A Trace by Peggy Webb is a gripping addition to the Logan Sisters Thrillers series, delivering a potent mix of suspense, family dynamics, and psychological intrigue. The story centers around Annie Logan, who finds herself ensnared in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a menacing figure known only as Shadow. Webb masterfully crafts a narrative that keeps readers on the edge of their seats, blending the eerie atmosphere of the Louisiana bayou with the palpable tension of a relentless pursuit.

The Logan sisters, each with their unique strengths and vulnerabilities, are compelling protagonists. Their bond is tested as they rally together to protect Annie and unravel the mystery behind Shadow’s identity. Webb’s portrayal of their relationships adds depth to the thriller, making the stakes feel intensely personal and the characters’ struggles relatable.

The pacing of the novel is relentless, with twists and turns that are surprising and satisfying. Webb’s ability to maintain suspense while developing her characters is commendable, ensuring that readers are invested in the plot and in the emotional journeys of the Logan sisters.

For fans of psychological thrillers and family sagas, Without A Trace offers a well-crafted narrative that balances heart-pounding action with emotional depth. It’s a testament to Peggy Webb’s skill as a storyteller that she can weave such a complex and engaging tale, leaving readers eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series.

Reading Between the Wines book review #88/130 for 2024:
Book Tour!!
Rating: 4 🍷🍷🍷🍷
Book: Without a Trace
Author: Peggy Webb
Available now!! Released on September 10, 2024!

Sipping thoughts: This is my first Logan Sisters book and now I am wondering why I missed the first two! This book was so jam packed with mystery, suspense and twists. I am not a big romance reader but when you put it with a lot of thrills and killings then sign me up, lol. It definitely was not overdone, and I appreciated how Webb did not have it overly mushy or dramatic. I am a sucker for series so if you are looking for an edge of seat twisty thriller, you should try this one.

Cheers and thank you to @Bookouture and @Netgalley for an advanced copy of @WithoutATrace.

WOW WOW WOW! This book blew me away!

After reading the previous two books in this series I was so excited to get stuck into this and my goodness it did not disappoint.

The characters are fantastic, the storyline itself you will be hooked on. This book is absolutely jam packed with twists and turns which will keep you gripped and unable to put this book down.

This author sure knows how to write bestsellers and I can definitely see this book going straight to the top of the charts.

This is the second book I've read in this series and this was just as good, if not better. There are plenty of twists to unravel to find out who is actually committing the murders. The romance is just enough that it doesn't become a slushy romance as some books can be. I also like the way the sisters look out for one another. A good read in my opinion

This one was the best of the series! I loved the setting. Annie finally gets her story. We meet new, intriguing characters. There's plenty of suspense. The ending was perfect. Although, I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to the Logan sisters!

This is one of those stories that grabs you at the beginning and keeps you guessing until the end. Annie is drawn to return to New Orleans and soon finds that now only does she have a stalker but there is also a serial killer whose victims share a strong resemblance to her. In addition, she finds her grandfather (her mother's dad) along with potential "family" another secret. The story is filled with danger not only for Annie but also those close to her. The setting in the swamp adds to suspense. There were some twists that I didn't see coming.

Without A Trace is book three in the Logan Sisters thriller series by Peggy Webb.
I enjoyed the heck out of book one and two! And her newest title was no different.
This is a fast paced, edge of your seat story that holds your interest from the first page to the last.
I love a story that will keep me on the edge of my seat the whole time and pull me in right away and this book did just that.

Another thrilling page turner in the Logan Sisters Thrillers series by Peggy Webb!!! Woohoo! Without A Trace is brimming with atmosphere, tension, dread and danger! I was so excited to see that there was another book in the series, this time featuring Annie, who has traveled to Louisiana, her mother's birthplace. There she will use her senses (all the Logan sisters have unique gifts/senses) to not only try to get in touch with her Creole heritage but to find Shadow, the killer of young women who resemble her.

There in the bayou, family secrets are waiting below the surface for their chance to see the light of day. Will Annie be able to uncover all the secrets from the past, will she be taking on more than she can handle, what revelations await her??? Those were questions swirling through my mind as I dove into this gripping and shocking mystery.

Without A Trace features Annie but readers will be happy to see the other Logan sisters (Rachel and Jen) in this book as well as their grandmother, Victoria! As I mentioned, each has her own special gift handed down by their Creole mother. I loved learning the family secrets, while hoping the killer is caught.

While this book could work very well as a stand-alone, I do highly recommend reading the other books in the series as you will learn more about the sisters, their gifts, their connection, and the wonderful mysteries in each of their books.

As with the other books in this series, this book was well written, well thought out, atmospheric, tense, and gripping. Plus, the vivid descriptions had me feeling as if I were right there in the Bayou with Annie.

Twists and Turns Keep You Guessing

This gripping mystery hooks you from the start as Annie Logan discovers her connection to a string of murders. With each twist, the suspense builds, leaving you wondering who the killer is and if Annie will be next.

The eerie Louisiana bayou setting adds to the tension as Shadow, the elusive killer, seems to be everywhere. The twists keep you guessing as Annie's fear grows and her options shrink.

Annie’s bond with her sisters and grandmother adds warmth to the story as they race to stop the killer. With plenty of surprises, this novel keeps you hooked until the final, shocking twist. Highly recommended! 4.5 stars.

Finally, it’s Annie’s story.
Webb pulls out all the stops for this final Logan sister mystery.
The swamps of the bayou around New Orleans slither with creatures that lurk in the shadows, even the two legged kind.
I was poleaxed by a major revelation in the book and eagerly read to flesh out the details.
I was fairly certain who the sinister Shadow was and I was correct.
Victoria with her huge truck careens herself into the story and that was my favorite part because she’s my favorite character In this series.
Expect the unexpected from this book!

Without A Trace is book three in the Logan Sisters Thrillers series. Definitely recommend reading this trilogy in order. So much back story to the sisters to know about.
Three sisters with the “gift” inherited from their Creole mother…..each having their own unique gift.
The setting is the steamy bayous of New Orleans.
Younger sister, Annie, uncovers a family secret.
Will the sisters be able to unravel this family secret?
Secrets
Lies
And, a killer
So many twists and turns!
So many jaw-dropping moments!

Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture and the author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This chilling and utterly compelling story is one of those books which grabs your attention from the very beginning. The author has really got into her characters minds and explored the different emotions.
I love this genre and found this to be one of the best books I have read in a while. I was kept guessing throughout, never quite sure which way the story would go until the end. Absolutely brilliant read
