Fun, laugh out loud book, that I found hard to put down. Really enjoyed this book, have recommended it to a number of friends who enjoy this genre. .

This is such a cute easy read,
First I would definitely adopt Louise she’s my kind of cat.
I loved the animal shelter my heart breaks for them
I liked Bev and Nate they were adorable with their banter and dislike for each other.
Some of my favourite tropes were in this book which made it so much fun to read.
I sat in the garden today and read the whole thing.
Perfect summer read.

There is Bev who works at the Melody Bay Animal Shelter and she has a new intern but is also trying to get her promotion. Her intern is Nick Hart a rock star and he was a local at one time and returned, he got caught with something and now is an intern and not on tour anymore. maybe this is their second chance. The side characters contributed significantly to the story, adding more depth to the story.
