Thanks to NetGalley for the copy! Wished is a light, whimsical romance with a magical twist, but it didn’t quite land for me. The characters felt a bit too tropey—grumpy billionaire and sunshine heroine—and the plot shifted so quickly it felt a bit dreamlike. It was a fun, easy read, but I’m not sure I’ll continue with the series.

4.5 stars! I liked this one a lot!! I’m so glad Max got his happy ending after the last book. I enjoyed the magical realism plot in this one with making wishes, and thought it was super cute. Thank you NetGalley, Sarah Ready, and Swift & Lewis Publishing LLC for the ARC.

I actually really enjoyed this. After not loving the first book in the series, this was a breath of fresh air. It was cute, fun, swoony and moved at a great pace. Definitely recommend.
I received an advance review copy for free from the publisher via Netgalley and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Loved loved loved it! Sarah Ready is just awesome as an author. Always Loving her books. You know what you get when reading one by her. Funny, cozy, heartwarming, romantic love story. Recommend!!!

It was my first read of Sarah Readys and I enjoyed it. The author was very creative in her writing and the story was cute and light-hearted.

I really enjoyed reading this. I found this entire series to be a fun play on "freaky friday"-esque themes to be so fun and on point. I think that the characters were fun to read about and I really enjoyed the development.

Loved the magical realism of this book. Would have liked a little more depth to the romance personally. This was my first book from this author. Would read more!

It's an ARC... When does it Release? It's out now - Snag a copy for yourself! (October 2 2024)
How did I pick this up: I have thoroughly enjoyed Sarah Ready's books and they are so fun to read. When I saw all of these on Read Now, I snagged them up to read!
Short Yet Sweet Review: As the fourth book in the series, I knew I was stepping into a world of magical realism and was so excited to see how the final story all came together. Max, who we met in book 3 and who's family runs a jewelry company, has had Anna as a house cleaner for a while during which time she has fallen in love with the man who doesn't even know she exists. That is, until one magical wish in which Anna becomes Max's wife! But is the love that Anna's searching for worth it when she knows it's only because of her wish? Is this new life hers forever and does she even want it any more?
Sarah Ready really does a great job in combining magic, romance and beautiful places. She's the perfect vacation read and palette cleanser when you just want to enjoy the book you're reading in a new place. Even better, I was able to read this one in just one day - I couldn't put it down because the premise of making a wish come true was just so good. I'm disappointed that there are no more characters to join this little series but I'm already looking forward to Ready's next books. If you're interested in just picking up a standalone, I would support any book in this series. You could think of this as 4 stories told in the same universe with friends in book 1 & 2 and friends in book 3&4.

Thank you to Netgalley for a copy of this book!
I loved the idea of Wished - its a cute little contemporary romance with a magical twist but I'm not sure if it just wasn't for me.
In the beginning Max seemed to be the stereotypical billionaire grump that a lot of books seem to have. Anna is more down to earth but the sunshine I'll make everything better character that always goes with a grumpy MMC.
I felt as though there was a lot of quick changes to the plot which kept my attention but all of the changes happening over night reminded me of school being told we weren't supposed to use the "was it a dream?" plot point.
Overall a quick and easy read which didn't take much focus to follow which was nice after a couple of bigger books but I'm just not sure if the rest of the series is for me!

Wished is the fourth book in the Ghosted series, but it can be read as a standalone.
Anna had been cleaning Max’s house for years, and he never really noticed her. He was cold, cruel and really not interested in love. But a wish Anna made changed everything.
This was very insta-love, despite Max not wanting anything to do with a relationship. He was practically forced into it because of Anna’s wish. And from there, his attitude toward her changed.
This was cute, but I didn’t really feel the connection between Max and Anna. Sure, they spent time together during her “wish,” but it wasn’t that much time. And I didn’t get how Max could fall so fast when he had been so cruel before the wish.
I still enjoyed this story and all the magical realism aspects.

It was a really interesting romance, that honestly was very fast paced in the most perfect way. There were both sweet swoonworthy and funny moments, I just need to be back in my romance era to give this the full four stars.

I love the idea of this book and you know Sarah ready will write a book that you will love.this one is no exception, brilliant from start to finish

At first I was gonna DNF this one when I was reading the ebook off Netgalley but then found the audiobook and I highly recommend listening to the audiobook as the narrators and the way they read the book makes the book a better experience.
It was an interesting read for me as I don't read "magical" romance much, and the concept of the whole book was a bit unrealistic and absurd to me but that's just my opinion. I have to say, the way the author kept adding plot points made the ending a bit less unpredictable and it had me slightly curious. The pace at which they fell in love and the fact that they even loved each other was also a bit out there for me and didn't make much sense. In my opinion, it was all a bit too unrealistic and I didn't see any chemistry besides physical and those made-up years they had together. Some more depth would have been nice, a good fleshed-out emotional connection and understanding. Not the worst of the worst but also not the best. Reflecting on my experience I just don't think this one is for me.

The synopsis of this book enticed me, but I didn't know what I was diving into. Anna and Max's romance had me hooked from the beginning. I was slightly disappointed by how fast the romance was insta-lovey and felt hurried. I loved the exploration of wishing for something you want and getting it, then questioning if that's what you wanted.

What would you do if you woke up one day to find you were married to the man of your dreams? Would you be happy or would you give it back if you knew deep down it's not what the other person would want? After Anna makes a wish on a necklace whilst cleaning her bosses house she wakes up to find he's her husband of seven years and she has everything she ever wanted but does Max want it to or is she going to have to make one of the hardest decisions of her life?
Sarah Ready has an addictive way of writing and I know when I pick up one of her books I'm going to read it in one sitting. This was a perfect conclusion to this series and I put off reading it for so long as I didn't want the series to end. I loved Anna and Max and seeing their growth and them both realising their similarities in their lonliness and longing for something more. This was entertaining I loved the magical realism and answering the question of what would you do if you got everything you wished for? I liked that we got to see how the other characters were getting on in the epilogue. Highly recommend.

“I guess you’ve forgotten. I’m being nice because I like you.”
“I think I finally understand why Max avoids passion. He’s an unlit powder keg, and one stray spark will cause a massive, city-destroying explosion.”

“Anna… I wished for you.”
“I want to love you for the rest of my life. You said your love was exponential. I know how you feel.”
“A wave of love nearly knocks me over at the sight of her. I don’t know how I got so lucky.”

while I loved the passion between Anna and Max, I struggled keeping up with the timeline between all their wishes and changes to what they've wished for. Love at first sight is such a fun trope when it was real for both sides of the couple. It was lovely to see they did love each other in each wish change, but keeping it all the changes straight was hard.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC. I LOVED this! It felt fresh and exciting. I loved the story, too!

This was another beautiful love story in this wonderful series by this author. She never disappoints and I adored that ending. Also, the narrators were fantastic all throughout the 4 books.

I wasn't able to finish this book due to personal circumstances, but I enjoyed the storyline of Anna and Max. I am just like Anna and a hopless romantic.
