This was a cute, sweet, simple holiday story that didn't drown in the Christmas joy. The characters were likable and the plot was minimal, so it goes down easy if you're looking for something like that. I see now that this was the fourth in a series. I was able to follow it without any prior knowledge of the first three books.

I read an ARC of this book from NetGalley. All comments are my own.

Another instalment from Juniper Meadows - and with a Christmas theme which is always wonderful escapism. With this series the only criticism I can make is the sheer number of characters, I'm pleased there was a glossary to help at the beginning. But I enjoy this author's work & I wasn't disappointed with this one. Thank you Netgalley for the advanced copy.

Single dad Dylan has been estranged from his father for years. He has made a life in the United States. Wanting to learn about their father's side of the family, his children ask him to take them back to his childhood home in the Cotswolds for the holidays.

A year after her divorce, Sadie's children it's time for her to get out and start living her life again. They treat her to a special holiday at Juniper Meadows in the Cotswolds to enjoy their Twelve Days of Christmas celebration.

Dylan's homecoming is more welcoming than he might have expected and he finds himself caught up in the Christmas events. With a little push from his kids, he finds himself spending time Sadie. He finds a caring, fun loving woman with whom he shares a lot in common. Neither Dylan nor Sadie thought to find a special someone during their visit, but Christmas is a time for miracles.

I love a good holiday romance. The setting for this story is idyllic. This sweet romance is full of good feelings and holiday joy. Dylan's homecoming is handled with care and flows naturally and never feels forced. Dylan and Sadie are, of course, perfect for each other. Grab a nice hot chocolate, a warm blanket and settle in for this sweet Christmas romance.

Another great story from Juniper Meadows. This time we follow the return of youngest brother Dylan as well as Sadie who is spending the Christmas holiday after splitting from her long time husband. Fun story and characters. Not a ton of the other characters but still very good.

4.5 Stars: Snow is Falling is the 4th and final book in the Juniper Meadows series by Sarah Bennett. In this book, Dylan, the prodigal son, returns home. Dylan moved to the States when his brother married the girl he loved. He married, had two children and divorced. It is Christmas time and his children would like to meet their family, so Dylan agrees to take them to spend Christmas. There are a few bumps along the way, but everything can't go perfect after all that time. Meanwhile, Sadie Bingham is recently divorced from her cheating husband, and her children decide to give her a getaway for Christmas. She is going to spend two weeks at Juniper Meadows and enjoy all that goes with it. As Dylan deals with his past, and Sadie tries to figure out what is next in her future, they bond and just maybe, might make a go of things together.

This was a great ending to this series. All the siblings are now back home and trying to figure out what is next for them and Juniper Meadows. There is an eclectic group of people ready to spend time together with the "Twelve Days of Christmas" celebrations and activities. I really enjoyed seeing them bond and welcome each other into their group of friends. Dylan's children are teenagers with all that comes with that, but they also participate and become friendly with the others, especially, Sadie. This was a sweet romance, family bonding, new beginnings and personal growth story. I will say, there was a great ending the I loved. If you enjoy a good Christmas story, with lots of festive activities and great group of characters, then I recommend Snow is Falling.

After her husband leaves her for a younger woman, Sadie Bingham is determined to start anew. In a move to fresh starts all round, Sadie's adult children start a new Christmas tradition of treating Sadie to a solo holiday to Juniper Meadows retreat.

Meanwhile, Dylan Travers, estranged member of the Juniper Meadows family is returning to the family estate with his teenage children. This is a chance for Dylan to repair bonds with his family, and as fate would have it, he and Sadie meet and have *chemistry*.

What follows is a delightful story of a holiday romance, interwoven with family stories of healing and repairing generational trauma. I was at times confused whether this was meant to be Sadie's story or Dylan's, but overall, this was a lovely read.

For those to whom it matters, this was written in 3rd person omniscient narrator; and the sex scenes are closed door.

Overall a nice, cosy read.

~Many thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review~

Sadie is trying to organise her holiday wither husband only to discover that it is not her that he is taking. To treat her, Sadie's children pay for her to have a break over Christmas at Juniper Meadows.
Whilst there she meets Dylan, who is returning to his childhood home after many years.
Another lovely book by Sarah Bennett. Set in the beautiful Cotswolds you are swept up in the picturesque scenery and Christmas ambiance of a country house hotel. Just the sort of place to unwind and make friends.
A fabulous winter set tale that is an easy read.

Snow is Falling is the fourth and sadly final book in the Juniper Meadows series by Bennett.

It's Christmas and there's more than a sprinkle of the Juniper Meadows magic in the air ready for the next unsuspecting couple to be...Sadie and Dylan.

I loved the whole Twelve Days of Christmas package idea and maybe it should be something for communities to consider for those who spend the festive period alone.

The characters are great and it's always nice to catch up. Snow is Falling is a gorgeous festive feel-good fiction full of family, friendships and new beginnings.

This fabulously festive read is the 4th book in the Juniper Meadows series. Although it could very easily be read as a standalone, the entire series has been captivating so I would highly recommend that you read them.

The location of Juniper Meadows, the family seat of the Travers family, and now a successfully family-run luxury hotel and spa with workshops, brewery and camp site is in a fictional location in the Cotswolds. I liked the concept of the twelve days of Christmas event at the hotel, although my little antisocial self would only really enjoy some of the events taking place during the festive season.

I loved the characters of Sadie and Dylan. I do enjoy romances that are second chance romances or later life romance, so this story definitely ticked this box for me. Sadie lacked confidence at the beginning of the story but her character progression was truly enjoyable. Dylan was there to reconcile with his siblings after 30 years in the States, and he was not looking for someone to share his life with, although his teenage children after seeing their mother remarried, wanted the same level of happiness for Dylan too. Their chemistry was undeniable, and I just loved the snatched moments of time that Sadie and Dylan had together.

I enjoyed the friendship group they found themselves in when they were staying at the hotel, with a variety of couples and single people who all threw themselves into the activities at the hotel. All of the characters in the story were likeable with a few exceptions, including Sadie’s mother Margaret and Dylan’s father Monty.

This wonderful story left me feeling incredibly Christmassy and really made me crave a snowy December filled with snowmen, twinkly lights and warm spiced apple drinks.

Publication Date 13th Sept 2024

Delighted to be part of the Book Blog Tour today.

The festive season is in full swing, and Sadie throws herself into the packed Twelve Days of Christmas programme, relishing the opportunity to make new friends and new memories.

Single father Dylan Travers hasn’t been to his childhood home of Juniper Meadows for decades. Estranged from his cantankerous father Monty, he has made a happy life for himself in the States. But now with teenage children keen to know more about their roots, Dylan has brought them back to the Cotswolds to meet his family.

I didn’t realise this book was part of a series, but the fact that I didn’t realise, can only be a good thing.
I absolutely loved this book. It’s definitely one of what I would call, ‘a cosy book’ which I adore!! The characters of Dylan and Sadie were just so loveable. I was cheering for them, right from the start! What a lovely lovely book!
Thank you Rachel, for allowing me to be part of this book blog tour.

Sadie is thrilled about her upcoming vacation with her husband, Paul. But when she contacts the travel agency handling the trip, she’s shocked to discover her name isn’t on the booking—another woman’s is. From that moment, her life begins to unravel. Her adult children surprise her with a getaway to Juniper Meadows, hoping it will give her the time and space she needs to sort things out.

Meanwhile, Dylan has just walked his ex-wife down the aisle at her wedding. When he offers his teenagers the chance to choose their vacation destination, they opt for Juniper Meadows, the family estate. Dylan hasn’t been there in years, and his children have never met the rest of the family. Will the trip go smoothly, or will old wounds be reopened?

Once at Juniper Meadows, Dylan’s kids encourage him to start dating again. Will he take their advice, or stay single until they both finish high school?

With its engaging characters and compelling story, this book will keep you turning the pages to see if Sadie and Dylan can find their way. It’s an entertaining, heartwarming read that’s perfect for the holidays, blending family, friendship, and second chances with just the right touch of drama and romance. Ideal for fans of heartfelt romance, this is a fantastic choice for book clubs, sparking plenty of great conversations!

A big thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Sadie needed to readjust her entire life after finding out her husband is cheating on her. To help her children decided to give her a 12 day stay at Juniper Meadows for the Christmas holiday. There were so many things for her to do while she was there -there was a murder mystery dinner that she knew would be fun to do while she was there.
Dylan has two children, and he knows it is time for him to take them to his childhood home.
Little Sadie and Dylan realize that this trip and their meeting would be a change they both need in their lives.
I loved the chemistry and connection between these two. I was drawn into their lives and enjoyed every minute of it.
This is part of the Juniper Meadows series. I have read one of the others in the series and look forward to getting the others to read them.
Thank you NetGalley, Sarah Bennett and Boldwood Books for the copy of Snow is Falling. This is my personal review.

Sarah Bennett is another automatic read author for me. This is the fourth book in the Juniper Meadows series, and I've enjoyed my visit there every time.
Sadie was comfortable in life; her children and grandchildren keep her happy and she visits her mother as often as she can though her mother doesn't have the best attitude. She more than anyone else is shocked when she finds her no good husband cheating on her and knows it's time for him to go.
As a way to get her mind off of matters and relax, her children treat her to a twelve day stay at Juniper Meadows over Christmas holiday. Packed with winter activities even a murder mystery dinner she knows it's going to be a blast and a way to make new friends and new memories as she greatly looks forward to it.
Dylan Travers, a single father with two teens has had enough. He hasn't been back to his childhood home, Juniper Meadows in years but for the sake of his children he knows it's time for a reunion. His children need to meet his side of the family as it's not fair on them and he's going to try to reconcile with his father.
As Dylan and Sadie meet, they realize they have much in common and as they get to talking about their similarities, they realize they enjoy each other's company immensely. As the fun continues each day it brings them closer to returning to reality and Sadie leaving this little love nest. Can they make a long-distance romance work, or will it eventually crash and burn like so many long-distance romances do after a while? What a delightful book, I enjoyed reading about the celebration of the holiday and the snow activities that I could picture being done. Christas is the time for miracles, maybe they'll find a few at this time of year. What a delightful and heartwarming continuation of the Juniper Meadows series. I hope it will continue.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book.
All opinions expressed are my own.

Book Review: Snow is Falling

I recently indulged in Snow is Falling by Sarah Bennett, and it was everything I hoped for in a festive romance. Set in the enchanting Cotswolds, the story follows Sadie Bingham, who, after a life-altering event, finds herself on a much-needed retreat at Juniper Meadows—what a perfect backdrop for healing and rediscovery!

From the moment Sadie arrives, the festive atmosphere pulls you in. I loved how she embraced the Twelve Days of Christmas program, allowing herself to make new connections and create cherished memories. It felt relatable and inspiring, especially as she navigates her own challenges.

Then there's Dylan Travers, a single father returning to his childhood home after years away. His struggle with family dynamics, particularly his estrangement from his father, adds a layer of depth to the story. The chemistry between him and Sadie is palpable, and their shared experiences make their connection even more compelling. As they both grapple with their pasts, it’s a joy to witness their personal growth and blossoming romance.

Bennett’s writing is warm and inviting, making it feel like you’re part of this close-knit community. The themes of love, family, and the magic of Christmas resonate beautifully, creating a perfect blend of emotion and joy. I found myself laughing, crying, and feeling utterly enchanted by their journey.

Overall, Snow is Falling is a heartwarming tale that’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit. If you’re looking for a cozy read that captures the essence of love and second chances, this book is an absolute must-read. I can’t wait to see what Sarah Bennett has in store for us next!

A Christmas family reunion forms the backdrop to this sweet, heartwarming second chance romance.

The prologue was most definitely not something you want to skip. It started this story off with a bang, with feelings of anger, sadness, and vindication all rolled into one. And it gave us the perfect introduction to Sadie and her frame of mind.

Sadie and Dylan were both such beautiful people who wholeheartedly deserved a second chance at love and happy-ever-after. Dylan’s reunion with his family was poignant and filled the pages with so much hope. In fact, this entire series can be summed up with that word – hope. Their romance was soft and gradual, and I loved every moment of them together, even with Sadie’s reservations.

This book has been an absolute pleasure to read. If you are looking for a closed-door romance that also centers around family, then this is the book for you. The books in this series each stand well on their own, but it’s worth starting at the beginning to get properly familiar with all the interesting characters.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
