Definitely witty, this book was full of fun, smile inducing banter. I have to admit that I didn’t see the love there- definitely chemistry or the physical kind but deeper emotions did not feel characterized well in my opinion. That said, I adored the back and forth with the snark and amusing dialogue, Harlow and Andy were awesome characters and overall, it was a fun time. Thanks to the publisher, author and NetGalley for an early read!

If you’re looking for a fun book, this is a good pick.
I had some great laughs with it if I’m honest. It’s a little corny for my tastes but this book has some farts/sh!t jokes and sorry but I found them funny 😂.

Andy and Harlow met in a very unique way - insert some of the farts jokes - he orders chicken food from a street vendor in New York which she advised him not to eat it but he’s stubborn and does it. They made a bet if he don’t get sick or sh!t himself, he comes find her and she’ll buy him dinner. If it’s the otherwise he owns her. He indeed gets sick.
Harlow really thought she wouldn’t she him again but then they run into one another and he invites her dinner and their story begins.

This is a fun book just to hang out so don’t expect deep thoughts and in my humble opinion the drama was unnecessary - I don’t like exes drama involving so that’s on me but yeah the drama was quick and then everyone lives happily ever after.

Did I enjoy it? Yes.

Not Your Biggest Fan by Sara Ney was a super quick read. It felt like a Novella. I nice little palate cleanser after some of the deeper books I've been lately. THIS BOOK TAKES PLACE OVER a few days! It was quick, good banter - pretty darn cute and Harlow's dad is an adorable menace! Can we get dad's romance story next?

I loved the meet cute in Central Park, I love the day date and their mustaches.

Was this rushed, uncomplicated and wrapped up way to nice and tidy? Probably. But it was just what I needed right now.

If you are wanting a taste of sports romance, this is a good place to start. I'll be picking up more Sara Ney in the future.

I was not a huge fan of this story. I went into this book hoping for a sports romance that was different. I was mistaken when I read the summary of the book because I read "cocky football player" to reading that he knocked on her door when she went back home to her dad and corgi. Therefore, I was expecting a man changed. However, we still got the cocky football player that during his thoughts and actions were a bit hard to read at times. I did really like the female main character. I thought she brought depth into the story and her app Kismet was super interesting. I did enjoy the spice in the book, which is a surprise since Andy's everyday actions were a bit cringe worthy. I did read this book fairly quickly so I would say that the pacing was good. However, I think that after closing the book I did not have that feeling of wow it was more like okay great on to the next book. The authors writing just may not be for me and that is okay. The summary intrigued me, the story did not. I hope that people pick this book up expecting a quick sports romance read that has minimal depth.

This was a fun read!

Harlow and Andy were a fun pair to 'watch.' Harlow's humor and personality were fabulous, their meet cute was hilarious, and their story from there made for an entertaining read. It was just a great, lighthearted read all around that I enjoyed and would read again.

Sara Ney is a go to author for the romcom that you can't stop laughing while reading. These two are the polar opposites of each other and it makes you wonder how they will ever work it out, but these two sure do! Their chemistry was off the charts in this one and I love that she thought she was in for a weekend and got so much more. It gave me a refreshing take on a one night stand style romance and I really enjoyed it!

Cute story. With the title in mind I was thinking there would be a little more clash between Harlow and Andy. With her not knowing who he was through most of the book that was not the case. Just the dislike of the game was the issue. I thought Andy was struggling with his next step in his career. With just one meet cute his world would change. I liked that from the beginning of their relationship he was all in. I thought Harlow’s app could’ve been touched up on a little more but maybe there will be a spin off with Dex’s story? Harlow is in New York City for work. She meets Andy at a food truck in Central Park and runs into him again later at her hotel. They spend a steamy night together and go their separate ways after exchanging numbers. The only problem is Harlow doesn’t know Andy is actually an NFL star, so when he shows up at her house in Green Bay, all hell breaks loose.

Overall, this was cute. I liked Harlow and Andy as characters, but I felt like it was a little too insta-love. The texts they sent were borderline cringey. I wish it spanned over a longer time period because it felt really rushed! I did enjoy it for the most part.

Harlow and Andy have an excellent meet cute in Central Park (don't eat the food truck chicken, she says. He does. It ends poorly.), followed by a one night stand. Or so Harlow thinks.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book. I thought the meet cute was fun, and I enjoyed their texting conversations.

But there a three things that keep me from really liking this one.

1. Pacing. I suddenly realized that it was about 50-60% of the way through the book when there had been barely any conflict, and then they were cementing their relationship after barely any time at all when I didn't feel they'd earned it.
2. Harlow's work. Harlow is an app developer almost ready to launch, and her friends are also her employees/team. And yet it didn't feel like she had any focus on this. I desperately wanted evidence of her competence and commitment to her project.
3. Evil ex. The drama in the book is precipitated by an evil ex who feels 2D and unredeemable. It felt... lazy? Rushed? It just didn't sit right.

I started writing this up thinking I was going to give it three stars, but I've talked myself down to two. What started off as a fun, lighthearted read got bogged down in things that bothered me.

One big plus: It's set substantially in Green Bay, and Harlow's dad following up emergency texts telling Andy to come over with "Are you hungry? I could make something." is just about pitch perfect Wisconsin.

3.5/5 stars! I love Sara Ney and wanted to love this book. Unfortunately, I am from Wisconsin and have been a Cheesehead since I was old enough to talk. Wisconsin is really a state of small towns, EXCEPT for Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay. Green Bay is not a small town. It's one of our state's largest cities. Granted it's not New York or LA, but it's not a small town. I think authors need to be careful when writing about areas they have never visited or don't understand.

That being said, I loved the banter between the two main characters. Sara does a great job of playing up chemistry. I still enjoyed it despite my personal ugh about location inaccuracies.

Trust Sara Ney to write a humorous and witty romance yet again. This book was filled with banter and emotion, which I’ve come to expect with bated breath from Ney now! NYBF is a perfect example of all her skills on display!

This was cuuuuuute! Been a while since I dabbled in sports romance and now I remember why I love it so much.

The food truck meet cute was hilarious. I love how Andy pursued her time and time again even though she was hesitant and unsure. I do wish the hero was a little more unkind to the OW lol which sounds horrible! But she was a horrible person and I didn't love hearing in his POV about how hot she was and fun and how he even missed her a little bit. When it comes to evil exes, I just need the MMC to only share his regrets, I don't want to hear about him missing her!

Other than that, this was your super cute standard sports romance. A bit formulaic, but I have no problems with that. Most of us who read these kinds of books are totally okay knowing what we're getting! Sara Ney did it well and I found myself laughing a lot.

Harlow is in nyc for a meeting about her dating app she is creating while Andy is there for a meeting with teams he’s looking to sign for. They have quite the funny meet-cute and then run into one another again. She doesn’t realise he’s famous and he keeps it to himself. There is a lot of text message chats between Harlow and her colleagues/ friends, Harlow and Andy so if you enjoy those in books this does have them. Harlow and Andy have a lot of banter which I can imagine could come across cheesy at times but they match each other.

Such a great read from Sara! Witty banter and beautiful chemistry. I enjoyed every moment of this book.

What a fantastic five-star read. This was a great story all about how one moment can lead to such great changes, and how sometimes you just have to go with your gut, even when that gut is mixed up after eating chicken from a truck!! Andy and Harlow will make you smile, her reaction to him is just perfect, and makes it all seem just so good and sweet. Sara Ney is a good author and one that will make you smile at all times.

Not Your Biggest Fan is my first book from this author, and it left me looking forward to giving her other books a try. Andy and Harlow meet in a cute and witty way in front of a food truck and ends with them spending the night together. Harlow doesn't know that Andy is a football star, and Andy feels like he can finally be himself. However, there were times when Andy came off as a little cocky, but I still enjoyed him and Harlow. I also enjoyed Harlow's friends and her dad; I think that he was one of the most memorable characters in this story because he made me laugh out loud. This story has a lot of back-and-forth banter, a little drama, a little spice, was a light and quick read with a HEA. I think romance readers will enjoy this story.

Boy meets girl. Boy doesn’t listen to girl’s advice about street vendor food. Boy regrets his choice. This is how Andy and Harlow meet and end up spending a whirlwind 24 hours together.

I enjoyed the dual POV and witty banter throughout the book. The story was an easy, quick read. That is both a good and bad thing. Although I enjoyed the book, I felt like it was too short. It was almost like the book ended just as it was beginning. I was looking forward to more of Andy and Harlow’s relationship. Both of them had friends that were part of the story. I would have loved for Andy and Harlow to meet each other’s friends, and see that dynamic. I felt like there was still more story to tell.

Andy and Harlow meet in the most unconventional way when she tried to save him from food poisoning! He didn’t listen and well the rest is history! These two from the start had hilarious banter and their connection though not instant was hot, heavy and made for the most hilarious moments!!

I love that we got to see the connection build between these two. We got to see who they were and see them work through their reservations and issues. I wish the ending would’ve given us a little more of them but it sets up for what I hope to be the next book, in a hilarious way!!

Ooh, the emotions are really strong in this book. I could not get enough of Harlow and Landon. They are so good together. They made my heart sing. The spicy moments between them are great but it was the emotional connection that they both bonded over that really won me.
