Cassidy Kincaide owns Trifles & Folly, an antique store in haunted Charleston, SC. She, aided Teag, her martial arts-trained assistant store manager, and Sorren, her silent partner who just happens to be a vampire who founded the store back in the 1600s, try to keep "spookies" off the streets of Charleston. But strange things are happening in Charleston. There have been several murders and formerly safe antiques are starting to manifest spooky abilities. Then there are the shadow men and very strange "dogs" that are starting to appear in Cassidy's neighborhood. The team with some allies, have to figure out what is going on and then come up with a survivable plan to stop the evil from sweeping over the Charleston. I have been dipping my toes in the Deadly Curiosities universe and now I have plunged in. I will definitely be hunting down the short story collections and other novels set in this universe.
