The Ravenswood Witch is my first read from Jenni Keer, and I was completely drawn in by her beautiful, immersive writing. The story blends mystery, history, and a touch of magic, creating an atmosphere that’s both intriguing and captivating.
The characters are richly drawn and compelling, and the dual timelines are woven together seamlessly. The setting is vividly described, with an almost tangible sense of place that pulls you right into the heart of the story.
A wonderfully written, spellbinding read that has left me eager to explore more of Jenni Keer’s work.

Started strong. I love how the book started. The plot is also interesting. While I wasn’t able to finish the book for personal reasons not related to how amazing this book is, I’ll still recommend this to friends.

This book had a great concept, but I feel like it wasn't executed well. The characters fell flat and we're unidimensional. The pacing was slow and a bit off, and I was often forcing myself to read instead of willingly falling into the story. This book just wasn't my cup of tea, though other readers may love it.

I went into this book expecting something more supernatural, but it leaned much more into historical mystery and atmosphere than actual witchcraft or magic.
The dual timelines were a bit confusing at times, especially in understanding how the FMC ended up in her current situation. While I was intrigued by the mystery surrounding the missing wife, the resolution felt a bit underwhelming and lacked the punch I was hoping for.
Overall, this one had an interesting premise, but it didn’t fully land for me.

This book delivers all the creepy, witchy vibes you could want. Set in a mysterious village full of secrets, the story slowly unravels a haunting legend with just the right mix of suspense and magic. The atmosphere is super moody and pulls you right in. Some parts are a bit predictable, but it’s still a really enjoyable read—especially if you’re into folklore, curses, and eerie small-town settings. A solid four stars!

I was in the mood for a magical, cozy and haunting read - and this one fit the bill perfectly! While it was a little slow in certain parts of the book, this ended up being a great read during late summer nights. I loved learning more about witchcraft and really enjoyed the mystery. Thanks so much Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the ARC!

I really wanted to love this book but for some reason I couldn't gel with it at all. There was definitely aspects I enjoyed but there was just something that didn't click

The Ravenswood Witch is a cozy, slightly magical tale with just enough mystery to keep you guessing. The setting feels charming and a bit old-fashioned, like a comforting escape into folklore and secrets. A great pick for fans of gentle, atmospheric reads.

A beautifully haunting read—rich in atmosphere and emotional stakes. A little slow in spots, but ultimately rewarding. I would recommend it for fans of atmospheric, witchy mysteries.

This is the perfect novel to read on a dark night by the fire. It's gothic, mysterious and twisty. I am fascinated by the history of witchcraft and how it bleeds into our modern world. This novel had plenty of plot twists and mystery that was fun to read.

This was a very slow paced book with not a lot happening for most of it. I didn’t love the characters or feel the connection between Luna and Marcus.
I kept reading as I wanted to know how it ended and was surprised by the twist at the end.

Thank you for the ARC! Sadly unable to read as this was downloaded onto an old device I no longer have access to and the book has since been archived.

A gothic themed, witchy drama that will have you hooked. Perfectly blends suspense, drama and enjoyment from a brilliantly written book

Who's up for a book with witchy, spooky, and gothic vibes? Then you might want to add this one to your TBR!
Slow-burn romance? Got me all giddy! Characters of this book lack character development, yet they're pretty much likeable. Interesting even.
The concept is new to me, and sometimes nothing is really happening, but still, I read the book in one-sitting mainly because of the atmosphere the author has masterfully crafted- there's a lot of tension and a bit strangeness.
I enjoyed it nonetheless, it was so easy for me to dive right into, decent enough, but not satisfactory enough for me to give 4-5 stars.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review/feedback.

Love it when a book starts off with an intense introduction that immediately engaged me.
THE RAVENSWOOD WITCH by Jenni Keer did not disappoint. I was vested in this gothic tale set in 1885 portraying dark, academic vibes meshed with suspense and witchcraft.
Keer's writing is strong, brilliantly creating a gothic world emitting a strong 'Jane Eyre' vibe wth added eeriness and a few twists.
My favourite character, Bran, added an engaging element to the storyline. As a talking raven, Bran enlightened the plot with his brand of wisdom and conveyed a touching protectiveness of Luna that I found endearing.
In summary, THE RAVENSWOOD WITCH is a character-driven, gothic-inspired novel that will enterain you. Definitely worth reading. 5/5

The Ravenswood Witch by Jenni Keer is a captivating blend of gothic mystery, historical fiction, and supernatural intrigue. Set in 1885, the story follows a young woman on the run for murder, who, after a chance encounter, assumes the identity of Luna Greybourne, the missing wife of the reclusive Marcus Greybourne. She is taken to the decaying Ravenswood Hall, where dark secrets and eerie happenings unfold.
Keer's writing masterfully creates a chilling atmosphere, with the crumbling mansion and the surrounding oppressive woods setting the stage for a tale filled with suspense and mystery. The inclusion of a talking raven adds a unique touch, serving as both a companion and a symbol of the supernatural elements at play.
The slow-burn pacing allows for a gradual buildup of tension, keeping readers engaged as they unravel the mysteries surrounding Luna's disappearance and the true nature of Ravenswood Hall. While some may find the pacing deliberate, it enhances the overall eerie ambiance of the story.
Overall, The Ravenswood Witch is a compelling read for fans of gothic fiction and historical mysteries. Keer's skillful storytelling and atmospheric setting make this novel a standout in its genre.

Jenni Keer crafts a story full of secrets and emotional depth, with a setting that feels hauntingly alive. The characters are richly drawn, their relationships tangled in ways that feel both real and compelling. The Ravenswood Witch by Jenni Keer is a magical realism novel set in a gothic world filled with witches and deep-set beliefs steeped in fear. It was an atmospheric novel with ghostly moments, and a mystery to be unraveled. Add in a little romance and this was an entertaining read that I did not want to put down.

Excellent gothic vibes with a dash of paranormal, this one was a treat. Definitely want to give this one a reread at some point.

I love books set in historical gothic houses and this one had all the atmosphere! I enjoyed both narratives, and the fact it was just a historical fiction, there’s so much more to it! Mystery, suspense, paranormal with a bit of romance! Bran was a favourite character for me, but I can’t say more than that!
