A wonderful read!
This novel drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked until the end. The characters were vibrant and relatable, the writing was engaging, and the story had just the right balance of heart and humor. Highly recommend!

Die Nebenfiguren, wie Maddies Schwestern und Patricks Familie, bereichern die Geschichte und tragen zur Tiefe der Erzählung bei.​

Fazit: eine empfehlenswerte Lektüre für alle, die Geschichten über persönliche Neuanfänge, die heilende Kraft der Liebe und die Schönheit Irlands schätzen.

3.75 for me, a cute read and I really liked that it focused on people over 30 but not having a 30 - life - crisis. I just hated how stereotypical Patrick and Oliver were for being Irish and Scottish 😂

This was actually so sweet. I am always a sucker for a character who thinks they can't love and fights it at every turn. It happened fast but the two of them were so in love with each other. I need them for a million more chapters.

This setting is everything. I love a good romcom where the MC is tragicly single because that is quite literally my life. I was hooked by the first page.

It was a really cute story with some great spice (like 2/5) and now I want a hot Irish bartender ASAP please 🥵 I loved how you really felt like you traveled to Ireland with each page! I enjoyed Maddie and Patrick's relationship, they had such a fun dynamic. I truly enjoyed their relationship. It was sweet but had its sexy moments. I also felt Maddie & Patrick were relatable characters.

I do love a story from a duel POV.... something this book did perfectly!

A cute Insta love story set in an Irish town.
Maddie is the last Hart sister to find her happily ever after. After a string of bad relationships Maddie decides to swear off men for a while and heads to Ireland to plan her sisters hens do. Enter Patrick the Irish goal keeper who has been hurt before by his ex’s over his grumpy personality. The two hit it off and go on a roller coaster of will they won’t they.
This story was a lot like the first book in the series that I loved. Maddie is a cheery sunshine to Patrick’s grumpiness. This has low stakes drama and is a great easy happy read. I recommend it if you like cosy character development and he falls first but gets scared vibes.

Maddie impulsively flies to Dingle, Ireland after things didn't work out with her holiday fling in the hopes of working out what she wants from life and at the same time, forcing her sister's fiancée's best friend, Patrick, to help her plan a 12 day road trip around Ireland.

Maddie quickly realises that Patrick owns the bar below the flat she's renting and while he seems fairly standoffish when she first meets him properly, she doesn't let it put her off and she keeps forcing her sunny disposition on him until he breaks and starts letting her in little by little.

Patrick has been burnt before when it didn't work out with his ex-fiancée and since they split 5yrs ago he's not really dated anyone seriously, choosing instead to focus on his family and his businesses. But then he realises that Maddie is different, she's not put off by him, she actually seems to enjoy being around him and he finds himself wanting to open his heart up again.

Initially they agree to keep it short term arrangement as Maddie is only in Dingle for a month before she returns to the US and while they'll spend the road trip together and then the wedding, chances are they won't see each other again after that. But it doesn't take long for either of them to realise that they're starting to feel more - but of course, they can't admit this to each other and cue the 3rd act break up!

I loved both characters - Patrick in particular sounds so hot! I think everyone loves an Irish accent then throw in the tall, dark hair, toned body and tattoos and I'm sold! Maddie was lovely as well and I think their past experiences with relationships have damaged them both slightly but they're able to get past that now that they have each other.

I love it when romance is told in dual POV! I always want to know what the guy is thinking when something happens with the girl he's in love with but I think what was missing on this one, was the spicy scenes from his POV. We get them from Maddie's POV but I think it would have been so hot to read it from Patrick's as well - especially when she tells him exactly what she wants, including being told she's a good girl.

Overall, the book is well-written and has great character growth. There is also a bonus scene if you sign up to Chrissy Hopewell's website. And even though it's the third book in the series, you don't need to have read the first two to read this one.

Book 3 of The Hart Sisters and it did not disappoint. I loved this book so much, this series was fantastic.
This book the main character (the main sister) is Maddie Hart and Patrick (Ex-pro soccer goalkeeper and sister's fiance best friend in Ireland.
Maddie has had 9 restaurant jobs and lost them all over 9 bad relationships (bad guys), Now she is onto guy number 10 and she has plans to go visit him in the Caribbean but then she finds out that he is cheating and yet another relationship is done. Upset and ready for a change, or to just hide from her life, she on impulse changes her flight to Ireland and plans her older sister’s pre-wedding Irish road trip, since her contact (Patrick) is there and she can do something good.
Patrick is a nice guy but also such a grump and wants nothing to do with helping with the road-trip. Watching this all play out is sooo funny and entertaining.
In my opinion this book has everything you are looking for in a great rom-com book. THe characters are great, the character development was nice, the background characters were good and the family dynamics (the sisters) were the perfect addition just how they all were in the other books in the series.
I do feel this book could be read as a stand-alone.... BUT I highly recommend that you start at book 1 and read through the series because you will get so much more out of it and all the sisters' stories are great. You will be happy that you did.
I am a big fan of the author Chrissy Hopewell and cant wait to see what else she comes out with and what other books of hers I can get my hands on (2 other books looked it up). :)

It was a really cute story. I appreciate giving a lot of the tourist traps in Ireland with lesser known places to visit. I enjoyed Maddie and Patrick's relationship.

I read this book as a standalone... The tropes alone sold me to want to read this book, I love closed proximity and grumpy x sunshine books. When he falls first, he will do anything to keep you. He will make sure that the feelings are mutual between the two of you.

I'd give this book 4.5 stars.

It was so adorable and also sexy. The spicy scenes were great (I'd give it two chili peppers) and the romance was believable.

I almost didn't want to stop reading about the main characters.

I related to Maddie in that I have had a lot of jobs. I don't often stick around when I have a bad boss or something that makes me truly unhappy. She and I are a similar age too, I'm 34 and my husband is 40. I kept picturing us when reading about them.

I'm a sucker for a European trip romance novel and this one was no different. I ate this shit up.

I thought it was nearly perfect and really loved it.

This is a story about finding answers to life's questions, and those questions take Maddie to Ireland where Patrick helps her find those answers, while he also finds certain things in life that have been missing. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, the story is sweet, funny and downright delightful.

What a fun small town romantic comedy, I enjoyed this book a lot. It's the 3rd book in a series, each book is about a sister, but it can be read as a standalone. Maddie is in charge of planning a bachelor/bachelorette road trip for her sister Reese. She's planning it with her sister's fiancées best friend, Patrick, a grumpy Irish bar- and brewery owner. The FMC hasn't got everything figured out yet, she has had 10 dead end jobs and exes and is finding out who she is after the last one. The MMC is a grumpy mess but very likable and a real good guy, loved the pet sheep. They are both in their 30's which I really liked, it made them more relatable to me.
There is bit of open door spice, but isn't too much. It's overall a cute and enjoyable rom-com.
I really loved the readable Irish accent, which adds to the MMC's character and the visualisation of what he is like. I also loved the fact that the writer really takes us on a journey through Ireland. She has clearly done her research.

I was hooked on their story right away, from the way they met to the way they fell in love. They are so drawn to each other that they can't help but be exactly what the other needs to repair their broken hearts.

4.5⭐- I really loved this story, the plot and chemistry between the characters roped me in. Loved that this took place in Ireland. I loved the first scene between Maddie and Jake in the hallway of his pub.

The only thing I didn't like is the way Jake handled the scene where he got cold and distant with Maddie. It felt borderline narcissistic and felt like a red flag. I also would've preferred more details into the road trip, since it was one of the main reasons for Maddie visiting Ireland. It felt rushed through and I would've like more scene with Patrick and Maddie interacting during the road trip.

Other than that, I also enjoyed some of the funnier scenes and moments in the story. I loved Soairse! She was one of my favorite characters.

at first, I found it hard to get into. about fifty pages in, and I was absolutely obsessed. I couldn't stop turning the pages, I knew I would love it and I did. brilliant romance
