Sarah Ready never disappoints. This series has captured my heart with such real relationships in such a mystical way. I love seeing max make a return from fionas book, and i really enjoy how he turned from someone not open to love, to the biggest simp in the world. I love these characters and how they find each other. If i had the choice i would read this series again for the first time in a heartbeat.
this audiobook production was really nice, and makes you forget the real world
Thank you to netgalley and the author for sending me the book in exchange for an honest review

A light, fun read with a really original plot—exactly what I needed! The spice was enjoyable and well-balanced. I read this as a standalone, but now I’m definitely interested in going back to read the rest of the series.

This was a fun read, although the romance felt a bit rushed sometimes.
I did like the characters and enjoyed the narrators.

I love Sarah Ready, and the narrators were superb, Who doesn't love a grumpy/sunshine romance with a little twist of fate sprinkled in? She believes in love at first sight, and he doesn't seem to really believe in love at all; but when a wish goes wrong and they end up married out of the blue she has to decide if there's really magic in the air, or if it's all artificial.
This was a fun read, and time flew by while I listened. I'll be back from more from Sarah Ready!

Wished is the fourth book in the Ghosted series, but it can be read as a standalone.
Anna had been cleaning Max’s house for years, and he never really noticed her. He was cold, cruel and really not interested in love. But a wish Anna made changed everything.
This was very insta-love, despite Max not wanting anything to do with a relationship. He was practically forced into it because of Anna’s wish. And from there, his attitude toward her changed.
This was cute, but I didn’t really feel the connection between Max and Anna. Sure, they spent time together during her “wish,” but it wasn’t that much time. And I didn’t get how Max could fall so fast when he had been so cruel before the wish.
I still enjoyed this story and all the magical realism aspects.
Audiobook notes:
Narrated by: Amanda Ronconi and Will Watt
Narration Style: Single with a couple of chapters narrated by Will Watt
The narration was great, and Amanda brought the story to life.

At first I was gonna DNF this one when I was reading the ebook off Netgalley but then found the audiobook and I highly recommend listening to the audiobook as the narrators and the way they read the book makes the book a better experience.
It was an interesting read for me as I don't read "magical" romance much, and the concept of the whole book was a bit unrealistic and absurd to me but that's just my opinion. I have to say, the way the author kept adding plot points made the ending a bit less unpredictable and it had me slightly curious. The pace at which they fell in love and the fact that they even loved each other was also a bit out there for me and didn't make much sense. In my opinion, it was all a bit too unrealistic and I didn't see any chemistry besides physical and those made-up years they had together. Some more depth would have been nice, a good fleshed-out emotional connection and understanding. Not the worst of the worst but also not the best. Reflecting on my experience I just don't think this one is for me.

And another great book by Sarah. I have adored her previous works in this series. And Wished, ugh the narration sustained me. It was a breath of fresh air when all I’ve been reading are dark and gloomy. Sometimes you need a little more light and this book brought just the right amount. That is not to say it didn’t have me feeling all the feels and I LOVED IT. Absolutely adored this series and loved being apart of it’s journey.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I didn’t know what to expect going in to this book having never read a Ready book and not much experience with magical realism but this was such a sweet read. Anna is a character I almost instantly loved, putting helping her friends and family and doing what is right first and let's be realistic who wouldn’t make a wish reading that note, even if just for a laugh knowing it won't work. Max took me a little longer to warm to but that’s definitely how he was wrote and as we Anna broke down his walls more I began to like him more too. I have to admit I kind of guessed what would happen after Max’s wish in Paris but that still had a twist to me which is a credit to Ready’s writing that I understood the characters so well after such a short time. The ending was soo sweet and after that epilogue I loved them together and knowing the progress they were making.

This charming, whimsical romance offers a delightful escape into a world where fantasy meets heartfelt longing. Anna Benoit, a romantic at heart and a house cleaner by trade, suddenly finds herself living the life she's only dreamed of—married to the enigmatic Max Barone, the man she’s secretly adored. But as the story unfolds, it gently asks: what happens when your fantasy doesn’t quite match reality?
The magical realism adds a fairy tale shimmer, while the audiobook format beautifully brings Anna’s emotions and journey to life. It's sweet, occasionally poignant, and totally satisfying. Perfect for fans of dreamy love stories with just the right twist of magic. The perfect read if you're in the mood for something light, fun, and a little bit enchanting.
I received a complimentary copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

It is official, I will read anything that Sarah Ready writes. I absolutely love her books and haven't met one of her books that I did not enjoy. I have enjoyed and fell in love with every novel in this series and Wished was no different.
It was filled with hope, banter, and love. The enemies to lovers connection was spot on and not in an overly done way. This is usually not my favorite trope but worked so well.
Thank you to NetGalley, Swift & Lewis Publishing, LLC and Sarah Ready for my gifted audiobook copy. The narrators were fantastic for this reading and really brought the story to live. You could feel the emotion in every line.

This was another beautiful love story in this wonderful series by this author. She never disappoints and I adored that ending. Also, the narrators were fantastic all throughout the 4 books.

A magical and sweet romance that had me swooning from the start! This is the fourth installment in the Ghosted series that centers around a maid named Anna who works at the mansion that Max owns.
I listened to the audio and thought the format was so fun!
*many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review

Romance books are always great! I loved all the books in this series, this was probably my least favorite. But with that said I did enjoy it. The narrators were fantastic in bringing the story to life and giving the characters their happily ever after.

Sarah Ready books are consistently 4 stars for me. I don't know if she's got a formula she uses or what, but every time, they're good.
I have been in a contemporary romance FUNK for the last 9 months, having only read 3 romances, and those were out of force. So picking this up was kind of hard. I was hoping my funk didn't ruin this book or taint the story in anyway because it's not fair to judge a book that I would have normally enjoyed on my bad attitude, but color me surprised (but not really because it's Sarah Ready), but I thoroughly enjoyed this and had a great time reading it. And I think it actually kicked me out of my reading slump - not necessarily my contemp. romance slump, but my overall reading slump I have also found myself in (there's a lot going on over here).
This is fun. It's the book version of so many romantic comedy movies from the 2000s.
I love this entire series and the vibes they bring. Truly if you love any kind of Freaky Friday, Just Like Heaven, Maid in Manhattan movie from back in the day, you'll eat any of these books up. And shout out to Sarah Ready for publishing 4 of them within like 18 months.
Claps all around.

Once again, I read this series out of order. Still haven't read books one and two. But continuing on from three. My review is much the same as it was for the third book. I enjoy this authors writing. But I've noticed that certain libraries on Libby don't carry this author in ebook or audiobook form. That's surprising to me honestly. This author feels like she should be up there right along with Emily Henry and Ashley Poston. Again, I would recommend this title to others. Great story and great writing.

Wished is a very cute, magical romance. Anna is the cleaner that Max never notices, but after she makes a marriage wish everything changes. I liked that both Max and Anna are aware of what's actually happening, they are not acutally married, but htey have memories of a marriage that happened after the wish. It gives them an opportunity to see how it could be between them. So it's a romance in reverse, Max, in seeing a married life with Anna actually starts seeing her. Interesting premise that had me invested and turning the pages.

This was such a passionate swoony whirlwind of a story.
Anna’s life is about to change in an epic way, but is she prepared for what will happen?
Anna has worked for Max for years, she fell in love with him, even though he doesn’t know her.
Anna makes a wish, but the last thing she expects is for it to actually come true.
Anna & Max go on such an amazing adventure getting to really know the depths of each others souls, falling in love, while also trying return things back to “normal”
They are pushed to their limits, they fall even deeper, but can they make it back and if so, will their love still burn bright?
This was so full of passion, hope, healing & love.
I am so glad that Max got his HEA, that he was able to find a passionate all consuming love.

I really enjoy Sarah Ready's books. This one fell a little flat for me and I had trouble investing in this relationship. I will still pick up her next novel. This one just was not for me.

Thank you to NetGalley for the chance to read an early copy of this book. I love Sarah Ready and her books so much, I really do. This one...kinda fell flat for me though. Will that stop me from picking up her next book? Absolutely not. Will this deter me from recommending the book or her as an author? NO. She is a wonderful writer and her books are so much fun.

I"ve read the other book in the series, however I had a hard time getting into this book. While the narrator set a good pace, I still couldn't really feel connected to the story and characters. There were some problematic aspects to the love story/relationship btw the main characters.
