I Bet You’d Look Good In A Coffin ✩✩✩✩.5
Thank you to NetGalley, HQ and Katy Brent for the opportunity to read this book ahead of its review in return for my honest review.
Kitty Collins is back, and she’s setting the world to rights in her own special way.
We follow Kitty as she tries to start a new chapter in her life. Just as she approaches 30, she decides it’s time to turn her back on influencer life and murder, in exchange for a healthy relationship and self care, including attending a support group for women dealing with their anger. The problem is, the world is just still full of men that make this world a difficult place to be for women, so what is a girl to do?
I have been very lucky to read all of Katy Brent’s books as ARCs, including How To Kill Men And Get Away With It, which is where we first meet our beloved morally grey character, Kitty Collins. A vegan heiress to an abattoir empire, ridding the world of toxic men, one murder at a time. There’s something so deliciously addictive about Katy’s books and I always find myself not being able to put them down. I Bet You’d Look Good In A Coffin is no exception. Easy to read, so much fun, and full of twists and turns that you never see coming. This book will leave you gasping and giggling throughout.
All I can say is, I hope we see more of Miss Kitty Collins and her murderous ways in the future!

The usual and now expected bananas mad book by Katy Brent. Kitty is back, settled in a loving relationship with Charlie I’m getting on with her life free. And yet there is something in the air., and something on the Internet, that wakes up her indignation at the cruelty and callousness of some men towards the women in their lives. The book covers abuse, attempted rape, guns and shooting and also man to fit in a beautiful wedding in the south of France and pregnancy. The murders are gruesome and yet at the same time, Katie Brent manages to make each chapter humorous, often slightly ridiculous, but still very very funny.

In this instalment, Kitty is trying to stop killing, but it’s hard when she hears awful stories in her support group and is threatened by a toxic social media influencer, Blaze Bundy. You can’t help but love Kitty even though she is a serial killer!!!!
This book is perfect for fans of dark humour, thrillers, and reads that take a good look at societal issues. If you enjoyed How to Kill Men and Get Away With It, you’ll love this one too 🔪

Katy has done it again !!! This book is an equally as fabulous as book 1 !!! Absolutely loved it ! Murdery , bit of love , bit of dark deliciousness. and the new characters and one introduction is perfect !!!! Please never stop writing these. If you haven’t already go and read !!!! You are missing out if you don’t !!!

I was SO excited to hear that Katy Brent was releasing this sequel because I ADORED the first. Kitty Collins character is like no other and I’m so glad she’s back! I didn’t think it would be possible but I actually thought this was even better than the first book. The storyline was brilliant all the way through, I loved the mystery of not knowing who Blaze Bundy was, I was constantly guessing people throughout (and was always wrong). There’s two main things that I think make these books work so well and it’s that there’s such an important topic involved with patriarchy and misogyny, toxic relationships and behaviours and it’s such an important subject. I think the support group worked really well in recognising and understanding what women experience, you genuinely understand the anger and frustration of Kitty, there was a line in there about the justice system that will always stick with me! The other thing that makes the book work so well is that where there’s this serious topic, there’s also so much humour! I love how sarcastic Kitty is and the dark humour gives a great balance to the story, I loved the additional characters, they all had great chemistry and as previously said, the storyline stayed strong all the way through. It was a brilliant read, I highly recommend it and I will continue to read everything that Katy Brent releases because she’s such an incredible author.

Another great instalment in the Kitty Collins story! It made such a good beach read on my holiday! Kitty is a great character and I enjoyed the storyline in this one, I definitely didn’t see the twist coming though! I thought I’d figured it out but I was definitely wrong!

Deviously Dark..
Kitty Collins is back in this deviously dark sequel to the first in the series and, despite her very best efforts, she is finding it increasingly difficult not to revert back to her murderous ways. After all, there is just so much temptation. With a perfectly drawn anti heroine, a sprightly narrative littered with dark humour and even darker thoughts and an ample scattering of red herrings, this is a worthy and thoroughly engaging follow up.

Katy Brent is back with the next instalment of our beloved serial killer Kitty Collins.
She is in love and on her best behaviour. She’s not killed anyone in a while. However, there are some men out there who just need to be taken car off.
She’s joined a support group and the stories she hears are giving her murderous ideas. It’s also not helping that an anonymous social media influencer has it in for her.
To make matters worse her mother has arrived back in town for a visit. She’s been living in the south of France and about to marry a man Kitty knows nothing about.
Could Kitty be returning to her old ways.
I absolutely love Kittys character. I can’t wait for the next book.

I absolutely loved this book. It was genius and I wasn’t putting it down until I’d finished.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC in return for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Kitty is back and she does not disappoint.
Following on from the previous book we think Kitty has turned her back on her killing ways. She's in love and in a therapy group. Between finding out her mother is getting married to a man she has never met and hearing the awful ways the other women in the therapy group have been treated by men it's hardly surprising that she has to give in to temptation.
As we follow Kitty's journey we are left wondering who is the mysterious influencer that is threatening her life. Is it someone we know, is it someone new, is it someone unexpected and why ate they doing it.
The scenes set out are so descriptive it's like you are there. Living it with her. The twists are amazing, the surprises just keep coming and the ending..... well, we will see what Kitty is up to next.

Kitty Collins just can't help herself.
She's at it again.
She does try, really she does, but there are just SO many obnoxious men wasting good oxygen that it's a duty to humankind to...remove them
More brilliant murderous mayhem

I'd like to start by saying how incredibly honoured I was to be invited to read the new Katy Brent novel by the publishers. This is the highly anticipated sequel to her first novel How to Kill Men and Get Away With it.
Kitty has had a bit of a detox since her last "spree" and she's doing really well - settled down with her boyfriend Charlie, enjoying the quiet life free from the chore of killing off toxic men. But she's got an itch, is still obsessed about how she wants to get rid of all the toxic masculinity and a new presence on social media is making it hard not to scratch!
The "new presence" is Blaze, a mysterious male who has amassed a following spewing misogynistic hatred all over the internet. He's vile, think of that man whose name I refuse to give a footprint to, but it rhymes with curfew fate!!!
To be honest, I was pretty sure I'd figured out who he was early on and I was delighted to be proved wrong. There are plenty of red herrings scattered throughout - enough to keep me guessing. Katy Brent has a wicked sense of humour, and her protagonist Kitty is one of my favourite fictional characters. You can completely understand why she does what she does, and the murdering and humour run parallel to a very observant social commentary on toxic men.
I laughed, I cried, I squirmed as people got dismembered and laughed some more. Another absolute gem from Katy, I stayed up till 2am to finish and I already want some more. A definite auto-buy author for me, everything she does is golden.
