This was an adorable Christmas romance. This book follows Maggie a IT boss who finds herself alone for Christmas. Her employees determined she should not spend Christmas alone make a plan to take her to their homes throughout the holidays. The writing and characters in this book were amazing it felt so cozy and the characters I did not want to end. This book was funny I definitely laughed out loud a few times. The only thing was I wished there was a little more romance in this one , while I enjoyed the time with Jasper and Frank I kind of wish Leo was there throughout the book. This is my first book by this author but won’t be my last. I would like to thank NetGalley and the publishers for a chance to read this book for an honest review.

I like a workplace romance but the power dynamics introduced by the fact that Maggie is the boss of the three friends, the introduction of a romance, and the overhanging drama that she will inevitably have to fire one of the people who were kind enough to welcome her to their holiday celebrations it wasn't as feel-good as it could have been.

I loved Kristen Bailey’s Five Gold Rings book last holiday. I just couldn’t get into this book in the same way. I liked the whole spending time with three friends in their element but not the boss and employee angle.

This book really would make a great Hallmark movie. It would be one of the better ones too with likable characters and lots of humor and heart. I liked all three "kings" and appreciated that there wasn't a love triangle (square?). The friendships were great and a real highlight. I'd even say they were more important to the story than the actual romance.
I read an ARC of this book from NetGalley. All comments are my own.

The perfect way to spend a cold day inside. The cozy holiday vibes were great. The characters had the perfect amounts of fun-loving nerdiness. And, there was the perfect touch of holiday cheer to bring in the end of the holiday season. I highly recommend this one!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks for the opportunity to read this advanced copy. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The relationship between the IT dept was so fine. Maggie was so much more than a boss as shown when the 3 coworkers want to make sure she is not alone for Christmas. Their various adventures and the development of her relationship with Leo was so good. Loved this book!

This is one of my favorite holiday books from this year! I loved this story, the characters, and I LOVE a good he falls first story!! Each of the men were charming and I loved seeing their secrets and relationship with Maggie evolve and develop. They were all fiercely loyal and protective of her and I loved their friendship.

In this unorthodox and hilarious new holiday rom-com novel from Kristen Bailey, readers join Maggie Field as she enjoys three very different Christmases and their accompanying tropes with her three workmates who have invited her to join their holiday celebrations. However, her boss has told her that one of the three of them -- Frank, Jasper, and Leo -- have to go right before she embarks on this holiday adventure. From being a fake date to a luxury wedding, rescuing baby foxes and dealing with a chaotic extended family, and a cozy yet charming Lake District Christmas involving a donkey, Maggie’s holiday plans bring her closer to Frank, Jasper, and Leo, with the chance of something more with Leo, and readers will love following her on these different holiday trips. The characters are so easily the heart of the novel because the dynamics between the four protagonists really draw the readers into the story and make them care about who leaves their job after the holiday season ends. With such dedication to creating three different holiday sagas and her fantastic commitment to character development -- both serious and comedic -- Kristen Bailey’s new novel is a fantastic, charming, and deeply heartwarming holiday read that fans of the genre will adore.

I dnfed this book after a few chapters in. Unfortunately it wasn't for me. I was hoping for a cozy sweet romance but there was quite a bit of swearing and a few innuendos. And during Christmas time I just want something light and fluffy. I wasn't invested with the characters either from the beginning.
*Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book to read. All thoughts are my own.

I enjoyed this cozy English countryside Christmas rom com. I mean what's not to love about found family and baby foxes.

Looking for a Christmas cozy work colleague comedy???
Who isn’t?!
In all seriousness, this was a fun quick read with likeable characters and banter. Less rom and more com.

After reading the first few chapters I wasn’t sure this would be my cup of tea, but I ended up really enjoying it. I feel like I wouldn’t necessarily call it a fake dating book. I loved the friendships all four of the main characters had with each other and found myself laughing out loud many times along the way. A very cute Christmas read with a hint of spice.

This was SO cute. I really liked that they were coworkers and friends. This book seemed real to life to me and I could see most of it actually happening in real life. It had some romance and comedy and I really enjoyed it. It was also very Christmassy.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy to honestly review.

It’s official, Kristen Bailey is my favorite rom-com author. This is the third book of hers I’ve had the pleasure of reading, and it’s just as good as the last two. I love how all her characters are part of the same universe. I love how freakin FUNNY she is. I love how her female characters are so multilayered, charming, confident, and kind. I love how the male characters are real, every day guys who aren’t afraid to be sensitive and devoted but are still passionate. I figured out early on how Maggie would solve her underlying issue, but that made it no less emotional upon happening. I loved Leo, Jasper, and Frank. They were all highly distinct characters who had nerd qualities without being stereotypes. I would’ve loved coming in to work every day too. And the way they cared for Maggie was just beyond sweet. This is a book about chosen family that genuinely made my heart happy because of Bailey’s extraordinary writing. I will always recommend her books and plan on reading older ones while looking forward to the next!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for providing this arc in exchange for my honest review.

Having thoroughly enjoyed Kristen Bailey's previous Christmas novel, Five Gold Rings, I was thrilled to receive an early copy of her latest festive offering, We Three Kings. This time, we follow Maggie, an IT consultant who manages three men-Leo, Jasper, and Frank-from the cozy yet chaotic basement office they share. Their bond is unmistakably that of a found family: supportive, quirky, and deeply interconnected.
When Maggie is invited to spend Christmas with each of her colleagues, she eagerly agrees, but her excitement is tempered by a devastating ultimatum from HR the day before she departs with Frank to his sister's wedding. She must decide which of the three men will lose their job. What follows is a heartwarming, often hilarious, and sometimes bittersweet journey as Maggie grapples with this impossible choice. Along the way, there's an extravagant wedding, charming encounters with mischievous foxes, a whimsical escapade into the woods, and an unexpected romance set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Lake District.
Maggie is a delightful protagonist-genuine, relatable, and unwaveringly kind. Her relationships with Leo, Jasper, and Frank are beautifully nuanced, with each dynamic revealing her ability to bring out the best in those around her.
We Three Kings is an utterly charming, quintessentially British Christmas tale that brims with wit, warmth, and festive cheer. It strikes a perfect balance between humor and heart. And that epilogue? A delightful nod to the three wise men that was simply brilliant. This is exactly the kind of uplifting story that belongs on every Christmas reading list.

Overall an enjoyable festive read, but not a favourite of mine. The writing was a bit rough at times, with overwritten sentences, random changes from third to second person and overall just needing another line edit. The plot was fun and I liked how it was about friendship. The romance was cute, however, how is it that a very important turning point of the romance happens off page? Why did we have to flashback instead of experiencing it first-hand? It made me feel a bit disengaged from the whole thing. Cute book if you're in the mood for a Christmas romance.
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.

A festive tale brimming with Christmas cheer. The story has a heartwarming premise, following three quirky protagonists as they navigate unexpected twists during the holiday season.
Bailey’s writing sparkles with humor and holiday spirit, making it a fun, cozy read. The themes of friendship and second chances are endearing, and the occasional heartfelt moment adds a nice touch.
It’s a pleasant read for fans of light holiday fiction, but it didn’t quite reach its full potential for me.

After reading Five Gold Rings I was so excited to have received this on my netgalley! It’s a beautifully written, festive treat full of warmth with genuinely likeable people who end up in funny situations that had me smiling the whole way through.
At times, I felt the dialogue was maybe written too old for the age of the characters, but I was able to look past it and ended up enjoying the journey. I’d rank this pretty high of my favourite Christmas books I’ve read over the past few years, and look forward to reading more books by this author in the future!

Thank you Netgalley for an arc of We Three Kings. This was a cute holiday read, I really enjoyed it. I rated 3.5 stars, I'd recommend reading it.

4.25⭐
Really enjoyed this holiday rom-com as it actually had an interesting plot and well-defined intriguing characters, more than just the male and female leads. Families are more than just the ones we were born with which could be good or not. But friends and work families can be ever so much sweeter and caring.
