This is the second book I’ve read by Kristen Bailey and it did not disappoint! I adored Maggie and the relationship she had with her three work friends. Found family is one of my favorite tropes and this book nailed it! I would have liked a little more romance, but other than that it was the perfect Christmas book. It will definitely leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside.

A million little Christmas thanks for Storm Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC!
Listen, I love Christmas. I love the FEELING Christmas brings. And this book was a GREAT encapsulation of it. It was heartfelt, fun, and full of hope. I enjoyed the premise, even if the stakes for the FMC were not high- despite it's efforts. I came for the relationships and the Christmas love vibes. The group of 4 main characters were so sweet and their friendship was just so NICE to read. Overall, I probably won't pick it up again, but I truly enjoyed this little Christmas gift in a story.

This isn’t your typical fake dating book. It focuses on Maggie, an IT supervisor at a company and her 3 subordinates/friends, Frank, Jasper, and Leo. Maggie was planning on spending Christmas alone but is instead invited to stay with these 3 kings over the Christmas holiday. Meanwhile, she discovers she must let one of them go from the company in the new year but, which one of her friends will she choose and how will it change their dynamic?
This wasn’t as romantic to me as I wanted it to be but, I appreciated the found family vibes and the descriptions of the places our FMC steps into. It definitely felt like a cozy Christmas read and I could see some readers really resonating with it! The IT department representation was particularly funny and spot on.
Thank you Kristen Bailey, Storm Publishing, and NetGalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

We Three Kings is one of the best romcom reads of the year! I absolutely loved it and the book made me laugh out loud too many times to count! Kristen Bailey has become one of my favorite authors because she will always find a way to tell a story and put a smile on your face. Maggie Field is an IT supervisor and has 3 "geeky" men that are in her department. Their office is kept in the basement and her department is never invited to the big company parties. The entire company would be lost without the IT Department, but they're not included in social events. Maggie's going to be alone for Christmas break as her parents are on a cruise. She's going to housesit while they're gone. She's kind of looking forward to it and the movie marathon that she can indulge in.
When the 3 guys find out that she's going to be alone, they each invite her to come with them for different parts of the break. Frank needs a plus one for his sister's wedding that he's dreading. Maggie will be his plus one and stand up for Frank to his family. Jasper invites her to his country home when she's done with the wedding duties. Leo invites Maggie to his family home a couple hours from London. His entire family will be there and it will be cozy and fun! She'll go with Leo once Jasper's family gets ready to go on their ski trip. A week that was going to be lonely has turned into a week full of fun with 3 guys she genuinely likes as friends. There's one guy though that she would like to be more than friends with. She's excited to see what he's like outside of work over a few days.
The last day of work before break, Maggie sends the guys home a few hours early. They're in the basement so who's going to know? Her desk phone rings and Maggie's boss asks her to come up to her office. Maggie can't imagine what she wants as it's the last day! Maggie's boss tells her that she has the Christmas break to decide which one of her team to let go. The company needs to make some cuts to save money and one of the cuts is a person on Maggie's team! When Maggie returns to work on January 2 she is to give her boss the name of the person to be cut. Her boss says they will receive a nice package and the company will help them to find another job. Maggie and her team have become good friends and enjoy spending time together. She' can't imagine having to let one of them go! So much for a fun Christmas break!
As you enjoy reading Maggie's adventures with the guys you'll be roaring with laughter at times and your heart will break at times. We Three Kings is a fantastic book that puts you in the holiday spirit if you're not there already. I loved We Three Kings and rate it 5 stars with my very highest recommendation! I can't say it enough, read this book! I'd like to thank NetGalley and Storm Publishing for an advanced copy of We Three Kings in exchange for a fair review! I love Kristen Bailey's writing and look forward to her next book! #WeThreeKings

Another Fabulously Festive story from the queen of laugh out loud books! We Three Kings is such an easy, fun read that will get you in the festive spirit in no time 🎄 the characters are the forefront of this book and a wonderful friendship theme runs throughout it with a dose of festive family antics, fun adventures and a hint of spice! It’s heartwarming and hilarious, cosy and charming and like with Kristen’s Christmas book last year ‘Five Gold Rings’ I would recommend adding it to your TBR if you haven’t already - switch your tree lights on, light your candles, grab a baileys (or whatever your Christmas tipple is and enjoy!!
Thank you Kristen & Netgalley for sending.

Maggie Field, an IT head at a financial firm, faces a lonely Christmas until her three quirky and endearing colleagues invite her to spend the holidays with them. This unexpected opportunity leads to a heartwarming adventure filled with laughter, unforeseen challenges, and the blossoming of a workplace romance.
The story beautifully captures the essence of friendship, showcasing how Maggie’s bond with her colleagues deepens through shared experiences and mutual support. The plot is filled with charming escapades, from a lavish wedding to a chaotic rescue mission involving baby foxes. The author masterfully balances humour and heartwarming moments, creating a delightful and engaging reading experience. Maggie is a relatable and endearing protagonist, while her colleagues, Frank, Jasper, and Leo, are each unique and charming in their ways.
The romantic tension between Maggie and Leo is skillfully built, adding a delightful layer of intrigue to the narrative. “We Three Kings” is a perfect holiday read, offering a heartwarming escape with its charming characters, witty banter, and festive atmosphere. It’s a testament to the power of friendship, the magic of the Christmas season, and the unexpected ways love can blossom.

Loved this! I started this book thinking it was your typical fake dating story. It wasn't. It was so much better. I loved the humor and all the characters. Frank was my favourite! Well done, Ms. Bailey!

I loved loved loved We Three Kings. A festive story of three work friends with a romance bubbling between Maggie and Leo. Family, fun friendship, at times sad but a must read book. Can’t wait for my next Kristen Bailey book.

Maggie was looking forward to a cosy solo Christmas after her parents went off on a cruise for the holidays, but when her workmates find out about her plans, she is invited to three different Christmases instead!
It will come in handy to get to know then a bit better as, just before she logged out for the break, HR told her hat she will need to make one of her team redundant in the new year, and she has know idea who to choose. But will it make her decision easier or harder?
This was a warm, funny, entertaining read, perfect for those readers who, like me, aren't up for all the schmaltz in their Christmas reads!

I loved this book!! The author did such a good job! I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed it from the beginning with no parts that slowed me down. The use of humor was perfect! I can't wait for more from this author!! I highly recommend this book!
Thank you Net Galley ARC

I am a big fan of this author and love the writing style!
I cant wait to read more!

4.25 ⭐️
Thanks to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for this eARC
I think this book is being promoted wrongly: the cover says “Fake Dating”, but if that’s what you’ve bought it for, I think you’d be disappointed. We Three Kings is a book about friendship, about loving the friends around you, feelings growing for someone you took for granted.
It’s a beautifully written, festive treat full of warmth with genuinely likeable people who end up in funny situations that had me smiling the whole way through.
At times, I felt the dialogue was maybe written too old for the age of the characters, but I was able to look past it and ended up enjoying the journey. I’d rank this as one of my favourite Christmas books I’ve read over the past few years, and look forward to reading more books by this author in the future (Five Gold Rings is a definite).

This was such a fun book to read. I really loved this Christmas Rom Com. Definitely has all those hallmark channel or netflix holiday feels. I like the plot and characters. I was rooting for all of them.

4.5 stars rounded up! Maggie’s three nerdy IT colleagues (Leo, Frank, and Jasper) find out she will be spending Christmas alone, and all invite her to their various family Christmases. Along the way, she finds such a sweet family dynamic with them and also true love; the only catch is, she has to fire one of them by New Years due to budget cuts. I LOVED this book! It was SO cute, and I’m obsessed with all the guys and the found family dynamic with Maggie! It was so fun to read about their crazy Christmas adventures, and I absolutely loved the ending. I can’t wait to read more by this author!
Many thanks to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the opportunity to read before pub day! ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. WE THREE KINGS is out now!

Oh this was just the perfect book to read near Christmas!
I think it covers everything I love about the holiday season, and perfectly illustrates that anything goes at Christmas.
Thank you so much to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for the arc. 🫶🏻

A hilarious story that encapsulates the wild escapades that come alongside Christmas.
Maggie had prepared and planned for a cosy Christmas on her own but when she lets slip to her three male co-workers in the IT department that she will spend the festive season riding solo they concoct a plan to see that she will come home with each of them over the Christmas period.
With her bags packed and ready for some quality time with her team she is unexpectedly informed by HR that she must make one of her fellow workers redundant by New Year, so with the upsetting news she sets of on an adventure where she becomes a fake girlfriend at a wedding, a rescuer of baby foxes and an accomplice to kidnapping a donkey with a group of drunk Santa's all while falling in love and trying not to break her work family apart.
So initially when picking up this book I believed it was a why choose however it is not, it's actually the polar opposite with it being a closed door romance and only one main love interest, that being said I adored it and devoured the story within hours.
The dynamic the author has created between all the characters is so heart-warming, each one is unique and the storyline had me laughing throughout. each individual friendship and progression was different and you could tell how much they all truly cared for each other the whole way through.
This story made me laugh so many times, it was very light-hearted and the perfect comfy Christmas story. I also really enjoyed that throughout we saw several different family dynamics and cultural differences as well as different Christmas traditions and overall the love and madness of Christmas.
Easy five stars for me

Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the copy of We Three Kings! This was a wholesome holiday read that showed the importance of workplace friendships that can turn into family, which made for a super cute holiday book!

We Three Kings follows Maggie who works in IT, as she’s thrown together with three of her coworkers for the holidays. It’s classic Kristen Bailey: winsome, quirky, poignant, and hilariously entertaining, with a nice dash of romance. A perfect read for the holiday season, or really anytime throughout the year you need a pick-me-up.
Thank you Kristen Bailey, Storm Publishing, and NetGalley for providing this ARC for review consideration. All opinions expressed are my own.

We Three Kings is a cozy (or should I say cosy?) Christmas romance. Maggie has become close friends with her 3 supervisees at work - Frank, Jasper, and Leo. When they find out she plans to spend Christmas alone, they can't let it stand, so they invite her to join in their holiday celebrations. She finds herself accompanying Frank to his sister's wedding, seeing how the other half live at Jasper's family estate, and enjoying a small town Christmas with Leo (and a little more). However, right before Christmas break, HR informs her that she needs to choose someone on her team to make redundant, which she struggles with internally while on these Christmas adventures with them.
Overall, We Threw Kings was a cute easy read, but it wasn't super memorable. Also, as someone who has worked in HR, it was hard to get passed how inappropriate Maggie's relationship was with her subordinates! It might not bother other people, but it made me cringe. I also predicted the ending early on, although it was a satisfying one.

A Christmas book filled with quirky characters and situations that made me laugh! This is a story of Maggie, an IT supervisor, and the 3 men that work in the IT department. When they discover Maggie will be alone for Christmas they invite her to spend time with each of their families. Maggie is hiding a decision that HR is forcing her to make that will jeopardize the future of the department. How will she ever decide as she learns more about the men and their relationships deepen? Maggie and the others are quirky characters, but what I liked best about them is their kindness and caring for each other. They may be overlooked by the rest of the company but they matter to each other. The celebrations are so different and provided insight into each of the characters. This book made me smile and feel the magic of the season. I highly recommend this book
