I love Kate's books. I will always read them, whenever I can. Her style of writing such understanding characters, in the best situations and make it so entertaining but real makes them so fab

This is not what I was expecting but I am so glad it was what it was. I needed a fun holiday read in the middle of end of year chaos. This brightened my mood, made me giggle in the right spots and made me wish for the holiday season again. If you want a fun, magical romance, pick up this quick read.

This was good it was fast paced and I read it in one sitting because I couldn't put it down I enjoyed being transported to a winter wonderland and seeing Lyla be made part of Masons family. I wish there had been a bit more romance in this but still thought it was cute and I'm excited to read the next in the series.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ebook in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this was an alright enemies to lovers romance, but it didnt feel like the the two characters had much chemistry with each other. I also found the main characters name being Mason Klaus a bit cringy if I'm honest, it wasnt a cutesy silly name

A wonderful read!
This novel drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked until the end. The characters were vibrant and relatable, the writing was engaging, and the story had just the right balance of heart and humor. Highly recommend!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

Another one that kept me hooked to read the whole book in one go. Arriving at that Winter Wonderland finding out all the secrets about Canta Claus, keeps you interested and wanting to know what is going to happen next. Loved this book

Such a good Christmassy read!
This year I made more of an effort to read more holiday books and I am glad I picked this up. I enjoyed the characters and the romance and the found family trope is always an emotional one to read.

The Naughty or Nice Clause by Kate Callaghan is a fun and lighthearted holiday romance. The story blends humor and romance as two characters navigate the challenges of love and the holiday season. Callaghan’s writing is engaging, with a perfect mix of charm and festive spirit. It's an enjoyable read for those looking for a quick, feel-good romance with a holiday twist.

Being Naughty Has Never Been So Nice!

When Lyla's father retired as CEO of the toy company which has been in their family for generations, she was meant to receive his shares. Instead, she discovers the company is bankrupt and her father has given her shares to Mason Klaus, an investor known in the corporate world for his cold and callous nature. Much to Lyla's frustration, her only option is to run the company with him, despite their evident loathing for one another.

When Mason cancels the annual Christmas party, Lyla throws it anyway - only for the event of the season to result in a terrible fire. With the offices and Lyla's credibility ruined, Mason offers her a deal: he'll forget her part in the disaster, but she must join his family for the twelve days of their Christmas holidays.

Taken to a fantastical winter wonderland, Lyla hopes that she might discover some of the secrets Mr Klaus is hiding, and maybe even a way to get her company back. However, when Mason introduces her to the secret village as his fiancée, she is horrified to realise she has no choice but to go along with the preterence - because the cost of bringing an outsider to their magical land is far too high.

Can Lyla resist the devilishly handsome Mr Klaus and the enchanting village to win back her company, or will she give into temptation?

Fun and joyful winter holiday romance with naughty moments. I really enjoyed the writing and storyline. The characters were lovable and every moment relevant.

The workplace/fake dating trope where he takes her home to meet the town and family is one of my favorites tropes. Especially if it’s holiday themed.
This is a adult romance so there are content warnings. This is a stand alone novel with a positive HEA.

My first Kate Callaghan book but definitely not the last.

Thank you to the author, NetGalley and publisher for this earc in exchange for a honest review.

This is such a different take on the story of Santa Clause. You get enemies to lovers, competition in the workplace, a jealous ex and the magic of Christmas all set in Santa's magical village. If you think you are too old to read about Santa that Naught or Nice Clause may change your mind.

This was such a fun and cute read!!

Our main characters hate each other, Mason is Layla’s supervisor. While at work there is huge problem… fire!! Mason agrees to forgive Layla if she joins his family celebration for Christmas. One little detail, he lives at North Pole.

The descriptions are marvelous, you really are transported to a joyous town, full of wonders.

It’s the perfect read if you want to read a cozy book or if you love Christmas.

The beginning might be a little slow, but trust me, just keep reading and you won’t regret it.

I couldn’t bring myself to finish this book. I started this book numerous times, thinking it might be a little reading rut but the storyline didn’t draw me in. I felt the chapters were too long. Wanted to love the book, but it fell short.

Story set in a small town, during the Christmas period, what more could we want? Maybe some aspects of the book need to be improved a little, for example the dialogues, I didn't like them much, but it's a good starting point.

The Naughty or Nice Clause by Kate Callagan is a fun Christmas romance. This romance also has a few fantasy elements. The town of Yule is just amazing, and I would love to visit there and become friends with everyone that lives there. Also, as a kid I always hoped I would get magically transported to the North Pole. Lyla and Mason are the best enemies to lovers/ grumpy sunshine duo. I loved learning about Mason’s family. I would recommend this book for any who enjoys holiday romances.

First holiday read of the season and it did not disappoint! A very cutesy Christmas story with just the right amount of Christmas magic,
Read if you like:
Christmas (duh)
grumpy x sunshine a he falls first fake dating found family

This one is a no from me I’m afraid, while I’ve enjoyed the author in the past this book just seemed to go too fast!

One minute they hate each other and the next they’re in the North Pole? I could get over it, and it tainted the whole story for me. I love this type of of magic in movies but it doesn’t blend well for me in books to suddenly be whisked away to the North Pole by a Klaus….

This is a lighthearted romance that is fun from the first page and offers something unique to the idea of a Christmas love story. This Christmas story is perfect for the holiday season though can be read at any time and would be fun as a summer read. The chemistry between characters is delightful with humorous banter and plenty of charm. This has plenty of tropes that readers enjoy with my favorite being enemies-to-lovers which Callaghan does so well. Definitely check this book out and add it to your reading lists!
