THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE - Juliet Rosetti

#4 in the Life and Love on the Lam romance series

FUN AND FUNNY! - 4 stars

Plot - 4 stars - As Ben and Mazie's relationship ebbs and flows, Mazie once again gets involved in a deadly situation involving a young woman escaping from a biker gang from her home town.

Writing - 4 stars - Rosetti has created a wonderful story, peopled with hilarious characters. She catches my attention right from the first page every time, and the action is fast and furious, keeping my attention until the end, She writes amusing and clever lines that keep me laughing between action scenes.

Characters - 4.5 stars - Here is where the story shines even brighter for me. Mazie is a terrific main character. We met her in the first book, of course, and have enjoyed her personality throughout. She is an ex-con with a heart of gold. She's always trying to do the right thing, often helping other people to her own detriment, but she almost always gets herself involved in dangerous situations. Ben is tall, dark, and handsome, and he's head over heels in love with Mazie, although he doesn't express his feelings very well. But he's strong and supportive when he needs to be. Supporting characters of Juju, Magenta, and other lesser known people have one thing in common--they love Mazie and help her in the most hilarious way possible.

Title - 4 stars - Ben has been named The Sexiest Man Alive by a local radio station, and this has caused some friction between him and Mazie.

Cover - 3.5 stars - The characters on the cover don't exactly look like I pictured them in my head, but they're close. An active picture of two very active people.

Overall - 4 stars - What a wonderful series! I'm so sorry to see it end. Rosetti has created a great group of people and a laughable plot that continues throughout. Her writing is enjoyably amusing, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. But her sexy scenes are hot too. This series is a pleasure to read, and I look forward to discovering more from this author to enjoy.

Juliet Rosetti writes a good story but as will romance novels it is a happy ending. I like a bit more to my story then I felt this book had. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't my favorite either.
