I don't know why I requested this one as I don't normally enjoy small town romance vibes. Not enough danger, action, or passion for me.

I missed reading Master Undone (Whoopsie!) from what I understand I shouldn’t have. No matter, I still enjoyed reading My Hunger. It’s a quick read from Mark’s POV and it was fairly delicious and intense. We get to experience all the chaos and desires of Mark is going through. Sorry to say, I didn’t like him at first. I’m singing a new tune because it has given me a new perspective of Mark and has turned my opinion around about him. Not a book to be missed!

I received this book from Netgalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Another Mark novella in the INSIDE OUT series. I’m loving the chemistry between Mark and Crystal. He’s losing control in many ways since finding out about Rebecca’s fate. He vows not to bring another woman into the lifestyle. But cannot stay away from Crystal. I can see the set up for Chris & Sara’s next book and am looking forward to seeing what’s in store for all of them.

For those of you who are fans of the Inside Out Series from Lisa Renee Jones, I know you’re excited for the release of My Hunger next week. I’m lucky enough to have gotten an advance copy for review a week or so ago. If you have not read the series, I highly recommend it. However, I recommend starting with either If I Were You. You could also start with Rebecca’s Lost Journals and then move on to If I Were You.

My Hunger takes the story of Mark Compton and Crystal to the next step after The Master Undone. When I read His Secrets (featuring Chris Merit) I wondered if there was anything new in the book that was a new piece to the puzzle of this mystery. I had the opportunity to speak to Lisa in May and she assures me there are little tidbits everywhere. Apparently, I just suck at finding them. I think I need to read the whole series again because I do so much better the second time. But, who doesn’t?

Anyway, in My Hunger there were a couple things that got me thinking about what might have happened to Rebecca. There are some sexy scenes too! My Hunger has made me even hungrier for No In Between coming out in August.
