The Social Media Policy is an incredibly helpful and reassuring guide for new reviewers like myself. It clearly explains how to share about books responsibly while still being authentic and creative in your own voice. Having this clarity makes it easier to support authors, publishers, and NetGalley in the right way from the very beginning. I’ll continue to reference as I review more and more books.

This was a great tool to use when I started my bookstagram account and I had no idea what I was doing. It guided me to additional apps and sources in order to learn how to create meaningful content.

So thankful for this little volume. It was a lifesaver as I was trying to put together my first Bookstagram account!

Thank you for this information. This is meant for NetGalley members and is not really a book to review.

A beginner-friendly and practical guide that takes the overwhelm out of social media. Short, clear, and packed with step-by-step tips, this handbook makes posting and engaging feel simple and natural even if you’re just starting out.

This is an excellent resource for new NetGalley users looking to leverage their book related social media accounts! I appreciate that the guide is organized into sections for different types of accounts. I will refer to this guide as I continue posting my reviews.

Another amazing resource. This one is all about getting started as a reviewer on social media. It breaks down the different sites and gives direction on which might be the best fit depending on what you want to do. Great tips for focus and equipment when getting started with a review account.

Despite having been on Bookstagram for just over 5 years, there were still some handy tips in here - I particularly liked the notes on accessibility and (as a blogger as well) changing the style or content of your review based on platform.

Fantastic information on how to start a book account. I have two social media accounts and I review on here, Amazon, and Goodreads. I will use all of the advice!!

This handbook was very helpful in explaining different social media platforms, what type of content to post on them, tips for creating and planning content, as well as writing and sharing reviews! In a short guide this book covers a lot of helpful information for anyone new to the book social media world. Highly recommend to anyone looking to start a platform where they can share their love of books!

NetGalley created a wonderful social media guide. It breaks down the different types of social medias and what to post on each.

It's a game-changer 'cause it saves you time and brainpower, letting you focus on what really matters: connecting with your people and creating dope content. It's a way to work smarter, not harder. Great resource for reviewers!

Great for those new to reviewing and leaving them in social media but left out a bunch of platforms that aren’t necessarily netgalley’s competition but can be seen as that way.

I loved this! When I started my bookish account, I was a little overwhelmed with all the apps/platforms out there. I struggled a bit about what the purpose of each one is and what types of content to post, etc. So having this overview, dos and don'ts, and the specific guides to each platform were very helpful. Even though the pages are text-heavy, I still found it easy to read through them and follow the content along.
The only criticism I have is that some of the elements flicker or disappear entirely when I read it through the NetGalley app. I don't know if it has to do with my device/app specifically or if it was more because of the format. What I mean is, for example, instead of the title saying "Account Creation", I only see " cou t C ea io" and the images of the pencils also go missing. When I scroll fast on the doc, it shows them, but when I linger on the page while reading, they disappear.

Helpful, particularly if you aren't sure what the best social media platform is for how you intend to form your reviews.

This guide is an essential resource for book reviewers who are looking to expand their social media presence. As someone who is looking to start this journey themselves, I found this guide to have so many practical strategies for creating engaging content across platforms. I appreciated how the guide balances big-picture strategy—like developing your brand and building authentic connections—with step-by-step tips for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Goodreads. This makes starting on social media feel accessible and empowers you to feel ready to start your journey.

This was a helpful overview as I continue to consider what book reviewing should look like for me. I used to have a book blog, tried briefly to run a book youtube, but now I interact with books on a professional scale as a Library Director. Even though reviewing books is part of my professional life now as I consider purchasing for our collections, selecting books for displays and book groups, and reader's advisory, I also still have a personal passion for literature and reading that I feel a craving to pour my creativity into. This guide is helpful for me as I consider how I can make both aspects, both career and creative/personal, work for me across different platforms and profiles (my own vs. my library's social platforms). I will continue to come back to this as I figure out how I want to balance the way I'm interacting not only with the books I receive early copies of here, but even the books I'm reading/reviewing off of NetGalley.

The Ultimate Social Media Handbook provided by Netgalley, is a must read for book reviewets, librarians, booksellers or other bookish professionals.
I find it really help as I'm new to book reviewing in respect of ARC's and wanted to find ways to spread the word about some of the great books I have reviewed. I liked the fact that it is written in easy to understand language. It covers hints and tips including the specifics of each social media platform and is a handbook that I will keep returning back to as my book reviewer journey continues.

Helpful and informative. Laid out in a visually appealing format that keeps the reader’s attention. I like that it breaks down the various social media options. It also gives tips and links on formatting and creating content.

This is a handbook that it pays to keep readily available. It is chock full of useful information for social media bloggers. You get tips on making your reviews better for social media and more. The tips will help anyone who reviews books and other products to make your reviews more useful to your followers. Highly recommended!
