A fantastic resource for book reviewers! The tailored tips for each platform make it easy to create engaging content, and the extra resources are a great bonus for building your online presence.

Social media can feel like screaming into the void—except the void sometimes screams back, and now it wants to know your stance on enemies-to-lovers vs. second-chance romance. "NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook" is here to help book lovers, reviewers, and aspiring influencers navigate the chaos with practical strategies, platform-specific tips, and the occasional please, don’t do this PSA. If you’ve ever stared at your Goodreads, Instagram, or TikTok and wondered how do I make this fun instead of a stress spiral?, this guide has your back.
Written by the team behind "We Are Bookish," the book covers everything from crafting engaging content to understanding the dark sorcery that is the algorithm. It’s a quick, easy read packed with straightforward advice—how to optimize your posts, build an audience without selling your soul, and avoid common pitfalls (no, aggressively tagging authors in negative reviews is not a pro move). While it won’t turn you into an overnight BookTok sensation, it does provide a solid foundation for anyone looking to grow their presence in the online book community without losing their mind in the process.
At 4.5 stars, "NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook" is a well-organized, no-nonsense resource for book reviewers and bloggers who want to up their game. It won’t hold your hand, but it will point you in the right direction—so you can spend less time doomscrolling and more time doing what actually matters: reading the books on your TBR instead of just posting about them.

A very well organised and engaging social media handbook provided by NetGalley.
I often struggle with handbooks, particularly as they often contain mountains of unnecessary information and seemingly endless paragraphs of instructional material. This handbook however only presents succinct, well set out and engaging information for the reader. I especially found the bookstagram content useful as my social media of choice. Flew through all 25 pages with ease. Highly recommend as a starting point for those wanting to increase their social media engagement.
Thank you NetGalley for the resource.

I adored this social media handbook. Reading is one of my beloved hobbies and as a complete introvert, this guide is well-structured enough to facilitate how I communicate. Highly recommended guide for any NetGalley reviewer.

This is a great comprehensive guide to assist reviewers in combining your NetGalley reviews with social media. I highly recommend getting this as a reference for all reviewers.

We Are Bookish packed plenty of great tips in their Social Media Handbook. This ebook is sure to help any novice reviewers find firm footing on any of the platforms thoroughly covered.

This helped me a lot in my bookstagram and booktok journey. The advices were good. Thank you for the tips. My book accounts improved a lot.

Such a useful book (it's like a guide actually) for anyone who have a bookish account on social media
it's also well-organized with some beautiful graphics>>>

This has some excellent pointers! I'm not comfortable with social media due to my age. This book puts it in terms I'm able to understand and appreciate. Thank you for the help.

I love this handbook and am thankful for any resource that gives me tips to improve my content.
This is also a book that you can refer back to on and off. It would be great if it auto updated as things on Socials change so frequently.

Loved this collection of tips and tricks, especially as a newbie to both NetGalley and Bookstagram! Thank you NetGalley for putting this together.

Highly recommend for anyone new to NetGalley and ARCs.

This is a very useful guide for getting started on NetGalley. I am new to the bookstagram world, and recently posted my first NetGalley review to Instagram and Goodreads. This guide contains a specific section for bookstagram which includes suggestions for equipment, editing tools, introductions, and engagement. I appreciate the simplified Dos and Donts in each section. Thank you for providing an informative guide on promoting NetGalley books via social media!

Great insight, tips and tricks for social media, especially if you are new to the game. Also wonderful methodology for setting up successfully across different platforms.

This was the first resource I consulted when getting started on NetGalley. While I still have a lot to learn, the tips and tricks from this guide helped me tremendously as I’m working on expanding my bookish social media presence..

I like seeing the recommendations for social media. It has really helped me in with my booktok account and makes it simpler. I like how there are picture as well to make it easier to understand. Thank you!

I wish I had something like this when I first started out on Bookstagram! It's a really good introduction to using bookish social media across platforms. Information is up to date too, realistic, and considers accessibility too. It also covers netiquette, so with this there is no excuse not to get chatting about books!

I didn't realize We Are Bookish had so many different tools and kits available - I was so excited to stumble across more of them today! This handbook actually has tons of helpful tips and info that would definitely help anyone that is just getting started or someone who has been on social media for a while. I only utilize certain platforms but this handbook jumps into just about all the big ones which is appreciated! I have been on bookstagram in particular for a while but as I am getting more involved with arc reviewing and joining publisher teams in some capacity, having a refresher or some important tips was so helpful. A trending topic lately has been the FTC gifted/review copy disclosure for US readers which a lot of newer reviewers don't seem to know. Long review short, this handbook was well put together, helpful, and a great resource for new and old social users!

There are some great tips in here, and it's always nice to get a reminder of what to do to not only get more exposure but to help authors get more readers!

Wonderful resource for those learning how to be better at reviewing books and using social media to do so!
