It's great that NetGalley is giving us reviewers/authors very helpful tools to succeed at whichever way you plan to work with NetGalley.

Great intro to various social media platforms and tips!
I especially appreciated the pointing out if one social media platform was better than another for your individual tastes.

Great for someone starting out. It gives tips on different platforms, I didn’t see it mention anything about fable which I kinda wish it did since it seems like most are making the switch. if you’re starting out this can definitely give you a jumpstart and getting the ball rolling.

This seems quite useful. I am not an influencer, but I want to understand how I am being manipulated. This gave me a window into the way social media is used in today’s life. It was simple, clear, easily understood, but a bit too much illustration to be taken seriously. I’m old school, and thankfully the content was brief and concise. I didn’t find the large cartoonish illustrations anything but distracting.

This absolutely helped me better understand what and how to post to my Bookstagram. It was very informative and gave me tips on different social media platforms

Really useful little book of tips. I like how it gives different tips for difficult platforms. It also highlights how you should never tag the author in bad reviews, something everyone should remember

Quick and easy overview of the different bookish social media platforms.
I would have loved a bit more in depth information but that is probably not the aim of this handbook.

Really helpful advice and updated social media information, good for anyone starting out or existing as a content creator

I really enjoy reading this. It's cute. Good guide for me. Hopefully it will be more tips like this.

This is all I hoped for and more! Not only is it a handbook it’s also a guide! Truly grateful to We Are Bookish for this amazing toolkit in book form!

The perfect resource to learn the dos and don'ts of posting bookish content online. This guide gives examples or posts for different social media platforms along with other resources to look into.

This is such a helpful guide! I love how you can truly start from square one with this guide and you'll not only have tips for each type of reviewer but they recommend things for each specific website too!

Super excited to have this as a resource! I can’t wait to use this to help my social media following and boost my platform. Thank you!

Great food for thought. Plenty of helpful tips and for varied platforms. Looking forward to integrating them in to my posts. Thanks.

This is the ULTIMATE NetGalley guide to reviewing books on social media. Incredibly helpful and informative!

This is a great introduction to the different social media platforms that are available to people who want to discuss books! I like that it includes short descriptions of each one and what it is best used for. I also like that they stress the importance of finding what works for you and not trying to do everything. I also loved that they repeatedly talked about the importance of not tagging authors in negative reviews and how to make your posts more accessible!

A well meaning book, this handbook offers advice that is, to put it simply, common sense. For that reason, anyone who has been for any amount of time on any platform will probably find the advice redundant. Another downside is that social media platforms change their tricks and algorithms so often that the information on how to become viral will soon become irrelevant.

Eh. It'd be a great how to if you knew NOTHING of social media and trying to create content for the first time.
But I don't think it's worth it. Not for me anyway. Others might find it really useful, who knows?

A really cute social media guide, with a really cute design. Most of the tips are obvious, but some I actually found useful!

NetGalley’s Social Media handbook gives you all the specifics fix details you’ll need to build a successful book review social media account. Visually appealing. Clear guidance. A must have in your tart up toolkit.
