This was a very short and quick read that provides one insight into running different social media platforms related to reading. It explained the things you should and shouldn’t do. Whilst it was insightful, simply googling will provide you with this information. Nevertheless, it is a good resource to refer to especially when first starting out.

This Social Media Handbook provides advice for book reviewers, librarians, and other bookish professionals on various platforms like Bookstagram and BookTok. It covers platform-specific tips, authentic online presence, and strategies for success, including accessibility, content creation, calendar planning, and sharing book reviews across platforms.

I was quite curious to see what this handbook might contain. I loved the format of the handbook and its simplified layout. Some of the ideas I can quickly work upon whilst others, will be for me to reflect on. I thought that it had something for everyone from the beginning to the intermediate. Definitely worth reviewing and an item to have in your toolbox.

This book was perfect and the exact tips I was looking for. I highly recommend reading this book. This small handbook is packed full of wonderful knowledge on how to post on social media, from photography tips to hashtag tips. This is also a very fast read with straight to the point information and tips.

I wish I had this handbook when I first started by bookstagram account. There wasn’t any new-to-me information in here but it would have been helpful a few years ago.

Informative and to the point. Explaining the benefits and uses of each social media platform, what equipment you need to start posting there, and best practices, dos and don’ts, and suggestions for content on each platform.
It’s clear, concise, and to the point.

This is a great resource for social media users to keep in their back pocket! I love that it is regularly updated- platforms and algorithms are constantly evolving. Give this handbook a try if you’re looking for tips to improve your platforms, or if you’d like to see the pros and cons on using different social media platforms. It’s laid out nicely and is a quick, easy read!

An excellent and comprehensive guide to reviewing on social media including BookTube, Bookstagram, blogs and Substack. The guide is very visual and very helpful especially for new reviewers.
