I wish I could say that I liked this book more but I really just couldn't wrap my head around the absurdity of it. It was supposed to be in current times but the way Addison and everyone else spoke made it seem like it was supposed to be in the 40s. I had to keep reminding myself things like "no, they mentioned YouTube and Uber" when I started thinking too hard about it. None of the characters were really likable or memorable and I felt like the entire thing was rushed and a bunch of different ideas smashed together not really completed at any point. It was hard to remember who any of the side characters were other than the people that were mentioned constantly. I was going to give it a 1 star but the ending picked back up enough to be a 1.5-2. All in all, the writing was weird and felt very disjointed and I just couldn't get a good feel for it. Probably wouldn't recommend reading this one.

We can put celebrities on pedestals but they are just human beings who make good and bad decisions, get illnesses and hurt just like everyone else.
An emotional story

This book just wasn’t for me. But I really liked the setting and the characters. The dialogues were a bit weak but the main story being told in the form of journals was pretty creative
