Wow! I AM CRYING!

I read this book with my heart in my throat the entire time just waiting for the other shoe to drop. While I had an idea of what I expected would happen (and it did), there were also some moments that I just did not see coming. This was a wonderful conclusion to a story I didn’t expect to become so fond of.

I devoured this book! It was such a good ending to the series and although I'm sad it is over, I couldn't have wished for a better ending.

I loved the adventure throughout, although I would have liked some adventures to last longer. Nadir is one of my favourite characters, and I really enjoyed his perspective throughout the book. Lor was brilliant as always, and I enjoyed seeing how her character has developed throughout the series. This felt like a great show of who shi is and how far she has come.

Overall, I loved this book

Following that crazy conclusion in Fate of the Sun King, Tale of the Heart Queen begins. Upon the Aurora King's arrival, Lor goes into the gloomy depths of the Underworld, where she is once more at the centre of a fatal test. But this time, rather than merely a crown, she is vying for Ouranos's entire destiny.
This is your chance to pick up the Artefacts of Ouranos if you haven't already! These characters, especially my babies Lor and Nadir, will be sorely missed. Throughout these volumes, I was able to witness their love grow and mend, and I can't wait for you to feel the same way! Congratulations, Nisha! I'm looking forward to reading more of your writings!! Many thanks!!

4.75/5 stars! This is the fourth entry in the Artefacts of Ouranos series by Nisha Tuli. It is also the conclusion and what an ending it provided. I found myself crying as I closed this book, wishing for even more time with Nadir and Lor. This definitely fits the romantasy genre and I can't wait to see what's next for this author.

I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review

This is the fourth and final book in the Artefacts of Ouranos series so please be aware that my review may contain spoilers although I'm going to try my hardest!

I have absolutely loved this series and for me it's one that has gotten better with each book. I love this world and it's characters and I'm devastated that it's now over. This story is so gripping and addictive with characters you cannot help but love and leave you whole heartedly invested in their well being.

Lor is a fantastic character whose character development has been on point. She is fierce, powerful and fights for what she believes in, even if that means putting herself in the face of danger. The romance is one of my favourite things about this book. Lor and Nadir are just perfect and I love them so much.

I could honestly gushing about this series for hours. The world building is phenomenal, the spice is hot and the characters are fantastic. I 100% recommend picking up this series and diving into this world!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an an honestl review.

Thank you to the author for providing me with an eARC of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review!
Tale of the Heart Queen is the last book in the Artefacts of Ouranos series. It continues immediately after the shocking ending of book 3!

“You and me. Forever. No matter what it takes”

Beware of spoilers for previous books!

Well, this book definitely was one wild ride! I am honestly so glad I got approved for the eARC and didn’t have to wait after than ending in book 3! I am also SO glad I didn’t have to wait super long in general and could sort of binge this series!
The book opens with a bang, which was needed after the bigger bang that book 3 ended on! We meet Zerra and Lor gets another quest shoved into her lap. Also, the very first impression I got this book is: I don’t like Zerra, she’s a b*tch hahaha.
I love how every book took, sort of, took us to a new place in the vast world. This time, the story takes us to Alluvion, and I love how, while knowing these monarchies are in place, we see new ones every book! The time in Alluvion is certainly entertaining as Lor meets new people all the while trying to complete her quest.
While I very much liked the opening of this book, there is one thing I wasn’t the biggest fan of. This is mostly just a personal preference. I also feel like the pacing in this book was slower than in the other three. Still, the book was hard to put down!
This book is a great conclusion and the found family trope shines brightly in this one! I really like how Lor got a great support system around her after everything she went through. I also love how regal she became, not just thinking about herself, her mate, and her family, but also about her people. I also love the romance between Lor and Nadir and how in sync they are with each other. They truly complete and complement each other so much!
I love the twists and emotional rollercoaster this book took me on, even when it made me scratch my head a bit sometimes. I loved the progression and plot, the super high stakes and all that took place, but did feel like certain scenes were a bit out of place at times. There is also a sort of redemption arc for one of the characters, which was nice but also made me feel conflicted because of my previous thoughts about this character hahaha.
Overall, Tale of the Heart Queen is an amazing conclusion to an equally amazing series that I very much enjoyed! I’m sad to have to say goodbye to these characters and this lush world they live in!

SPOILER THOUGHTS
I just don’t like separation and felt like maybe the separation between Lor and Nadir took too long. It was around 30%, which is 200 pages in that they reunite finally….
I also didn’t really get this sort of trial Lor and Nadir went on while in the Underworld, while loving that the story took us to that place in the first time

Book 4 in the Artefacts of Ouranos Series ( Book 4 out of 4)
Multi POV
Spicy 🌶️

Meddling Gods - Trials in the Underworld - Quest - Who did this to you? - Found family - I would burn the world for you vibes - Morally Grey Characters -Revenge - Touch her/him and d!e

I'm glad our main characters finally had the HEA they deserved, but they still had to work for it.

Personally, I think this series could have been shorter, or at least books 3 and 4 could have been cut down a bit. Book 4 has an unnecessary plot; it is almost 700 pages. The short chapters help to keep the plot and intrigue moving, but the first part of the book with Zerra was kind of pointless.

The underworld trials seemed too easy and too short for what was at stake.

I was also disappointed with Gabriel's love life ending. During book 3, we had a lot of his backstory that was building up towards a certain love interest. The reason why he did not end up with this character makes sense, but he gets interested in someone completely out of the blue. I personally don't think they fit together at all.

Overall, I'm happy I get to see our 2 main characters happy together, but I was disappointed in the execution of this last book.

I received an ARC copy in return of an honest review. Thank you, Nisha J. Tuli and NetGalley, for this ARC of Tale of the Heart Queen.

An exhilarating and emotional finale to the Ouranos Artifacts series. With enemies closing in and alliances forming in unexpected places, the stakes have never been higher. This final installment ties together threads from the previous books while delivering new surprises, heart-pounding twists, and moments of deep emotional resonance.

One of the book's strengths is incredible world-building. The kingdoms of Ouranos are described so vividly that you feel as though you’re traveling alongside the characters. Meeting all the rulers of these lands and seeing them unite to prevent the mistakes of the past was a highlight, adding depth and stakes to the story. Lor’s journey, which began with deadly trials and ends with even greater ones, is the true heart of the series. Her evolution into a cunning, loyal, and fiercely brave leader is inspiring, and her unwavering determination to fight for what she believes in makes her one of my favorite fantasy heroines.

The romance is equally captivating. The slow-burn connection between Lor and Nadir finally reaches its crescendo in this book, and it’s everything fans of the series could hope for. Nadir, with his broody yet tender demeanor, is a unique take on the classic "shadow daddy" archetype, and his love for Lor shines through in every moment. Their relationship is a beautiful mix of passion, trust, and mutual respect, making their journey to happiness deeply satisfying. The spice escalates in this final installment, adding intensity and depth to their bond.

While the book is undeniably gripping, its length is noticeable, and a few conflicts wrapped up a bit too conveniently. Additionally, I would have loved to see more of Lor stepping into her role as queen and rebuilding her queendom, as this felt like an integral part of her journey. Despite these minor critiques, the story remains compelling, and the ending is a fitting and emotional conclusion to an incredible series.

This is packed with everything you could want: adventure, betrayal, love, and redemption. The villains are complex, the side characters intriguing, and every twist keeps you hooked. This series has been a wild, emotional ride, and I’m genuinely sad to see it end. It’s the kind of story that stays with you long after the final page, and I know I’ll revisit these books in the future. If you’re a fan of fantasy romance, I can’t recommend this series enough—prepare for an addictive, heart-wrenching journey that will leave you wanting more.

I read Tale of the Heart Queen by Nisha J. Tuli, and it's the fourth and last book of het Ouranos Artifacts series.

The journey of Lor and Nadir continues to become the righteous Queen of Heart with the literally and figuratively ups and downs. She has to overcome all of her enemies she made throughout the journey, but she gathers new friends along the way.

I loved Nisha's writing style, and the characters were the ones you really can hate, can love an be mesmerized by them.

I really loved it, I laughed and cried during my read. It's a very emotional read!

When we left Lor I was completely broken. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I was dreading how to finish the series without wanting to throw the book at the wall if certain things did not happen!

Thankfully all has been rectified in my little world and Lor and her family get the ending they all deserve. There are allies won and lost, new friendships formed, and families are reunited.

Nadir and Lor have been #couplegoals since book 1, even though at times I worried just how they were going to get that HEA. I have loved getting to know Ouranos, the various kingdoms and queendoms. The world is really well described without being totally bogged down and the mythology of the world was new to me and I really enjoyed seeing that Gods can be a*holes too!

Lor has been an amazing character to see grow throughout the books. She has overcome so much and is deserving of all the good things in life. She can be sly, sarky, stubborn to the point of insanity but she is also brave, loving and determined.

The spice is spicing and the action scenes don't get overlooked - the romance and action are equally well depicted. #Did I have a giggle at the little #soapgate in-joke - why yes, yes I did!

It's sad to leave this series. It has been an absolute dream - it was so refreshing where the main characters are not pasty like me, they are vibrant, colourful and unabashedly themselves. The LGBTQIA characters aren't stereotypes and are just as wonderful as the main couple. My only grumble was I wanted to see into the future and see who Lor is now that she has peace!

I have loved this series so much!

Books with multiple POVs will always have a firm place in my heart. It helps to really understand all the characters more fully while bringing the storyline together. In this book we get to see POVs of all the rulers of Ouranos which I absolutely loved!

The plot in this book is really well paced and balanced. There were lots of new twists I wasn't expecting but everything got closure and made this a brilliant ending to the series. And as always the romance between Lor and Nadir is perfect.

Highly recommend to any romantasy lovers!!

The last book in this series and I really enjoyed it (although I’m sad it’s over!). This is a long read (circa. 700 pages) and while I did feel there were scenes that weren’t 100% necessary and could’ve been done without, it was overall a great read and final instalment. Definitely recommend

I have loved reading this series! I can't believe it's over and everything has come to an end. It's been incredible reading about all of these amazing characters' growth! the love, the relationships, the found family is jut beautiful!

this series is the perfect mix of fantasy and romance🤌🏼 I really like how everything was wrapped up in the end after 4 amazing books <3
I love how strong and fierce Lor is. She will go to any lenght to protect her loved ones🫶🏼

the only critique I have is I felt like this book was a bit long. Idk if that's because I couldn't see how many pages it was/how many pages I had left or because it indeed was a bit long😅

but with all said, this is definietly a five star romantasy series I'd recommend to ANYONE who loves a good fantasy with lots of romance😍!!

OMG, you guys! I can't even with this author, she blows me away with her words. Everytime.
I cried!

Tale of the Heart Queen is the last book in the Artefacts of Ouranos series and I have to say that the finale was everything that I could have hoped for and more. I really enjoyed seeing how the plot was built up and how everything fell into place.

The suspense and excitement of this book had me on edge, I was consumed by every word all the way until the end. Pages were submerged with emotions and some pretty astonishing twists. The characters were great and kept me glued to the pages. Lor will probably remain as one of the best heroines I ever came across.

I swear, the deeper you dive into this series the better it gets.

Epic!

The final book in the Artefacts of Ouranos series did not disappoint. After the cliffhanger of the 3rd book I wasn't sure what to expect, luckily I didn't have to wait long.
Despite the first 3 books being slightly predictable, this one had me questioning how things were going to pan out.
My only criticism is the book felt a little long compared to the others.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange of an honest review. This series have been my summer obsession and I'm so happy to read this story early.

I have a lot of emotions about this book, both good ones and bad ones.

Lor and Nadir have quickly became one of my favorite book couples ever. I truly think they're one of the best fantasy couples out there. They have the slow burn, the development, all that good stuff. Their relationship evolve with the story, it's not rushed or dragged. It feels all natural and perfect.

Nisha has a way of getting you attached to the story and the characters. There are a lot of cliches and predictable stuff, but her storytelling and additions make it all fun. You care for all characters and the story gets you excited. I cried in many scenes because I'm just in love with Lor and Nadir and their love story. They were so hard to let go.

However, I'm sad to say that this was my least favorite book in the series. It's a long book, yes, but half of it just felt unremarkable. A lot of scenes could be cut and nothing would change. Despite all the scenes, I feel like the main events and all the big moments were a bit rushed. For example, I expected more of their re-union and the ending of the battle and stuff but they just...happened. It felt like reading the rough ideas in a draft than the book itself.

Still, I enjoyed it and the rest of the series. Lor and Nadir will always be one of my top couples and have a special place in my heart. Now if you excuse me, I will be crying.

Really grateful to be able to read this early. I’ve enjoyed this series, the world building and the characters so much I honestly sobbed coming to the end of book 4.

Lor and Nadir are two great characters who have overcame so much, the trials (quite literally for Lor) and tribulations on this journey have been incomprehensible. The start of the book will break your heart, and it honestly Lor deserved a break.

This is one of my favourite conclusions to a series, the way all the characters play huge parts in this was incredible. Any questions you had about the gods, the arks and their purpose, Lor’s destiny, magic, the heart kingdom and the other kingdoms are all thoroughly answered. You will be satisfied and gutted by the end, but you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Unfortunately, I DNF'd this book at about 60%... I still want to give my thoughts on the series as a whole though, because I did essentially binge the series in order to get to this book before the deadline and there was a lot I liked about it! My favourite books were probably the first and the second because I truly love the characters and the relationship development between Nadir and Lor. I loved how ominous the first book felt, and I loved the push and pull of the second book was the two characters were trying to resist their growing feelings for each other. Unfortunately though, the third and fourth book really started to focus heavily on separating those characters and getting into a lot of history in the world. There was a lot of POV swaps, and not enough time delving into the characters in those POVs to make me really care about them. I think all the POV swaps did detract from the reading experience, especially when the main characters would then repeat the information shared in those POVs as a way of them finding out the next piece of the puzzle they needed. I also think the intense focus on the history of the world was just not interesting for me as a reader. Adding to that the fact that there wasn't enough of a plot pushing the story forward, the whole reading experience just felt really slow, especially in the fourth book. I think there was a lot of talking and history, but just not enough exciting stuff happening on-page and a way too confusing magic and power system in terms of the gods. I found myself getting frustrated with all the mystery, rather than intrigued, which wasn't ideal. I'm really sad about how this ended because I truly loved the first and second book.

This book was everything I needed it to be to wrap up this series. I laughed, I cried and I am bereft that the series is finished.

Nisha’s writing is exceptional and incredibly transporting. I am usually a reader of books 300-400 pages long but despite being almost 700 pages I flew through this and enjoyed every minute.

I have so much love for Lor and Nadir ❤️ Will we maybe see a spin off for Tristan?

thank you netgalley for this e-book arc!
When I started this series I was initially sceptical of whether I'd like it or not but I absolutely loved this. Our FMC Lor is very strong and sure of herself but she knows when she's wrong and admits it...eventually. Our MMC Nadir is an absolute sweetheart and I wanted to cry at some points because he was just so sweet. I love that Lor feels safe with Nadir and he is able to help her fight the monsters of her past.
There was soooo much action in this book and a LOT of plot twists. Like I'd turn the page and something literally so unexpected would just happen.
If there was something I didn't like, it was probably that the author decided to redeem apricia. she was SUCH an annoying character ( if you read book one you know what i mean) and I don't like how she magically turned into this amazing person. Like I get that the author needs to tie up loose ends but I personally think she didn't need to redeem apricia because it was unnecessary. I literally forgot she existed.
I do appreciate that The Aurora King redeemed himself but still met a poor fate because he lowkey deserved it. It just broke my heart for Nadir because he finally got hope that his father changed but he still died anyways.
In addition, some sentences in this book just hit me so hard and I think there are quotes in here that some might find entirely relatable. I really did enjoy this book!
