A spice romance. Dex is living in Las Vegas and becomes friends with Lennox. Lennox is a mess. She cannot hold on to a job and is always in one fix or another. Dex is the heir to a billion dollar company but no one in Las Vegas knows. His grandmother's will lets the company to his wife. Problem is he does not have a wife. What to do?
Dex and Lennox have both been fighting feelings for each other. What will happen if they marry and she now is CEO of his company? Is she in it for the money or do they have real feelings for each other?
This book starts as a marriage of convenience. Will it become the real thing? You will have to read this book to find out.

Thank you to #NetGalley, @authorkaykove and the publisher for a copy of this book.

I love the cover which is what drew me to this book! I’d definitely recommend this book. I was surprised to find out it was a series. The characters was well developed. I loved it when Dex called her his wife. I loved the fact granddaughter still had love for her past love. Was glad Lennox was able to help the company. Great read!

For me, this one topped Camera Shy. I absolutely adored Dex and loved Lennox. Give me a sassy FMC and a cinnamon roll MMC any day. It's sexy, funny, full of heart and emotions. Best part, no third act breakup. To me that trope is overplayed and I love the way the author chose to have these characters work together to overcome obstacles. It was a refreshing aspect of a hard earned romance.

Sometimes you find a new romance author you connect with immediately. Her characters and their development. The story that she tells. Everything you are looking for in a romance is there.

This story is told from several POV’s so we get a well-rounded story that includes a billionaire, family requirements and secrets, and even a splash of mystery.

Best friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and Cove knocked it out of the park. The characters are awesome together and Dex is so patient and kind even when she makes huge mistakes that could take them down.

I Love Love Love that there is no 3rd act breakup. I seriously HATE when authors use that. Love is about working together, not chasing someone. Cove gets that all over this story!

The family ties and requirements are woven throughout the book and get dicey at a time or two. Dex has a wonderful soul and that is represented in the best ways in Snapshot.

I have so much love for this one. These two are perfect together – A little spice. A little sass. And a whole lot of relationship goals. I cannot wait for more from this author!

A huge thanks to NetGalley and Victory Editing for providing this ARC in exchange for my review.

Lennox - typical girl next door, working low paid bum jobs but gorgeous and funny

Dex - living a double life surf shop owner vs actual billionaire and nearly newly appointed CEO of a cruise ship company

But there's a clause, Dex must find a wife and be with them for 12 month in a contract to be eligible as CEO.

A drunken night ensues and Dex asks Lennox to fulfill the position of his wife, both having had 3 years of hidden longing for each other.

After almost hooking up at a house party three years ago, Lennox and Dex have been firmly in the friend zone.

But when his grandmother leaves the billion-dollar family business to Dex’s (non-existent) wife, Lennox agrees to step in. One Las Vegas wedding later and three years’ worth of desire and attraction come pouring out.

As Lennox relocates to Miami and settles into her new roles of CEO and wife, every decision she makes seems to end in disaster.

Now the company is in trouble and the board are pushing for Lennox’s removal. With his family legacy at risk, Dex has some difficult decisions to make.

🌼

I’m a big fan of the marriage of convenience trope and loved how Lennox and Dex’s relationship shifted from friends to lovers. The added layer of family secrets being unearthed kept me guessing as all of the pieces of the puzzle began to come together.

4.5 ⭐️ - highly recommended

I had previously read Camera Shy and loved it. When I heard this book would be Friends to Lovers I wasn't too convinced I wanted to read it, but when I read that it would be about a marriage of convenience I was all in.

Kay has such a fluid way of writing that you really don't notice the time, and before I knew it I was totally immersed with the story and was more than half way through the book.

I loved Lennox's sass, I want a friend like that in my life, and I loved Dex's love dump for her. It was a really good read, with lots of love and lots of laughs too.

Life has a way of interfering, and life has everyone wondering what is happening. But once they figure things out, their life gets easier, and things come together for some. For others, it takes a little bit longer, but Lennox has a sassy little attitude, that makes it so much fun. At times, it was like, things just got thrown up in the air, and pieces of their lives came down, and they had to figure out where they all fit, Enjoy how they begin to put the pieces, how it all comes together, and all the exciting things that happen.
I received an ARC from Page & Vine through NetGalley.

"My wife." 🤤

That line was chef's kiss.

That and the dedication had me melting because d@mn.

I loved Lennox and her sassiness. She felt b@d@$$ to me and those are my favorite type of FMCs.

I loved Dex's cinnamon roll/ golden retriever vibes when it came to Lennox.

The chemistry between these two had me captivated the entire time.

If you love friends-to-lovers, marriage of convenience, and hidden identity, then this book is for you.

This was my first read by Kay Cove but it won't be my last.

I had previously read Camera Shy by Kay Cove and really enjoyed the story, so I was excited to give Snapshot a try. I ended up loving it even more! Dex and Lennox had such a great story, and it made me enjoy tropes that I'm normally not a big fan of - marriage of convenience and billionaire. I think that the marriage of convenience trope worked for me in this story because they had already been friends for a while and were comfortable with each other, which made it feel like more of a natural next step. The billionaire trope was less bothersome for me personally because Dex didn't flaunt his money with extravagant things most of the time. Their interactions were great, I enjoyed the spice, and overall this was a great read.

Spicy read. Lennox is on a bumpy ride through life. Dex is faced with major life decisions. They come together by chance but, both of their lives are altered forever. Characters and storyline keep your interest. Recommend. I was given an advanced reader copy of this book by NetGalley and I am freely sharing my review.

This book gets an A+++ for me. A first Kay Cove read for me and most definitely not the last! It has all the feels… friendship, betrayal, love, heartbreak, romance, acceptance and denial. I could keep reading about Lennox and Dex’s lives together endlessly. And Dottie? Her letters made my eyes water. Her words of wisdom to Dex about what’s important in life shattered my emotions. The spice level was super hot too! Sure not to disappoint. This is a story I will happily reread.

I love a friend's to lovers trope and this one has just the right amount of steam and sweetness! This was my first book by Kay Cove but won't be my last.

When Lennox has a string of bad luck, losing her job and potentially losing her apartment, she doesn't think anything will turn her life around. Dex is rich, heir to a multi million dollar company and has no time for love. But when he is given an ultimatum by his grandmother that he has to be married in order to take over the company he suggests to Lennox that they can help each other. Can Lennox pull off pretending to be married to Dex? Will the fake feelings become real feelings?

Great book! Many thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

Heir to cruise ship conglomerate, forced to take a break before stepping into the business he’s destined for, meets a down on her luck, hot mess at an out of control house party. Having been burned in the past, Dex decides to deny his instant attraction to Lennox and keep things platonic.
Upon his grandmother’s passing, she throws a wrench in his plans when she wills the business to his non-existent wife. Their friendship turns into marriage of convenience that quickly becomes much more than either of them could imagine.
Great sexy times between the main characters and some surprising twists and turns made for a good story. This is a new to me author and I think I will check out her other books.

I loved this book! It had everything -- friends to lovers, billionaire hero, quirky heroine. It had the right amount of spice -- when Lennox and Dex do get together, it's an inferno!! The writing flowed, and the story kept me engaged from the first page. I highly recommend this title and will be recommending it to my own readers!

Be careful what you get yourself into when you think you've got it all figured out....SNAPSHOT by Kay Cove is a fast-paced romance with strong characters, high stakes, and a fascinating premise: Lennox and Dex are friends who set up a marriage of convenience for him to secure a family fortune and business and for her to depart richer and better for the experience -- until they get into it and realize grandma Mimi might have known more than expected in setting up the marriage clause for Dex to take charge. As far-fetched as the premise felt, I quickly fell under the spell of an excellent storyteller and the full, rich characters, situations, and settings of a very satisfying, roller coaster of a read. I received a copy of this book and these thoughts are my own, unbiased thoughts.
